Everything about him spells trouble. Unfortunately, everything about him spells temptation, too… times.
It’s just too bad he’s got to open his mouth sometimes too.
I wish my best friend would get that through her head.
I don’t care if she thinks Nick’s best friend is the one. I don’t care that she has some fantasy about us all getting married and having kids together.
It’s not going to happen.
I’m pretty set on the idea that Nick is the last person I would ever sleep with. Plus, I’ve seen the type he sleeps with. He’s not into the curvy type.
I guess though… If there was a chance, and if he promised to only use his mouth for things other than talking. I could make an exception just once.

This was a short and sweet story about enemies who turned to lovers. Nick and Olivia really didn’t get along, Olivia thought Nick was a shallow playboy and Nick thought Olivia was uptight and mean. When Olivia’s best friend started dated Nick’s best friend, they were bound to be around each other. Nick started to notice Olivia was not as uptight as he thought and he started noticing how beautiful she was. Olivia always thought Nick was hot, she just didn’t like his playboy ways. After a night of drinking with their friends, Nick offers to take Olivia home. On the way, she continues to tell him how much she dislikes him. Nick tries to pretend it doesn’t bother him she hated him, but he can only pretend so long. Olivia also begins to notice Nick might not be as bad as she thought. I liked this book, I liked the banter between Nick and Olivia and thought they were good together.
She could have been a bit less judgy and a lot nicer, but being ‘curvy’ and him a ‘playboy’, I can see why she is that way. Just trying to protect herself from being hurt.
He does finally see through it but then has to get her there also. Which obviously he does since we get the HEA! 😉
Excellent romantic well written story because of the arguments and relations between Cooper and Violet. She has to convince him to sell his shares of the enterprise where she works, but she has to hide her goal. What she doesn’t know is that he overheards the conversation between her and her boss and so he knows everything before she even starts. When they go in Texas for the enterprise, he lead her to his family ranch and then he’s quite hard on her.
Because of their attraction and the secret between them, we can feel the tension between them, how Cooper just tries to avoid her and how Violet is struggling with her job and her attraction to Cooper.
It was really excellent.
This was a great read. Nick and Olivia were not friends, but their friends started dating so that meant they would be spending a lot of time together. He thought she was uptight and she thought he was a player. As they spent more and more time together they realized that things were not as they seemed.
You will really enjoy this book. I know I did and it kept me up reading half of the night.
A wonderful story about olivia and nick.
The hate each other but also want to tear each others clothes off at the Same time.
A book about falling in love with your enemy and realising just because someone is portrayed one way , it doesnt always mean thats who they are.
“I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.”
I received an ARC from Ms. Aurora, and I am writing my honest review. Olivia and Nick are physically attracted to each other, but they both can not stand each other. When their best friends get married, Olivia and Nick are stuck spending every day with each other in order to plan the wedding. As they get to know each other, their mutual attraction only gets stronger. Will they give each other a chance at a happily ever after or will they go back to barely tolerating each other?
This is short story that is well written. I loved all of the characters and the story line kept my attention. The chemistry between all of the main characters is steamy. This is a great story to get your pulse going and begging for more. Thank you Ms. Aurora for allowing me to read your book. I look forward to reading more.
Nick,
Is this Olivia… ? Oh, my!
A little wine and some people’s personalities just… change.
Flirtatious, funny, wild…
Sweetly sleepy and… lonely?
Whoa boy! Keep your wits about you!
After all she just told you what she really thinks of you.
You should be insulted. You are insulted.
But maybe, just maybe she has a point… or two…
And there’s a lot of other things she has, too.
Wow! What a tangle of miscommunication and preconceived notions…
Watching them unravel was great fun!
Bottom line: Short, sweet, hot and very good! 4 stars.
I was hooked from the beginning. This story engages you from the start. It is well written. The story line was great. I loved it. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Olivia and Nick are the epitome of opposites attract. In the beginning these two bump heads with everything. When their best friends get engaged these two try to get along and when they are trapped in the pantry of their friends apartment true feelings begin to arise for these two but will it be enough for these two to see that they are perfect for each other. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
WOW OH WOW!!! AMAZING READ!!!
A smooth flowing, easy to follow, fast paced read that captured my attention from the start. With amazing characters that are down to earth and true to life. The scenes are realistic and believable. Lexi always shows just how talented she is. With an eye and mind for detail the descriptions are incredible. Lexi did a magnificent job with this read. Great job Lexi.
