Mistaken identity, drunk texts, and hysterical mishaps… just another day in my life.Girls all over the world spill the tea to me about their most intimate questions. They thank me for talking about sex with them. For fixing their love lives.I wonder if I’d still be a relationship influencer if they knew what a train wreck my own love life is?If I was writing anyone else advice, it would say things … writing anyone else advice, it would say things like:
Never drunk-text your ex-boyfriend.
No, seriously, that’s a terrible idea.
But if you insist, maybe double-check the number first.
Oops.
But I guess I give good…text, because the stranger I messaged wrote back.
And I responded.
He doesn’t have to put up with my colorful personality—as my hot next-door neighbor describes me. Or my messy schedule.
This relationship is as seemingly perfect as my online persona.
Until we agree to meet up.
When he meets the real me, will he hate me forever?
Or will we be one day telling our grandkids about that wrong text, right love?

Wrong Text, Right Love was a five-star read. I have never read a story quite like this one. It was very well-written and unique in more ways than one. This was a sweet and entertaining book that had me hooked from the very beginning. I really enjoyed these characters. They are so different but when put together make for a very fun read that I couldn’t put down. I would highly recommend this story!
What was not to love about Persy and Ford. They were incredible, funny, just everything. Their bangers are laughing out loud funny. On paper they were so different but together it was the opposite they were perfect for each other. They met when she became his neighbor but it was such a confusion and that’s where the adventure begins. He’s a recluse and she’s outgoing. He hates social media and she lives of a blog and posting her life on social media. But what made this so beautiful was that they saw each other. They got to know each other on the most unique way and it was cute and adorable. Their ending was beautiful and her family welcomed him from the beginning even before they became a thing and his twin brother and him were each other’s best friend and had each other’s backs. Loved it!!!!
Wrong Text Right Love, the latest romance novel from Claudia Burgoa, is a flirty slow burn romance that you will enjoy reading. This romantic comedy had witty banter, interesting characters, and an engaging storyline and I was hooked until the end. It was fun and refreshing and these characters will capture your attention and they will have you laughing aloud. You will enjoy seeing how the sassy, loud heroine and the broody, grumpy tech nerd hero, two totally different individuals, make their way towards each other. This story about finding love when you least expect it was a good read and I would recommend it to all lovers of contemporary romance.
Wrong Text, Right Love by Claudia Y. Burgoa was a fun slow burn rom-com with all kinds of feels. Persy is an influencer and relationship guru, but her own love life is currently lacking. She is caring and likable but does not trust easily. When she sends a drunken text to her ex, it goes to the wrong person, but could he be the right person? Ford is cranky and not as likable and does not believe in love. I absolutely loved their witty back and forth and their journey will enchant you.
Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.
Happy reading!
What a cute concept!! Wrong Text, Right Love kept me completely entertained. I laughed just as many times as I swooned, it was the perfect rom-com!!
Persy’s life revolved around social media, she was paid to talk about sex and relationships. Too bad her own love life was non existent.
During a low point after one too many drinks she decided to text her ex. Normally, nothing good would come of that but she typed a number wrong…that number just happened to be a man she started becoming attached to the longer the “talked”.
When he said they should meet, would she not like who he really was or would what started out as the wrong text turn into love?
So funny!! It’s hard to say much without giving any thing away! I can say I absolutely enjoyed it! The way that Claudia allowed their relationship to grow, was perfection!
Wrong Text, Right Love by Claudia Burgoa is a sweet, sexy fun story about a sexy, social sexiolgist and the hot, nerdy grumpy tech guy who lives next door.
An opposites attract from the start. Persy (Persephone) trying to keep her career from going under and losing a book deal. Also trying to get her life back on track from the breakup of her longtime boyfriend. When she moves in next door to the sexy, hunky, grumpy guy, she’s immediately attracted to him.
Ford a loner, someone who in his own words doesn’t like people gets an unexpected surprise when Persy shows up living next door in his brothers penthouse. And as hard as he tries he’s attracted to Persy.
Wrong Text, Right Love is a sweet and sexy story. I was hooked from the start and found myself laughing so hard with these two. Plus the secondary characters bring this story to life. A romance about finding love when you least expect it.
