Gypsy Bradbury was never destined for great things. Or at least that’s what she’d convinced herself of. Growing up on the wrong side of the tracks, she had learned that hoping for more was a waste of time. Then Marco forced his way into her life and gave her a glimpse of a future brighter than any she could have imagined. But if her past taught her anything, it was that if something seemed too … good to be true… it probably was.
The promise of a quiet, simple life was what drew Marco Castillo to Hope Valley. After experiencing war and death first hand, he was looking for something easy. Then he met a woman with guarded eyes and the most beautiful smile he’d ever seen. The only problem was she came with more baggage than a 747.
There is nothing easy about Gypsy, but Marco knows without a doubt that the promise of her is well worth the effort. She’s the strongest, bravest woman he’s ever met, and when the life she’s fought to build for her and her family is threatened, Marco is determined to win that battle for her. Whether Gypsy wants his help or not.

Oh My God !!!! This book is so amazing !!!! I have no words to describe how much. Maybe I will sound little boring, and maybe I’m repeating myself … but I’m so in love with Hope Valley and The Wrong Side of Tracks !!!! I was sure it will be good book, because it’s Jessica’s Prince BABY…. however I didn’t expected this kind of emotionally level… I didn’t read this book – I devorued every word, without looking around too much.
Coming back to Hope Valley, Gipsy, Marco and other people is always like coming back home, coming back to my best friends and family… specially, that Gipsy and Marco are wonderfull together!!! I was sure, that their book will be awesome !!! It was steamy love story, with really hard things in the background…. but with the right dose of drama.
Gypsy and Marco capitaved my heart from the begining- it was hard to watch how they struggle with their own demons, however… they managed them perfectly together!!! Gipsy is brave and caring and loving… Marco… is such a man (gah I’m still melting…. and my head doesnt want to work too much). I could feel energy, chemistry between them, their love and passion and everything!!!!
ABSOLUTELY must read!
Marco is so delicious!! He knew Gypsy was worth everything and made it his mission to show her. Gypsy fought it hard, protecting her heart until she realized Marco didn’t want to take from her; he wanted to give her and the kids the world. This was my favorite so far from the Hope Valley books!
What a great read! The writing flowed well from start to finish, and I’m SO excited Marco finally got his HEA! Marco and Gypsy had great chemistry, even if Gypsy was too stubborn to see it. Marco was a great alpha male, who protected those he thought of as his. I loved that he treated Gypsy’s family as his own. I did have my moments where I wanted to smack Gypsy. She was stubborn to a fault, and refused to believe that Marco was a good man. I was relieved that it didn’t take her too long to see the error of her ways. The ending was great, and I even shed a few tears. The stories in this series just keep getting better and better. I can’t wait to see what’s next!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.
Jessica Prince never disappoints, Wrong Side of the Tracks was another amazing book. I loved the story, the characters, and loved how it just had me swooning!!
Gypsy is someone who I really liked, she struggles to see her worth. She is strong and very independent. I loved that Marco came in and changed her thoughts and life. Marco was amazing, he did things for himself and didn’t care about what others thought. I loved how he fought to make Gypsy see her worth. Gypsy had this passion inside herself that I loved, she might have a hard time seeing her worth, but she never ever gives up.
The chemistry between Marco and Gypsy was FIRE!!!! I loved how Marco didn’t back away, didn’t stand down, he fought for what he wanted….. and what he wanted was Gypsy. This is a good book that will have you wanting more. Like I said, Jessica Prince never disappoints.
Goodness me, I feel like I’ve been watching, waiting for Marco and Gypsy to stop playing coy and making goo goo eyes at each other. To finally man (or woman) up and go for it—to give their intense connection a chance to grow into something more, something real.
And in Wrong Side of the Tracks they finally do. And, O.M.G. it’s everything I wanted for them and more.
