A Small town country music romanceWhat’s a girl to do after burning all of her no-good, cheating boyfriend’s belongings? Throw a dart at a map and start over in a new town.I may be new to the small town of Everton, but I’m well aware that I now share a zip code with a celebrity. You’d have to be living under a rock to not know, Knox Bentley, one of country music’s biggest stars. When Knox wanders … stars.
When Knox wanders into my bar— careful brown eyes and broody attitude—I can’t tear my gaze away. A cheating scandal fresh on his heels is just one reason I should stay far, far away, but the closer we get, the more I realize he’s not at all what I imagined.
But being a famous musician comes with unwanted attention…the kind that tears people apart, and now it’s becoming too painful to stay by his side.
They say love is a choice, but so is leaving…

I absolutely loved this one. It was so heart warming and touching. Fabiola knows how to write a book that makes you feel everything the characters are feeling. She pulls you in with a great storyline and keeps you hooked with great characters who give you a great story with feelings. Knox comes back to his hometown of Everton to get away from the singer life. He is dealing with to much and wants to get away. But getting away isn’t enough. Because everything follows him. While trying to get out of the stuff he is in he meets Ainsley. Ainsley is new to town and just wants to live her life. But to Knox she is a ray of sunshine, a change of pace, someone that can change his own aspect on life if she will let him in. But letting him in could hurt her in the end? Is it worth the risk? I absolutely loved these two together. The free spirit they have with each other. The way they seem to just fit together perfectly. Fabiola did an amazing job writing this storyline and gripping you from beginning to end. Highly recommend this one
Kicking off the new Love in Everton series, Write You a Love Song is a sweet, small-town romance.
After essentially selling his soul to the devil in exchange for a record contract, Knox has escaped the spotlight and drama in LA and is back in his hometown. Trying to break free from his label, and marriage, he is re-evaluating his career and entire life.
Ainsley is new in town, bartending and trying to make a life in the small town of Everton. When a broody Knox walks into her bar she’s not expecting the rockstar to be so down to earth, or the easy friendship that develops between them. But when that friendship develops into more, she’s not as prepared as she thinks for what comes with being with a celebrity.
I really enjoyed these characters, their storyline, and the progression of their relationship. Knox wasn’t the jaded celebrity you would expect, and I adored Ainsley! This was a very sweet and easy read, with minimal drama and lots of heartwarming moments. The small-town feel mixed with rockstar vibe resulted in a really fun story, and I loved it!
This is my first book by this author and I am blown away. Why did I wait so long to read her work? This is book 1 in the Love in Everton series. This is a small town/country music romance that even though I don’t like country music, I love brooding musicians. Knox and Ainsley were such a great couple. They both had issues that were in their past that really shaped who they are in the present. With each flip of the page, you will fall in love with them more and more. You will be rooting for the HEA they both deserve. I can’t wait to read more of her work and of this series.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
It was a very feel good story, hopeful with just the right amount of sexy times and cute moments, Fabiola has a way with making you want to be a country star or cowboy within her books!
Full of emotion right from the start, I loved this slow burn second chance romance.
I love country music and country singers so this book was right up my alley. I really enjoyed these well-written characters, they had depth and I liked them both. I liked the attraction between Knox and Ainsley, the development of their relationship, the friendship between them. A sexy cowboy, a beautiful “good woman”, lots of angst, drama, and steam what more can a reader ask for? Great Book!!
Unique circumstances bring Knox and Ainsley together in a small town in Wyoming. I really enjoyed the genuine connection they had from the start, and how they built on from there into a romantic relationship. What we saw start slow built into a passion that was undeniable! I really enjoyed the journey.
Fabiola Francisco writes beautiful, heart-warming love stories about real characters. Her storytelling takes you into the town of Everton to experience the trials of starting over with Knox and Ainsley. Knox is a famous country music star who has found that life in the spotlight isn’t what he wants anymore. He’s lost one love to lies and secrets and he won’t risk that ever again.
Ainsley is new to town with a fresh new outlook and free spirit. Being involved with a famous singer/songwriter was not what she planned, especially one with baggage, ex wife, and secrets.
There’s no doubt you’ll fall for Knox and his country charm just like Ainsley did.
Write You a Love Song is the first title in The Love in Everton Series, and my first time reading Fabiola Francisco.
Knox and Ainsley’s story is a sweet, feel good, friends to lovers romance of both hope and love.
This pair of characters are complex, yet endearing and both have their fair share of baggage.
Knox is a country music star with lots of regrets, who’s returned to his home town, whilst figures out what’s next.
