A New York Times Bestselling Romantic Comedy
I have a history of picking the wrong guy. Gay? Player? Momma’s boy? Check, check and check.
Now I can’t stop fantasizing about one of the customers at the coffee shop I work at between classes. It’s just a harmless crush, right? It’s not like I ever see this guy outside of the coffee shop. It’s not like I’m going to see him while attempting to get … him while attempting to get birth control at the student clinic. While wearing a paper gown. While sitting on an exam table. Because he’s the doctor. Shoot. Me.
But what if, for once, the man I’ve had the dirtiest, most scandalous fantasies about turned out to be everything but wrong?

This steamy, hilarious, touching romance between two people who shouldn’t be together but realize they can’t be without each other is told in first-person dual POV by a story-teller with a rich, authentic, and hilarious voice. A must read!
I wasn’t sure how this one would go. The summary had me intrigued but Luke had me confused on how the story would end. Definitely was not predictable in a good way.
I very much enjoyed Sophie, Luke, as well as Sophie’s friends. Very like able characters even though I was on the fence with Luke for a good amount through.
There are quite a few hot scenes however was not tacky. This was a compulsive read so expect to not be able to put it down.
To say this book is steamy is putting it mildly. Some of it is a little over the top, but I think that’s explained by several things, Sophie is a 21 year old virgin who is still very much immature. Luke is a thirty six year old doctor and ready for long term things. At first it starts out as casual but you soon figure out that Luke is more serious about the relationship than Sophie. I would have like to have seen less dramatics by Sophie and I think the story would have flowed better with a duo pov, but that’s my opinion and doesn’t take away from my still enjoying this book.
I can’t believe I waited this long to read a Jana Anston book! I ABSOLUTELY loved Wrong!!! It had everything!!! I want more Sophie and Luke!! I couldn’t put this book down! Sophie reminded me so much of myself. I’ll forever love this story!
Wrong (Wrong Series #1) by Jana Aston is a contemporary, new adult, age-gap romance told in first person, single POV. What happens when your long-time crush ends up being the gynecologist at the student clinic? Sophie encounters this awkward scenario on her first clinic visit for birth control. And what happens when the hot doctor inserts himself into her life? They are clearly wrong for each other, but can two wrongs turn out to be right?
Overall, I enjoyed this story. It’s much raunchier than what I usually like, but I knew going in that it would be. The author warns in the blurb that it’s filthy, and she’s not exaggerating. So if you find that offensive, this book may not be for you. The writing was fast-paced with witty dialogue. I enjoyed the characters – especially the secondary ones. I’ll definitely read the rest of the series for their stories.
Loved this book!!!
I love this book! This book has me laughing throughout the book. This is a younger woman, older man book. The younger girl is a college student and the older man ends up being her gyno she finds out. I cannot wait to keep reading this series.
I read this book in one day! This is the first book I’ve read by Jana Aston and now I’m going to read more!
I was hooked from page one. From the blurb to the first chapter I had to know what happened. I had to know how everything worked out! I was happy with the ending!
Sophia drive me crazy at times but it was understood. Definitely checking out the rest of this series!
I love the heroine; she’s funny may it be while dealing with her funnier friend Everly, with her crush, with her crush’s extra mean parents, her crush’s extra crazy ex fiancee. Sophie is pure in a sense that she knows her crush’s parents and ex fiancee are being total assholes with her and still rolls with the whole lot of them nicely. So yeah, the heroine and her encounter are pretty funny and light. Idc much for the hero. He could’ve end up with Sophie or not, I. Still. Don’t. Care. He sucks. Good thing for him there is not a single mean bone with Sophie because I’m still feeling ragey about his nonchalance with Gina and his parents.
/Have read this from the Valentines Days & Nights anthology
PS ALL THE STARS ARE FOR SOPHIE AND FOR SOPHIE ONLY. kbye
A worst nightmare turned wet dream!
Since I’m going with a group of friends to MCWTB, that the lovely Jana is going to be at, we picked Wrong as one of our book club reads this month… and can I say, I’m SOO glad we did. This is my first book from Jana and now I just want to devour the whole series!