I loved seeing Gypsy with her siblings. Loving them as if they were her own children—doing the absolute best she can to make sure they each have everything they need to grow up to be whatever the want to be. She sacrifices everything for her five siblings—and those siblings are fiercely protective of Gypsy too. I envied their closeness, their love for each other. And that love only intensified once Marco stepped into the picture.
**fans self** Marco. Damn. He’s finally going after the woman he’s wanted for so long. He’s bound and determined to protect her, to love her, and to love her siblings. To make sure Gypsy’s taken care of, just like she takes care of her brothers and sisters. And, wowza, is it amazing.
I couldn’t read Wrong Side of the Tracks fast enough to make sure Gypsy and Marco and the kids got the happily ever after they so wanted and deserved. But I also savored every word. I loved the relationship that blossomed between Marco and Gypsy. It was smart, sexy, tender, swoony and so very romantic. And don’t get me started on the love that developed between Marco and the kids. Seriously, men and kids? Panty-melting, swoony awesomeness.
This Hope Valley series just keeps getting better and better. And I cannot wait for more! ~ Missy, 5 “Sunflower” stars
I was on the fence with this series but each book gets better & better! Gypsy is strong, had to grow up way too quickly. I couldn’t wait to read her hea & couldn’t wait to see the type of guy that has to win her over. Marco is a fantastic way for her. He was sweet, strong & he went after what he wanted. She needed someone that would force himself into her life & never leave. The way he works himself into her life like he should have been there all along.
Great couple!! I highly recommend this book. Told in dual POV.
Wrong Side of the Tracks
5 Stars ++++
Amazing! Loved! So many feels! Wow! Kept my interest throughout. Very very good!
“Unfortunately, life wasn’t always fair, and good things weren’t a guarantee.”
Can be read as a standalone but highly recommend reading the other books in the series! Sooo good!!
This latest book solidifies my belief that the Hope Valley series is the best one this author has written to date. Gypsy is a good person, through and through, who’s just just trying to do right by her siblings. She knows what most people think or see when they look her way, but she can’t let that hurt her too much, as long as her siblings end up with a better life than she’s ever had. Marco is a man who sees exactly who Gypsy truly is at her core, and he’s determined to bust through her walls to give her the life and love she deserves. Marco’s mission of “get through to my woman” is definitely an uphill one, but he proves to Gypsy and her siblings that he’s not to be dismissed as just another person who will walk away. In turn, Gypsy and her siblings give Marco something he didn’t even realize he was missing: unconditional love, family, and a sense of home. Their story was emotional and beautiful at the same time and now I can’t wait to see what come next for the residents of Hope Valley.
I am beginning to think Hope Valley is my favorite series so far this year, all the stories and characters have been fantastic and I am so happy to say that Gypsy and Marco’s story is as good if not better than the first 3. Jessica Prince has definitely outdone herself – again.
Gypsy is just trying to make it work – trying to take care of her siblings is more than a full-time job its her whole life. After being let down time and time again she doesn’t have time for anything or anyone that is not her family and small circle of friends – no matter how sexy they are. That being said Marco who has been looking toward her for a while now is not only sexy but takes alpha male to the next level. To top it off he accepts her and her family unconditionally – can she now trust him after so many people let her down.
I absolutely loved the story, the characters from beginning to end. Ms. Prince sucks you in from the first page and doesn’t let up until the end. This is definitely Gypsy’s and Marco’s story from being to end but we do get to see her great family and a few old friends from Hope Valley. Its a fast paced story so don’t be surprised if you finish it in a night – I did and I can’t wait to go back to Hope Valley!
Wrong Side of the Tracks by Jessica Prince is one beautiful and emotional read. Gypsy & Marco’s story will move you with it’s beauty, steam, and love.
Marco is the Alpha male you dream of, Gypsy is such a strong and sweet woman that you want to have in your corner. These two make this story poignant, at times heartbreaking, amazing, sweet, with some spice and heat, add some drama with heart and chemistry which is a beautifully written story. Marco and Gypsy are THE couple that make this book shine. There are secondary characters that add to the story and are ones to watch for in upcoming books. The Hope Valley series is awesome and I can’t wait to read what’s next!!!
