She meant to call the help-line during a panic attack and accidentally dialed Jack Raze……
Prone to panic attacks, Rebecca dials the suicide hotline with an episode one night. After the person finally manages to talk her down, he informs her he isn’t a hotline worker at all, he’s David, a random man woken out of a dead sleep to a woman on the ledge.
After a bizarre and entertaining exchange, … exchange, David realizes he doesn’t want to stop talking to his new friend– sweet and naive as they come. He convinces her she owes him at least a picture of herself for the inconvenience, and the moment he sees her, it’s decided–he has to have her.
When he learns she’s a book-a-holic, he divulges his profession as an erotic romance author– Jack Raze– who just so happens to be in dire need of a new editor. As fate would have it, it’s her dream job come true, but for David, or in this case Jack Raze, she’s an erotic fantasy he’s been craving to indulge in.

I do not think I have ever wanted to change my name to Lizzy and dial up a wrong number as much as I would like to right now.
You will need an air conditioner on when you read this book as it is a scorcher! Lizzy and Jack’s chemistry is off the charts thanks to the wonderful writing style of Lucian Bane.
Lucian truly puts great emotion into his characters. I could feel Lizzy’s anxiety and unease as I was reading. Jack at first made me want to punch my kindle. I thought he was going to be the king of all slimeballs. Thankfully, he won me over. I also cannot forget about Auntie. Such a great motherly figure who genuinely wants the best for Lizzy. We should all have a family member like her looking out for us in our life.
I highly recommend this book. Those who enjoy a sexy read with some mystery, laughs, a touch of sadistic tendencies and an HEA will thoroughly enjoy Wrong Number.
You want a story that starts off as a fiery inferno, with characters that capture your heart. Then welcome to Lizzy & Mr Raze’s love story. Oh and fair warning. There are some twists to keep you on your toes. This book will
change your opinion on those pesky wrong number calls.
Wrong Number is an original and unique tale of dialing a wrong phone number and ending up in an accidental relationship between Lizzy and David/Jack. This psychological romance draws you into the story immediately with its original and unique plot, sizzling chemistry, banter, and excellent writing.

Possible spoilers: I really feel like Lizzy plays a game of hide and seek with David/Jack. She keeps little pieces of herself hidden but gives him crumbs. I feel that he is manipulative and almost dangerous. I love the build up. It is definitely steamy and somewhat outside my comfort zone. Obviously Lisa is vicious and hateful. The book is well written and easy to follow. The characters absolutely come to life.

Who knew dialing a wrong number while having a panic attack would change your life forever. I loved Lizzy and Jack and how they took their accidental relationship to a whole new level. The writing is great, the story is steamy and the characters are hot. I can’t wait to read the next steamy Lucian Bane book.
This is my first read from this author and I found it really entertaining. I thought it was a trip that a wrong number could lead to so many possibilities.

I have to say, it takes a special person to know how to handle certain tendencies and issues (psychological).
This book had me going back and forth. I’m in need of of a massage… (lol, if you’ve read this book you know what I mean).
I’m looking forward to seeing so much more from LB.

The two main characters have flaws to them that each other seems able to fill and their chemistry is off the charts. It’s a wonderfully written book with amazing steamy scenes.

For the most part, I liked this story. It was entertaining even though there were several things I wasn’t comfortable with. The characters turned out to be pretty awesome (again, for the most part). I’m glad that Lisa and Scott received some comeuppance for their actions against David and Lizzy. I’m not really a fan of BDSM books and if I’d realized that was part of this book, I wouldn’t have read it and that would have made me miss out on a good story. There are things that I’m not comfortable with, in it but I didn’t feel like it was all BDSM and no other relationship. David (Mr. Raze) came off to me as not really sure that what he wanted was “normal”. Lizzy (Becky) didn’t feel like she deserved good things so even if he ended up being a serial killer, she was going to chance it. I felt like you could tell that they were in love with each other a lot sooner than they did. I liked how the story ended, but I would have liked an epilogue because I’m greedy like that. I recommend reading this book.

To Right a Terrible Wrong!
by sewsummore
David was an author of erotic fiction for women, yet he was a man with no female in his life apart from his stepsister, who was also his editor. He wrote about romance, but there was no romance in his life, only convenient call girls when the need arose. Then late at night, he received a wrong-number call that changed his life. A woman who was prone to panic attacks called, her name was Becky, and she was close to hysterical, fearing she had taken an overdose. Becky thought she was talking to the helpline operator, and after she calmed down, they continued to chat. It was while they were talking about his career as a writer and his need an editor. When he learned she was an editor, he offered her a job starting the next day. That was the beginning of a beautiful relationship. He had felt drawn to Becky while talking to her; in the flesh, he was captivated. He taught her control and obedience, while her honesty and beauty drove him mad with desire. I enjoyed reading this book, David and Becky had chemistry between them that was both intense and controlling. However, Becky had a painful past that needed to be expunged, and David intended to ensure that the guilty paid for their crimes. The only thing missing from this book was an epilogue telling of their future!