The age gape/doctor patient tabooness of this is just… yum. I literally was giggling and giddy like a teenager talking about s*x for the first time. Sophie and Luke are such a fun pair, pushing boundaries while growing together. The way he is always solid for her just… *swoon*. I will confess, I love having the guy’s point of view, so only getting a small bit at the end was sad, but I will say, that little bit only reinforced that love of Luke!
If Jana is new to you as well, this is definitely a PERFECT read to start with! I now can’t wait to meet the amazing lady behind this book.
Super cute, super hot, super fun little romcom. I enjoyed reading all the silliness and steam from no-holds-barred Sophie and dirty, dirty Dr. Miller.
Although Sophie is still new to the “dating” world she is by far naive. She is strong and independent, reasonable even, and never backs down in the face of her enemy. Luke was swoonalicious the way he was with her. (Outside the bedroom. Inside the bedroom is a whole different story. can we say yowzaaaa?!). But he always cared for her and showed his affection in every way.
This was my first Jana Aston book but now I have to leave so I can get started on the next…
3.5 Stars. It was a good quick read. It felt a little rushed, but I still liked it. I don’t usually love age gap, but this was good although a bit predictable.
I devoured this book in under two hours, Wonderful older man/younger woman series.
A steamy read, with a younger woman and older man scenario. Characters are likeable and the story is very easy to read.
There’s a little confusion as to how old Sophie’s mother was when she fell pregnant, age differed through the story.
Loved this story – it was sexy, laugh out loud and totally relatable. I loved Sophie’s inner thoughts and her dilemma with ‘socks on or off’. I loved Sophie’s friend Everly who I definitely think needs her story with the Professor. For me that is what a good book is all about you become invested and intrigued with the characters and you want to know more. Well done Jana Aston on your first book (of many i’m sure). Now go write about Professor Camden!!!
3.5 stars! This was a seriously fun, sexy read. I enjoyed the crazy relationship between Luke and Sophie and all their ups and downs. I had a good time reading it and look forward to more.
4.5 stars
Jana Aston is a new to me author and I have had Wrong on my kindle for a couple of years. I have decided that in 2019 I was going to try and read at least 2 new to me authors a month from my library. I’m so glad I choose Wrong because I loved it. I read it in one sitting and my only complaint is I wish it was longer and the ending wasn’t so rushed. Luke was a deliciously naughty dirty talker that set me on fire and Sophie was adorable. I loved how her friend teased her about being the oldest virgin but lucky her she had an awesome teacher in Luke and she was an A+ student. I look forward to reading more from this author.
Sophie Tisdale has a crush on the Luke, a frequent customer at the coffee shop she works at while going to college. When Sophie decides it is time to give up her v-card to her longtime boyfriend, she decides to get on the pill. Little does Sophie know that Luke Miller is a doctor and volunteers at the student clinic she is going to. A pap smear, a bit of embarrassed flirting, and a peaked interest on who Sophie is going to have sex with has Sophie confused. However, when Luke ends up rescuing Sophie from a bad mistake Sophie acts on her attraction to Luke. Will Luke feel the same way though?
This was a lot of fun. For Luke though I think age was an issue at times and there are times in the story that Sophie acts a bit too young for the level of their relationship. Overall good story, had some really funny moments.
Okay, so I kept seeing people raving about this book and there may have been promos that I saw as well and finally I gave in and bought this book… Soooooo glad that I did as I loved it!!
Fun, romantic, hot and a story that kept me turning the pages. The author managed to make the whole Gynecologist storyline work – so kudos to her! If you have any reservations about it – don’t! It’s a truly great book and I am one-clicking now to get the rest of the books in the series!
OMG I absolutely ADORED this!!! Every. Single. Page!! The only thing I hate?…That I waited so long to read it!!!!
HELLOOOOO, Dr. Miller!!!! I adored Sophie! I can’t wait to read the next book in this stand-alone series!