I was so excited to pick this book up and read it! The premise of this story is so different from what Claudia Burgoa usually writes that the synopsis had me very intrigued, to say the least. I absolutely loved this story, while usually I enjoy a lot of steamy scenes, this story did not have that, but the comedy throughout this story made up for the lack of steam! This was just the right mixture of romance and comedy with a very slow burn to it! But trust me, it was all worth it by the end of the story!! I cannot wait to see what Claudia Burgoa releases next!
This was a cute story. I loved it. For me it was great to see how opposites attract. The texting between 2 strangers were hilarious but cute. I highly recommend this book. As they say sorry wrong text but that wrong text turned into the right love for 2 souls. I hope to see more from the other characters.
Wrong Text, Right Love was one of those books that just kept getting better and better the more I read. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
The book was well written, the story line entertaining and the slow burn chemistry HOT.
I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.
Slow burn with lots of humor & heart!
I’ve been trying to get back to this read since I started it last week because I was enjoying it so much.
Just the right amount of feels and fun for me in this one. Both our hero and our heroine have similar trust issues, but one has become the reclusive grump and the other keeps trying to open herself up despite the risks.
I so relate to our heroine, Persy. Her dating perils are at once sad and hilarious. On one hand, she is open. Honest. Communicates. Adventurous. Passionate. Those who love her want her to find someone who appreciates her for who she is and doesn’t want to change her. Or take advantage. She intimidates many, or they simply think she’ll be kinky fun. And she wants more than to just be the fun.
And then we have the grumpy, reclusive hero who swears he doesn’t need love. It doesn’t exist for him. Little does he expect to find himself drawn into this noisy, colorful woman’s world and he doesn’t go running for the hills. He keeps getting closer and closer. And really, they share a lot of the same views. Except for love. Until he realizes, finally, that maybe there is one for him after all.
Of course, it isn’t straight forward. We have some wrong number texts that create some confusion for our potential lovebirds. As well as crazy families, which Claudia does so well!! A curious kitty with a lot of attitude. And a blossoming, slow burn romance that absolutely enchanted me.
I loved this book!!
I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Persephone (persy) is this big phenomenon that helps people find their happiness and love along the way but she realizes while she’s bringing happiness to others, she herself is not happy. There’s something missing in her past relationships and when she thinks everything is going smoothly she gets dumped.
Meanwhile, Ford (Lang) seems to think he’s happy with his life, avoiding people at all cost except his brother and best friend. Until he meets Persy and his world is turn upside down.
This was different from Claudia’s books, it took me sometime to get into but overall the best is at the end.
Wrong Text, Right Love by Claudia Burgoa is a slow burn, contemporary, billionaire, romantic comedy told in first person dual POV. Tropes included are forced proximity, mistaken identity, and enemies to friends to lovers.
When self-help author and social media influencer, Persy, moves into a new penthouse apartment and meets her hot neighbor, they start off on the wrong foot. Ford is a grumpy, reclusive, workaholic who likes his peace and quiet, and he’s not happy about having a noisy new neighbor – not even a gorgeous one.
As they butt heads with each other, a relationship develops that just might be exactly what they both need. But Percy’s torn. She met Lang when she accidently sent him a drunk text and they’ve been texting ever since. Neither Ford nor Lang are the types to settle down, but she’s developing feelings for both.
What will Persy do? Who will she choose? Ford, Lang, or neither? Will she ever meet Lang face to face? And what secret has Ford been hiding? Read the book to find out.
I enjoyed Persy’s story. I loved the witty banter between her and Ford, and the texting between her and Lang. The story deals with the struggles of life in the public eye and how that affects relationships with family, friends, and romantic interests. Overall, the tone is lighthearted and fun.
*** I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC. ***
enjoyed this book but that doesn’t surprise me Claudia hasn’t written a bad book yet.
I enjoyed the texting between them so they can get to know each other before they met
Persy writes reviews for products including sex toys and is a therapist and very out going
Ford is the hot grumpy guy next door and likes his privacy but persy grows on him and they start hanging out not know they are texting each other
Book has a happy ending
This brilliant RomCom was another tribute to Claudia Burgoa’s versatility in writing. I didn’t think she could top Maybe Later, which had me in stitches half of the time and swooning over Jack Spearman the other half! Well, Langford Chadwick gives him a run for his money! The grumpy neighbor to Persephone (Persy) Brassard is a handsome devil, a tech genius, and a hermit due to people always trying to take advantage of him. His twin Nate and stepbrother Clyde are some of the few people who know his whereabouts. Clyde is married to Persy’s agent, Sheila, who is one of her oldest friends.
