A New York Times Bestselling Romantic Comedy
I have a history of picking the wrong guy. Gay? Player? Momma’s boy? Check, check and check.
Now I can’t stop fantasizing about one of the customers at the coffee shop I work at between classes. It’s just a harmless crush, right? It’s not like I ever see this guy outside of the coffee shop. It’s not like I’m going to see him while attempting to get … him while attempting to get birth control at the student clinic. While wearing a paper gown. While sitting on an exam table. Because he’s the doctor. Shoot. Me.
But what if, for once, the man I’ve had the dirtiest, most scandalous fantasies about turned out to be everything but wrong?

This book was full of laughter and hot steamy dreams, which do bound to come true. I was engaged from the first page and smiling all the way until it ended which only took me a day since I couldn’t put it down. Brilliant writing by the creative Jana. I love the storyline and I am excited for the next book of hers to read.
I loved this book. Romantic Comedies are not usually my thing but I took to the main character immediately and didn’t stop laughing. It helps that Luke is such a wonderful character. And this book is HOT. I’ve read the next two books. And I’m getting ready to read the last one in this series. Loved this.
Hot Doctor
Swoony Alpha
Witty banter
SUPER HOT SEXY TIMES
Unbelievably Romantic story that will make you feel all the happy everythings
HEA (in case it wasn’t already obvious…)
I loved this book. I loved these characters. I need more, and I can’t wait to recommend this author. She may have been new to me, but we’re definitely gonna be bros now.
Being Wrong never felt so Right! An amazing debut by Jana Aston!
Sophie is a determined college student who has her future planned! She wants to get her degree, find a job and have a successful career. She works at a coffee shop and has fantasies about one of her customers but doesn’t believe her fantasies are returned. Luke is tall and handsome, older than her, wears expensive suits and besides, she has a boyfriend! Having decided to lose her virginity before graduation, she visits the clinic to get the pill and, surprise, Luke is the gynecologist! Of course, she’s unable to hide her desire and the fun begins!
Luke comes from a wealthy family and has a different background from Sophie. He’s been hurt in the past and seems reserved at first, but he’s uninhibited in bed. Luke and Sophie are complete opposites but share the need to be loved and accepted and they have great chemistry in and out of the bedroom. Their story is hilarious and sexy at the same time! This is the first book by Jana Aston but the story is well written and I can’t wait for her next book!
One of my favorite books!
This was a very interesting book with a good story line. I wanted to hear more about this couple. Thanks for sharing!!
Well, I am sorry to say I didn’t enjoy this look as much as I wanted to. And I wanted to like this book so much.
It started out great, I laughed out loud at the internal monologue of the h and some cringy scenes at the gyno and Brazilian waxing.
But then it got a bit confusing for me. And the reason is that I needed the H’s point of view to clarify some situations. You can tell from how the h reacts that she is really young and lacks life experience but the H comes out as controlling a lot of the times. There are definite communication issues between the MCs and even if everything works out in the end, I was not connected to the characters and the story at all.
I enjoyed Luke and Sophie’s story, I laughed out loud funny so many times, and it was very steamy. There were some elements that I did not connect with but overall I really enjoyed this book. Erin Mallon did an amazing job and brought both Sophie and Luke to life with her narration.
I really liked this one I don’t read many straight contemporary’s but this one caught my eye due to it having that initial gynaecologist exam and I was curious.
In case your wondering the said examination was totally professional these two connect later and it was a pure coincidence that had Sophie walking into Lukes clinic and was actually very amusing to be inside Sophie’s head.
she was mortified that the hot coffee shop guy she’s been fantasising about for so long was now getting up close and personal with her intimate areas and not in a sexy way, She also felt a bit of a perv.
So this was an easy and at times amusing read.
I adored the chemistry between Sophie and Luke and very much adored Luke’s filthy mouth.
This was red hot in the heat department that’s for sure.
There’s as an age gap here like fifteen years and a mad crap-stirring ex-fiancée called Gina, Luke’s mother and father were a bloody nightmare as well.
My one annoyance here is the fact that Luke never called his ex out for her bunny boiler behaviour but to be fair to him Sophie herself never actually elaborated on Gina’s games fully.
I read this extremely fast and I also really liked the epilogue.

OH MY GOODNESS. I was not prepared for this book. I mean the person who recommended it explained that it was a funny book, but I was still unprepared for the laugh-out-loud moments in this book.
Jana Aston reminds me of Pippa Grant with her hilarious writing style. This book I couldn’t put down once I started and I was laughing until I was crying at 5am.
Sophie has been fantasizing about this older man who comes into the coffee shop every Tuesday. She’s finishing up her last year of college and ready to give up her v-card she had after a series of unfortunate boyfriends. She goes to the campus free-clinic and sees the doctor on duty. The man she’s been fantasizing about for weeks. The hilarity started right off the bat with this book. I literally could not stop laughing the entire exam scene.
Luke is a doctor who knows things with Sophie can’t last. Or can they? This hilarious and heartwarming story is an age-gap and very sexual book. I give it a 4/5 for me.
Just do yourself a favor and crack this sucker open…you won’t regret it! I’m still thinking about this couple and I’ve read three books since!
I read through a few negative reviews and decided I needed to read just what made this novel so terrible. Firstly, I’m nearly positive that the three and lower stars DNF on this story. Second, I’m going to point out that they are sadly not familiar with kinks and replace terminology that they assume fits and have no real knowledge of what they’re speaking about, in the spot their own uncomfortable disgust sits. SPOILERS AHEAD********

