Chelsea Cooper thinks her best friend’s fiancé is the world’s biggest jerk.
She’s never really been one to make waves, but when it comes to that guy, Chelsea’s willing to make an exception. There’s just no way she can let her best friend make the biggest mistake of her life by marrying him. She’ll do anything to stop the wedding, even if it means teaming up with the one person who’s an even … even bigger jerk—the groom-to-be’s best friend.
Drew Russo thinks his best friend’s fiancée’s best friend is the prickliest woman alive.
Everything about Chelsea aggravates him. She’s too structured, too uptight, and too opinionated—especially when it comes to her thoughts on his best friend. When he’s tasked with keeping her away from their best friends’ secret wedding, Drew knows he’s in for one hell of a challenge. Never mind the days he’ll have to spend trapped in a car with the world’s most annoying woman.
The plan is simple enough—keep Chelsea from interfering with the wedding. But between distractions, delays and detours, they discover they aren’t the enemies they thought they were. And sometimes a wrong turn can lead you in the right direction.
Warning—This sweet, sexy, and laugh out loud funny romance is filled with all the most ridiculous road trip stories you can imagine and will make you realize sometimes being wrong can be a lot more fun than being right.

Fun, fast, and ohhhhh so fresh–this book is a serious pick me up. Samantha Chase knows how to deliver sexy-sweet romance. Perfect read for a snuggle-up day at home.
Wrong Turn, Right Match!
This book is the second in Samantha Chase’s Road Tripping series.
This book brings Drew (a software specialists together with Chelsea (a physiotherapist and a book narrator for audio books). These two individuals have a poor view of the other, and as they meet up every Friday for a group of friends getting together, they rub each other the wrong way, and are happy to allow the other to move on to talk with others. In this book, Chelsea’s best friend (Bianca) and Drew’s best friend (Jimmy), decide to elope and they don’t want Chelsea to know about it as they know she will try to stop the wedding (She doesn’t believe these 2 are a good match for the other). I have to say, I hated Bianca and her crew! She has to be one of the most narcissistic woman that Chelsea has had the unfortunate opportunity to call her best friend! When Chelsea learns from Drew that Bianca and Jimmy are eloping, Drew is pulled into a scheme to keep her occupied so she won’t ruin the wedding. Drew does exactly that, and as the two embark on a very long road trip to the destination wedding, they learn that their opinion about the other person is not reality! They grow much closer, and finally learn they are really perfect for each other.
When they finally arrive at the wedding destination, the anger from Jimmy, and the evil comments from Bianca are too much! I loved seeing Chelsea finally stand up for herself! And then to have Bianca still expect her to be her maid-of-honour was way over the top for me! Thank goodness, Chelsea had left and she wasn’t going back to a “friend” who was only there to make herself feel better by constantly putting her down!
I felt that Chelsea was probably the only one of the bunch of friends who had matured and recognized her future dreams and desires, and the path to get there. Thankfully, Drew grew up while he was having some real life discussions with Chelsea while on their road trip. The others in the group, were completely mean girl or frat boys.
I loved how Chelsea was reading the first book in this series (Drive me Crazy) and how Drew needed to finish the book before reconnecting with Chelsea for their HEA! All in all, I truly enjoy Samantha Chase’s writing style and her sense of humour throughout her books. This was no exception!
I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing it. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and given freely.
My first book from this author, but it won’t be my last! I adored this couple, they made me laugh so much with their banter and antics, the story was simply perfection! I can’t wait for the next one!
It’s been awhile since I read rom-com and I’m so glad I read this one and as my first experience with Samantha Chase I sure loving it…..A lot.
A road trip with an enemy to crash a wedding, oh yeah this one definitely has interesting and entertaining story with lots of drama.
Lots of laughters, lots of frustrations, and lots of love, my favorite combo in rom-com read. I really can feel the anger, the frustration, the hurt they’ve been through and that makes me can’t put this book down, I keep turning page after page to find out how they survive this crazy fun road trip. Great cute sweet story with amazing adorable loveable characters, so yeah absolutely a MUST-READ one for rom-com fans.
Road trip with polar opposites? Piece of cake…. right?
Turns out if that cake has frosting… wait, I’m getting ahead of myself.
Chelsea and Drew have the unfortunate blessing of their best friends falling for each other. Which means every Friday night, they get to spend together – mostly throwing jabs. It’s routine. And maybe that’s how it’s always gonna be…but is that good enough? They don’t get the chance to find out. When the best friends decide to elope, it suddenly becomes Drew’s job to make sure Chelsea doesn’t ruin the surprise wedding.