My Rating: 4.8 stars *******
What an incredible journey Jessica Prince takes you on in this read featuring Marco and Gypsy! I loved every minute of this book and felt more and more pulled into their world with each chapter. Gypsy has to be one of the most bad-ass heroines ever written. Her resilience and resolve was unmatched. What she’d overcome in order to keep her family afloat is nothing short of extraordinary! The fact that no matter how many times life knocked her down, she always dusted herself off, raised her chin up high and pushed on warmed my heart and made me cheer for her. Such a strong and fierce character, which made for the perfect match for Marco. A broody, reserved, hard working man who wasn’t looking for anything serious but found everything he never knew he needed in his beautiful girasol.
The chemistry between these two was absolutely tangible! So much fire and spark. Every encounter between Marco and Gypsy was a battle of wills. But you can only deny yourself for so long. When that invisible dam broke, holy moly!
This book was filled with such intense emotion, suspense, traumatic heartbreak, love and unwavering friendship. So much packed into one pretty small-town romance package. I’d rate this 10 stars if allowed. This book had everything and then some.
I received a review copy of this book before release for an honest review.
This is book 4 in the series and I really loved it so much which I found surprising as Gypsy is a stripper and I don’t tend to like romances with strippers as the heroine. I think one reason is that Gypsy has no education and barely any skills except she is beautiful and to take care of her 5 brothers and sisters she works three jobs and one is a stripper at the town club.
However things change and get my stressful when the club is sold to a drug dealer in town and he fixates in Gypsy. That’s when Marcus gets involved with Gypsy and tries to protect her.
Marcus, is our hero and he is a hero to Gypsy and her family. I loved Gypsy’s siblings they really enrich this story. I also loved how Marcus falls hard for G and her entire family.
This was a wonderful story about a very strong woman and the man who loves her and sees her. If you have never read this series, you totally should. Every single book is wonderful. That said this story also easily stands alone as this is the first time we really get involved in Gypsy and Marcus’ life.
Jessica Prince is a master at steamy small town romance and this one starts off with a bang! There is no denying the sizzling hot chemistry between Gypsy and Marco. Gah! They are are perfect for each other! I’d been wanting more of Marco after reading Consume and am so happy to see him find “the one”. I love Gypsy’s take no sh*t attitude and her generous heart towards her family & friends. This was one of the sweetest love stories! You can’t help but fall in love with all the Bradbury kids! I can’t wait for the next Hope Valley romance!!
Wrong Side of the Tracks by Jessica Prince is exactly what a favorite romance of mine would be like. I am swooning , dying and gushing over the super possessive and uber bossy hero. I am straight in love with the strong, sassy and amazing heroine. And the sizzling hot, soothing and heartwarming chemistry is giving me ALL THE FEELS. I didn’t want it to end! Because I am not ready to leave Marco, Gypsy, the adorable kids, the loyal friends and the little piece of heaven called Hope Valley behind!
Jessica Prince has nailed my alpha man type. I haven’t read about a sexy, brooding and intense man like Marco in a long time. When he starts talking, I never want him to stop. I mean he could do nothing but just keep on talking in his protective, sometimes pissed off, sometimes aroused, sometimes hilarious and always excessively arrogant cocky way and I won’t mind at all. He is one of my all time favorite book boyfriend now. And an alpha needs a woman equally brilliant. Gypsy filled up the shoe and then some. She is literally carrying burden of her five siblings, disappointment from people she loved and trusted and every kind of negative feelings. But her honest, sincere and compassionate heart beyond the walls is easily one of the most beautiful thing ever. She may think they are different but Marco has his own scars and wounds.