Persy is the antithesis of everything Ford wants as a neighbor. She is a therapist and has a popular Podcast and blog where she is a Media Influencer. She gives self help, sex and dating tips. She lives life loud, colorfully, and bold. Persy and Ford slowly chip away at their preconceived impressions of each other and form an unlikely friendship. As Ford gets into her Podcasts, I was amazed at the transformation of these two! And the slow burn! Scorching!!!
Persy drunk texts her old boyfriend but mistakenly texts the wrong number. She begins a text-relationship with Mr Wrong Text and I loved the witty banter between them! This book was amazing! I loved Persy’s crazy, loving family and finding out the truth about people really hurts sometimes. This book had everything!! I LOVED it!!
I wish I could rate more than just Five Stars!! And I am excited to hear we will get a book about Nate!
Persy has a interesting job, loves her life but is missing someone to share her life. After another horrible break up, she’s rethinking her choices in men. Ford is a man who loves having a great time but isn’t looking for a relationship. He can’t deny his attraction but is he willing to try a relationship? Is Persy willing to just have fun?
I am in love with this story. Persy is everything that Ford can’t stand but she and her cat, somehow burrow under his skin until he can’t stand to be away from her. Persy and Ford are so opposite but they bring out the best in each other even while driving each other crazy. Their relationship really starts to bloom as texting strangers (because fate). We readers get to watch both of them unknowingly question, grow and learn from each other. This is a fun “meet-cute” story that will have you chuckling and swooning.
Have you ever read a book that just flowed so smoothly? That’s how I feel about this book. It flowed smooth enough that I didn’t have a difficult time reading it and didn’t want it to end. I am glad I got to enjoy this colorful ride. It was fun, sweet and so realistic. Persy is a social media influncer with her own blog and podcast. She’s also a certified therapist and not afraid to delve into the hard topics. I loved reading her podcasts, especially when Ford kept interrupting her. Ford is a mystery throughout the beginning (and I’m gonna leave him that way as it adds to his story). We know him as a smart grump who doesn’t believe in love. He gets under Persy’s skin all the time, as she does to him. However at the same time these two are slowly falling in love. Then we get to the text messages because of a number gone wrong. I loved reading their texts. I didn’t understand how they couldn’t see the similarities between their real live friendship and their texts but then again maybe they didn’t want to. These two are a force and I absolutely loved them, especially Persy. People never cared to see her for who she really was. I was also appalled with what her agent did and I I didn’t blame her for breaking down and wanting closure.
I have not found a book by this author that I haven’t loved. This was no exception. I’m glad I read it as I highly enjoyed it and recommend that other people give it a try too. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*
I haven’t read such a good book in a while! I loved Persy and Ford! They were amazing characters! All their interactions, whether in person, over text or on her pod cast, were very entertaining! I loved the texts between Lang and Joy! It was such a fun read! It’s a book I didn’t want to end! The secondary characters were absolutely amazing! I hope to see more of their stories in the future!
If you want a very entertaining, fun and sexy read then want to read Wrong Text, Right Love. You won’t be disappointed!
If you are looking for a light hearted romantic comedy, with a little bit of mistaken identity this book is perfect for you.
This book is so good. It is a quick and fun read. The characters are absolutely amazing. I loved Persy so much. I loved that while she was an influencer and for the most part her life was very public, she still kept her true self private. Ford/Chad was very much a misunderstood man. I loved how Persy helped him open up and learn to let people back in. Not everyone is out to get something from you.
Persy is a social media influencer and quite a successful one. When her book contract leads to stipulations she’s not so sure she likes. With a year to write she heads back to live near her family. Yet not too close, her agent finds her a condo to rent. Next to a man who is annoyed by her very presence. This book is the story of Persy and Ford. How they learn to trust and maybe even Love one another. I very much enjoyed this story!