Chelsea was a great heroine. She loves her best friend – they’ve been friends forever. But what she sees in Drew’s best friend is completely beyond her understanding. They are soooooo not right for each other! And it seems that Chelsea is the only one who recognizes it. When Drew lets it slip that the happy couple ran off together, she knows she has to stop it. She just didn’t count on Drew trying to stop her.
Drew can’t let his best friend down and knows that taking on distracting Chelsea for an entire weekend is going to be the death of him. One thing leads to another and suddenly they are off on a road trip together. How Drew is going to stretch it out long enough to miss the wedding he isn’t sure… but then they start driving… and talking… and Drew suddenly realizes that maybe there’s a lot more to this girl than what he was lead to believe. And if there’s more to Chelsea than he thought, maybe she’s not so crazy for wanting to break up this wedding… right?
This enemies-to-lovers is not an easy ride. Both characters are extremely stubborn, have a whole lotta preconceived notions about each other, and don’t like each others’ best friend (as in – the two best friends who are getting married). Most likely there’s a lot of hurt and heartache at the end of this road trip – a road trip that suddenly neither Drew or Chelsea is regretting taking. Does knowing that change what they set out to do? Change them? And how do you recover from a heartache you never saw coming?
Samantha Chase did it again with this couple. This road trip was an eye opener for both Chelsea and Drew. Watching them grow in awareness of each other and their situations as the pages wore on, you are drawn into their lives and on the edge of your seat wondering how it all would end. Absolutely loved this story and I cannot wait until the next book!
Oh yeah…that cake? It makes an appearance for a good time…and frosting… I guess it’s mostly the frosting. Just read it – you’ll see.
This is the perfect read for summer time! I’ve been missing road trips a ton lately and this story made me feel like I went along for the ride. Such a great addition to the Road Tripping series! I loved that it depicted how important it is not to judge a book by it’s cover, as well as not believing what others tell you…form opinions with your own first-hand knowledge. This book is filled with witty banter, romance, but also a touch of drama.
Wrong Turn by Samantha Chase is the second installment in the RoadTripping Series. This is another very well written story by Ms. Chase with well-defined characters and a great storyline. Even though this is the second book in this series it can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the first book also. I was pulled in from the first page and I did not put the book down until I turned the last page. Ms. Chase knows just how to get you to keep turning the pages. I love the troupe enemies to lovers and this was just perfect. I love Ms. Chase’s writing and she has a way of making you have all the feels. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next.
What happens when 2 people who don’t really care for one another take a road trip together? Well we fund out in the enemy’s to lovers book Wrong Turn. The second book in the RoadTripping series by Samantha Chase.
I’m really digging this series so far. In Wrong Turn we meet Chelsea and Drew, two acquaintances who don’t really like one another, but are constantly brought together by their best friends who are a couple.
Wrong Turn is sweet, and a tad sexy book that was so much fun to read. Low angst and lots of comic banter and a bit of spice. I enjoyed this book and highly recommend this series!
Wrong Turn is book two in the RoadTripping series. I really enjoyed this book. Chelsea and Drew couldn’t have seemed more different, but yet they really clicked. It reminded me of when a boy would pull a girl’s hair back in grade school, because secretly he really liked her, even if he didn’t realize it. This book has humor thrown in, which we all need right now. I definitely recommend it. It’s one not to be missed.
What could possibly go wrong when your best friend asks you to keep his fiancé’s best friend occupied/distracted while they go out of town to elope as they know she will ruin their wedding.
That is exactly what Drew Russo’s mission is. To keep Chelsea Cooper from ruining their best friends marriage to each other. It doesn’t take long from Chelsea to first figure out that their friends are eloping and where their wedding is taking place. Drew convinces her they should travel together. He takes one wrong turn, one missed light after another along the way.
It did not take long for Drew to realize that Bianca wasn’t a ‘true’ friend and his and Chelsea perceptions about each other were based upon lies. They decide on a pact to disregard any prior thoughts they had about each other and start over. It’s not long before the chemistry between each other takes over and they give in to it.
When they get to the wedding venue Chelsea has reality check on just what type of ‘friend’ Bianca is and finally stands up for herself. She overhears a conversation that has her doubting anyone close to Bianca and her fiancé, Jimmy, that includes Drew.
I really like the fact that Chelsea stood up for herself and continued too. I’m also glad that Drew supported her even though he lost her for the short term. I honestly didn’t care much for Bianca or Jimmy. Jimmy wasn’t very nice to Chelsea or Drew. I don’t think I’d ever trust Bianca again…ever.
I’m glad by the end of the book that Drew and Chelsea were the strong couple. Those two together are awesome.