The storyline is simple yet effectively engaging. Marco and Gypsy ‘s life is about to get complicated when Malachi Black , the most notorious criminal buys the strip club where Gypsy works. He has his eyes on Gypsy and Marco with his team at Alpha Omega investigation have eyes on him. A cat and mouse game entwined with an extremely emotional love story. The slow burn was literally killing me as Gypsy was being her stubborn self to protect herself and her family. And Marco refused to let go. The push and pull was so sweet and hot. The writing is absoultely spot on. Jessica Prince wrote some seriously awe inspiring prose those made me go WOW all the freaking time.
Do you need a love story to fall in love with the characters instantly? Do you need a love story to make you feel warm, soft and excited at the same time? Do you need a love story with epic, angsty and heartbreaking brilliance? Wrong Side of the Tracks by Jessica Prince is your answer wrapped in one!
Received ARC for Honest Review
Holy Marco! I knew I loved this guy when I read about him previously and now I am totally head over heals in love with him after reading this book! And Gypsy? Well, she totally stole my heart with her loyalty and heart of gold! This book was fantastic and had all the feels! A great a Alpha, a sting heroine and visits from characters in other books! I keep saying this but with every Hope valley book, this authors stories just keep getting better and better! You will love this book!
This book has all of the feels in it. I adore Marco and Gypsy. Marco is a true hero for taking on someone who doesn’t feel they are worth anything, and then turning that someone into seeing her worth. This can be a stand-alone, but seriously, you should read the other books in the series as they set the background for your Gypsy knowledge. Jessica Prince readers will love catching up with some Civil Corruption as well since that is where we first met Marco. I’m not going to lie, this book made me cry several times. Some were happy tears, but most were empathy tears for the horrible hand that Gypsy was dealt. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger.
This may be the Wrong Side of the Tracks but it was all RIGHT for me! I am ready to move on over to Hope Valley! That town may have a lot of drama going on lately, but oh boy are the men F.I.N.E. And the women there – are all strong women to be admired. And the way they stand by their friends… that’s just a place I’d like to be a part of!
Gypsy has had such a hard life. But she never quits, she just digs in and fights a little longer. She is raising her five siblings and their needs come before everything else. Gypsy’s walls are sky high from all she has dealt with. The one thing she has never been comfortable with is asking for help. Letting someone else shoulder some of her burdens. Well, Marco is here now to shatter those walls.
We have been waiting for Marco to get his story since way back in Jessica Prince’s Civil Corruption series. Let me tell you, the wait did NOT disappoint. Marco melted my panties! This man is everything you could dream of. He is sexy, strong, true, will fight for you and for the whipped cream on his delicious sundae — he is amazing with kids!
Wrong Side of the Tracks is a sexy, moving, small town romance that you do not want to miss!
I fell in love with Gypsy and Marco’s story in Wrong Side of the Tracks! Gypsy was a true bad*ss heroine who is strong and loyal to her family. Gypsy has taken the life she was given and made the best out of it. Everything she does is for her family and you see how fierce her love is for them. Marco is ALL alpha male and determined to show Gypsy her worth.
Gypsy and Marco’s banter, the kids, the friends, and the storyline had me invested from start to finish. I loved watching their relationship grow and also watch Gypsy flourish into an even stronger woman with the love of a good man behind her.
I truly loved this book and the entire Hope Valley Series!
The fourth book in the series and Jessica Prince is still rocking the Hope Valley scene. Marco and Gypsy were both the quiet types. I did not have an opinion of them as it was hard to get a read on them from the other stories. As I began reading Wrong Side of the Tracks my heart just melted for these two and their difficult pasts. It was refreshing that you not only were given the story of their relationship but also the thoughts and feelings of Gypsy’s siblings as well because they all came as a package. I just wanted to wrap them all in my arms and take care of them. It was story filled with angst and love and a whole lot of patience and yes of course the Jessica Prince trademark steam but you really just wanted to jump in there and help them through all the trials. I would have to say one of your most endearing in this series and I can hardly wait for the next one as I never want to leave Hope Valley!