A wrong number that becomes oh so right!
Lucian pulls you in quickly to Lizzy’s life that misdials the suicide hotline during her panic attack and gets David, a hidden romantica writer on the other end of the line. David talks her down and the connection between the two over the phone is instant and witty. Before they are done talking, David offers Lizzy a job as his new editor. You will enjoy how David tests Lizzy and how Lizzy reacts. Their newfound relationship will be tested by David’s sister, and you will be rooting for their happily ever after!
When a wrong number turns into the right call it can only be fate. Lizzy is prone to panic attacks and in the midst of having one she mis-dialed and changed her life. When David is awakened y a frantic woman claiming to have overdosed on children’s medicine he is strangely intrigued. Was this a mistake or a blessing in disguise?
I loved it. It was dark, mysterious and exotic. The characters were well written and the story was intriguing. I do wish there were more about what happened to Lisa and Scott.

Started out with a wrong number, calming the person down to breath normally! I thought it was funny the banter between the characters for the first time talking to each other. But holy of all holy, hold on tight and read the book!

Wrong Number is my first read by Lucian Bane and I loved it. Lizzy and David’s story is erotic, passionate, and beautiful. There’s a bit of humor and a ton of steam. The writing is great and the likable characters have incredible chemistry. It doesn’t delve into David’s background much but Lizzy’s heartbreaking back story certainly explains the panic attacks that lead her to David through a misdialed phone number. I was completely captivated by this erotic love story and look forward to reading more by this author.

WRONG NUMBER By Lucian Bane
Holy Smokes! I thought my kindle was going to combust this book is so hot!! This is my 1st book by Lucian Bane but will certainly not be my last! When a wrong number called in an emergency leads to a meeting between strangers, their lives will change forever. This is a very well written story with an amazing amount of attraction, drama, mystery, bdsm, twists, and turns. I highly recommend this book if you like things on the spicier side! Definitely a 5 star book!

I wish I was as eloquent as Lucien Bane writing this review but sadly I am not. The first impression I got from the first few pages was that Lizzy was young and bit over the top but very good with the English Language. David meanwhile came over as a young ordinary person but helpful and accommodating whilst Lizzy was having her panic attack. Wrong. Lizzy was quite outspoken and said the first thing that came into her mind. David was quite another kettle of fish. He was all in control and totally alpha. I had to laugh out loud when she was reading the manuscript to the book it was totally funny and I just loved Lizzy’s character. Now David was very up front in the sex department and this brings me deliciously to talk about the sex. There was plenty of it! Now sometimes when I read a book and there is sex on every page I do tend to go sex blind and skip a few pages. This was not the case in this one. Oh no. Although there was plenty of raunchy sex it was in context if you know what I mean and this brought out the inner characters. There was also a good story running through and the retribution at the end was totally delicious. A thoroughly enjoyable read and I recommend it wholeheartedly to those who like a darkish sexy story.

Can I say that I was shocked that a man wrote this? All my fantasies and come to find out a man’s mind can be just as dirty and descriptive – two very important must haves for a very good kinky read.
I want you to know that I’m not trying to be sexist in any way. This story was eye-opening for me. It wasn’t smut with bimbos and short sentences. It was well-thoughtout and the characters had depth. Even the scenes for the characters were not only steamy but so very descriptive that you were there with David (Jake) and Lizzy (Beth).
I loved how real and authentic they felt too. Some of the things that David went through as a writer makes me wonder if he goes through some of it, hmmmm ??? So folks, this is a super cute, steamy read that you definitely want to wait to read at home (be careful listen ing to it at work as I can attest to ).

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Wow Lizzy having an episode to ring the wrong number. David/Jack answered the phone, he was talking to someone he did not know. They ended up becoming friends really quickly, it was so hot and steamy.

Wrong Number is a riveting story of Lizzy who calls the wrong number when she has a panic attack. Instead, she gets David aka Mr. Raze who falls into lust with her quirkiness. The chemistry between Lizzy and David was steamy hot as were their intimate scenes. One of the best parts of this was the conversations between the two, often making me smile or laugh. There were also a lot of heart-breaking moments in the story, as well as some cringe-worthy parts. This book was entertaining from start to finish as David and Lizzy had to navigate through lies, past hurts, family and an assortment of misunderstanding to reach their HEA. Wrong Number is definitely a book you will want to read!
