So wrong it’s right… growing her confidence in their texts and calls—and it even starts spilling out into her everyday life. Part of her revels in her secret life—but part of her secretly wishes for more.
They never share more than first names, but each texting encounter gets hotter and hotter—and more intimate than either of them ever imagined. But you can’t trust a stranger on the phone. Not really. You can’t ache for something you’ve never had. And you certainly can’t fall in love with someone you’ve never even met, can you?
Author Confession: Welcome to Brazen Bay, a small town I crafted just to explore that feeling of so wrong it’s right. Just because something is forbidden or taboo doesn’t make it wrong, does it? (You’d have to see the pictures on their phones to answer that.) Gruff Leo and sweet Dixie are perfect strangers and perfectly naughty when they let their guards down with someone for the first time. What starts as an innocent wrong number turns into something much more daring. Bonus points if you read this wrong number romance on your phone.

This story is a very quick, naughty, steamy but sweet story about Leo a firefighter and Dixie a librarian. Dixie starts of sending a wrong text to Leo and these texts really quickly becomes steamy sexts. At a point in the book they begin talking on the phone but they still haven’t seen each other. The first time they see each other is at a baby shower and they figure out they have more in common than they thought. Can they both se beyond their insecurities and let themselves fall in love?
Leo is a 38 year old firefighter and a definite alpha male very protective and a real hothead but when he falls in love he becomes a real teddy bear so sweet and will do anything for Dixie.
Dixie is a very insecure librarian and she never goes out and keeps to herself. After she starts talking to Leo, she comes out of her shell and becomes more sensual and trust herself and others more.
They are so cute together and the other characters in the book really adds to the funny but also tough small town life.
I can definitely recommend this book.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Loved this story. This is the first time I have read from this author and I can’t wait for the next one to come out. Leo is a captain in the local fire department. He is single and not ready to mingle. He gets a text from Dixie asking when he was going to fix her car. He explains that she has the wrong number. This starts their long conversation using text then down the road voice. At this point they haven’t met yet. And when she learns of his occupation she breaks up with him. Leo is devasted and goes to a party. He is introduced to a gorgeous women who name happens to be Dixie. How many Dixie’s can you run into?
This is a fine romance that is quite fun to read, it is also sweet and short. If you are looking for a story to read in an afternoon or in an evening this one might just be the story for you. This is one of the stories that doesn´t have a villain which I find can often times be refreshing. This story is just really easy to read and is a quick read as well. The storyline as condensed as the book is, is actually pretty good. I can at least really recommend this one and am giving it beautiful four stars.

I can’t even tell you how much I loved Leo and Dixie. They have such a cute fun start. I honestly couldn’t find anything wrong with this book other than I wanted more. Can’t wait to read the rest in the series.
Leo and Dixie are truly meant to be!
I absolutely fell in love with this book. I love the way the characters related to each other through the text messages, I love the way they finally (finally!) meet, and I love the emotional depth that envelopes them and gave me a serious case of the warm fuzzies.
The author doesn’t shy away from the hard questions here either, shining a light on the true nature of Leo’s job without offering an unrealistic conflict-free solution for Dixie. The characters are all so beautifully developed, even the secondary characters, that I fairly leapt for joy when I found out the author is continuing to write in this wonderful fictional world. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