This is book 2 in Ms. Chase’s roadtripping series. This book hooks you right away and really makes you feel like you’re part of the story. Chelsea and Drew’s story is exactly what makes Ms. Chase’s books so AMAZING and what we look for in romance. The dynamics between them as frenemies, their dealings with their best friends as well as the heartwarming moments that you don’t want to miss. This is one of Ms. Chase’s BEST books for touching your emotions! I would definitely recommend reading this book and going along for the ride with Chelsea and Drew. You’ll be glad you did. I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion of this book and I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series
A fun read about learning to get to know each other. Chelsea and Drew unlikely and reluctant friends connected through their besties.thrown together by said besties they find themselves on a road trip to bust up a wedding. Now these two find that being stuck in a car is showing them what and who they really are. Falling in love is much easier when we are stuck in a car.
A hysterical story of how two people fall in love.
I’ll tell you what I could use a road trip right about now, but I will definitely need Drew to be with me!
The first book in this new series was great but this one is even better, Chelsea and Drew are not friends but have friends in common. Chelsea decides to intervene and try to stop the elopement between Bianca and Jimmy, Drew steps in and offers to drive Chelsea to the resort. Drew takes so many wrong turns on their road trip and it doesn’t’ take long for Chelsea to figure out what he is doing. As the trip progresses so does their feeling for one another. You can’t help but laugh at the witty remarks that they share between them. A wonderful enemies to lovers story. It is a must read for anyone who is a fan of Samantha Chase.
What would you do to stop your best friend from making a mistake wedding? Try and stop it obviously! So you get together with the fiance’s best friend and road trip it to put an end to it. But a long the way you get to know the enemy and realize you guys have a lot more in common and have an undeniable spark. This book was a great read, you’ll hate some and love the others!!
I would say this is an enemies to lover romance. Imagine taking an unexpected road trip with someone you can’t stand, well that’s exactly what happened with Drew and Chelsea.
Chelsea is a smart and beautiful women, who tends to be on the serious side. She is also an audio narrator, something her friends find boring.
Drew is a fun and handsome man, someone who would do anything for someone he cares about. Which is what gets him into the mess of a road trip with Chelsea to begin with.
Wrong Turn is a little steamier than some of Samantha Chase’s other books, but not in a bad way. I absolutely Love the banter between Drew and Chelsea. Drew tends to bring out the sass in Chelsea. The storyline in so fun, I was completely captured and could not put it down. This book had me laughing and gave me butterflies. There was also many sweet parts that had me swooning over Drew. I have to say it kind of makes me want to take a road trip. I am very excited to see what comes next in this series!!
I love this series!
This second book in the RoadTripping series is so much fun. The characters are so relatable. I really love Drew & Chelsea.
I absolutely adored the fact that Ms. Chase included references and excepts from the first book of the series, Drive Me Crazy in this book. So fun!
Chelsea find out that her best friend is going to get married. She will do anything to stop her friend wedding, because she doesn’t think, they right for each other.
Drew, is groom’s best friend and his job is to make sure, Chelsea, will not stop the wedding.
He will do everything….he will fly with Chelsea, or miss the flight, then they will drive together, he even takes few wrong turns.
Story is amazing, loved Chelsea and Drew, and I hate Bianca.
This new series by Samantha Chase is so much fun to read! It’s funny, witty, quirky & unbelievable. The combinations she comes up with are unreal. In Wrong Turn, Chelsea & Drew are part of a group of friends that have been together for years. They hang out at the same place every Friday. Chelsea & Drew can’t get along. They each believed everything another friend, Bianca told them about the other & let it color their relationship. When Bianca & her fiancée Jimmy decide to elope, they enlisted Drew’s help in keeping Chelsea from wrecking it. As Drew tried trick after trick to stop Chelsea from interrupting the wedding, they both began to see each other for what they really are instead of Bianca’s shadings.
This story is a really fun romance. You really don’t see Chelsea & Drew as a couple. Their differences are more than just them trying to fight chemistry. I loved the way they came to realize they both felt the same about Jimmy & Bianca & weren’t that far apart. I loved the humor that was a big part of the story. Each character engages a different emotion & I enjoyed digging deeper into their personalities. I can’t wait for the next story in this series.
I read this book in 2 days. I just wanted to keep reading and reading. I love the growth of Chelsea in this book. Also Drew had growth, but not as much as Chelsea. The hardest part about reading this book was their friends. They really were a piece of work. I just love these two together. Can’t wait for Test Drive.
This is such a good book!
It’s a feel-good, hilarious & romantic story.
I loved every word on every page!
What happens when two people who
dislike each other, are both forced to
spend time together, with one goal
in mind, to stop a wedding.
Chelsea Drew’s road trip is a disaster
from the very beginning. With lots of
twist & turns on their journey, you never know what is going to happen next.
A MUST READ!!