The kinks: NOT a daddy kink. The female and male leads have an age gap of 15 years. But, this does not mean she sees him as daddy. Sophie is a virgin at the new adult age of 21. Anyone that saved themselves this long would be completely clueless and feeling like an idiot in their awkward attempts to lose that V-card. Luke is an alpha male, a reproductive doctor and has a filthy mouth in the bedroom. He is does not show a super hard kink for being dom. He talks big and likes to spank, but he does not fall into the rough and brutal alpha category. There are things from his past that haunt him, but are not divulged until the very end. A reader that is detailed would be able to pickup on the clues in advance. So really the only kink here is age gap.
With any romance novel, you’ll find angst of different levels. This one is mild. The misunderstandings are low key. I do see where people were upset with the OW situation as it wasn’t very clear on his end, even though it was a non sexual. It was just a frustrating bit that was never cleared in the air from him. Ever. So do brace for that. It is HEA, just make sure you understand what you’re uncomfortable or happy with before posting about it. Leaving a sh*tty review without proper knowledge or even finishing is pretty troll. If you decide to DNF, be kind and don’t bother with the review since you have no say anyhow.
Wrong is sooo Right! Let me start with, I accidentally read the last book first and I loved it so much I had to start from the beginning! This is book one of Aston’s Cafe series, and I believe it was her debut novel… It’s Freaking GOLDEN!!! Wrong was effing EVERYTHING!!!! Like where has this author been all my life?! Wrong is an age-gap romance, so there is a 15-year gap between our characters… who TF cares??? I love age-age and if I didn’t I would still rate this baby 10 stars because it’s sooo fracking sexy!!! Luke is the book boyfriend of boyfriends!!! Whew, sorry I’m still fanning myself over here! This book is so steamy it’s a wonder my kindle didn’t catch fire! Luke is the KING of dirty talk, among other things and oh I haven’t crushed this hard on a book boyfriend in a while, but I won’t be forgetting him anytime soon! Sophie is our sweet and safe little virgin barista, who ready to finally give up that v-card! Her preparations are a cluster-fluff of hilarious encounters that will have you rolling with laughter and red with embarrassment! Gods I loved these characters soooo HARD!!! This is a MUST Read!! It will blow your mind and have you in need of a cold shower! I can say that I will never go to another obgyn appointment without thinking of this book! I’m dying for more! I can’t wait to read Everly’s book, I know it’s going to a hoot!
Luke and Sophia are characters with so much chemistry. Jana Aston does a good job taking two people from very different walks of life and not having one make the other “fit” into their mold.
Sophia is a refreshingly open character, but she’s a runner. Luke’s patience with her is actually a surprise initially because he tries to appear aloof.
My favorite parts of this kind of book are a hero that is protective – either saves the girl from someone or makes sure other men know they are barking up the wrong tree. The second thing present is the “old flame” that keeps telling the present girlfriend the man is coming back to her, then pretending to be sweet and helpless when dealing with the man. You know there will be an encounter in a bathroom somewhere with this one. This story has a bonus of a really despicable family, too.
I read this book because I wanted to read another book in the series and I am glad I did. Even though these are stand alone s, they still have common characters and we met some of them in Book 1.
Whew! The steam is real with this one! I wasn’t quite ready for the sheer amount of times this couple got it on in this book! And the banter! I was thoroughly entertained throughout this book. From the very beginning with that quite interesting doctor’s appointment. My cheeks were red for Sophie! And Luke was quite an interesting hero. This is definitely a quick read that will leave you flustered!
Although the steamy moments were great, I missed a little bit more of the emotional connection with the characters. And don’t get me wrong there’s emotion throughout it, but it was mainly jealousy and it seemed to have little conflict resolution. I also think there were moments where I wished that I got more insight into the character’s thoughts to maybe help me connect more. There were numerous moments and issues with side characters that never got elaborated on beyond the surface and it made it hard for me to understand why they were even there. It also frustrated me because it seemed important in understanding the main character’s past life.
With all that aside, I did speed through this book because I was interested to see how everything played out for these characters. And I am super intrigued to read more books in this series to see if maybe the writing style progresses throughout it. For a debut book, I think this was a great starting point.
I would definitely say this book leans more on the erotica side and less on the overall romantic connection side. And if you are looking for that, I would definitely say that this is the one for you because Jana really has a knack for the bedroom scenes! And she will definitely keep you entertained along the way, too!
I like my heroines strong and asshole heroes who redeem themselves, but I didn’t get that here. He was an asshole and never explained anything to her, and she took it all without question. It was a wonder I even finished it, even though I was tempted to not finish it more times that I could count.
This is a book, from an awesome duo, Janan Aston- Author and Erin Mallon- Narrator.
This is a high favourite of mine that I love to reread at least once a year!
One of my favorite romances. Loved the entire series!
Wrongfully Perfect
This book gave me all the feels. I started it yesterday and I thought about these characters all day throughout work.
I love how Luke is just enough of an overbearing, overprotective alpha, sexy male. I feel he’s not unreasonable in his requests until maybe the end there a little bit. Even then, once the preverbial other shoe dropped, I understood why he was the way he was at the end.
And Sophie, what a fun quirky character. I love how Jana makes her characters feel real… with the little things, like SOCKS! It’s just those little things that add up to make an incredible book, like this book, Wrong. If you’re looking for some romance and some steamy kink, this is a book for you! You won’t go Wrong!