Ainsley is down to earth, sweet, warm, endearing and positive.
I highly recommend this title if you enjoy a heart felt and swoony, small town, contemporary romance.
Great story by Fabiola! Ainsley moved to a small town to get away from the stress of her life. She just wanted a simple no stress life. Then Knox walks into her bar and she can’t believe he’s there. There are so many story about his life in the news she can’t believe he’s sitting at her bar. But talking to him comes easy and she’s just herself and wants to be around him more. Than his past comes back to haunt them and makes them both second guess their feelings. But make sure you listen to your heart and not what others are saying. You know your truth and the ones we love know our truths and Ainsley and Knox find that out during their relationship progression.
This was my first read by Fabiola, and it was a lovely cosy country music / small town / brooding celebrity read that I really enjoyed – it was a good mixture of everything really, sweet and steamy, with a touch of drama, a brooding and guarded hero with a cute, quirky and caring heroine.
Knox has moved back home to his family living in small town Everton, need a break and an escape from his famous career and his life being in the spotlight. He is a famous country singer and has just split with his equally famous wife, but there is a secret here which nobody knows about and he has signed an NDA for and can’t discuss, and he really despises his life and what he has been through and the music business in general, and needs to get away from everything.
Ainsley has escaped from her cheating boyfriend and has ended up bartending in Everton, something and somewhere new for her to try again with her life, but making friends is difficult in a small town where everyone knows each other. Knox and his brother visit the local bar where Ainsley is bartending and they have an instant connection and form a friendship easily. But both find each irresistible and bring out something missing in each other and their friendship develops into something more.
This was an easy, fun, slow burn read with lots of swoony bits and great characters set in a wonderful town, I really enjoyed it and recommend you give this a go.
I loved this small town celebrity book. I fell for this town and their characters. I loved everything about this book it just made me feel good.
A hometown feel good book that shows us how love can turn up up in the most unexpected places, even when you aren’t looking.
It’s certainly the last thing Knox is looking for while he is trying to escape his Country music star lifestyle to figure out who he is and where he wants be. Ainsley turns out to be his light in the dark, reminding him how simple things bring the most happiness. It only makes sense that Ainsley, the outsider, would be exactly what he needed to find the music again.
I love how Fabiola told Knox’s tale in a way that helped him confront mistakes he has made and all he may have taken for granted. I actually got to see his eyes opening in his quest for redemption. WYaLS was a perfect start to this series and I can’t wait to see where she will take it in Axel’s book.
Knox is a country music star needing to get away from it all. Ainsley is a bar tender getting over a past breakup. The two meet and are first friends then their attraction takes hold with a sweet romance. The couple have had difficult pasts and are taking things slow. This is a slow burn second chance romance.
Another absolutely amazing book by Fabiola. I can relate to this book in many ways. Losing a part of your life, starting over, finding your true love…nothing gets better than that.
When I met Knox in another of Fabiola Francisco books, I really had a hard time liking him. Now he has his story to tell. And what a terrific ride we are taken on. Not only do you get his back story, his heartaches, his joy and love…. Ainsley shares hers as well. Friendship leads to romance but it isn’t all frito pie when you date a country music star! How does Knox and Ainsley make it through all the ups and downs? You know you want to know! Read write you a love song and find out!!!! 5 amazing stars for this highly recommend book!!
She’s the golden rays of hope fighting through the dull gray in my life.
I know I want to discover every part of him and be responsible for making him smile so freely again.
Love Knox and Ainsley’s story. Love how she brings him back to his authentic self and how she doesn’t let his popularity affect her to much.
A romance so sweet and sexy that you will want to devour in one sitting. Ainsley and Knox’s flirtations are fun and their chemistry is instantaneous and hot. These two definitely deserve and need each other to help finally heal and achieve their own happiness. One story you will definitely want to read especially if you are a fan of country music, hot men and the perfect amount of steamy romance. Cannot wait to read more from this author.
Write You A Love Song is the first book in a new series by Fabiola Francisco. It’s also my first read from this author and was a sweet and sexy introduction to her writing.
Knox Bentley is a famous country music star, but he’s ready for some downtime when he returns home to spend some R&R with his family in the small town of Everton. He’s had enough of the wild life and the paparazzi.
He meets Ainsley when she moves to the town after running from a bad break-up.
These two share an awesome chemistry that can’t be denied, no matter how much they may have tried.
I really enjoyed the whole story and will be back for more.
A sweet sexy small town romance with a strong adventurous heroine and broody rockstar. Loved every minute reading this one!
