A Small town country music romanceWhat’s a girl to do after burning all of her no-good, cheating boyfriend’s belongings? Throw a dart at a map and start over in a new town.I may be new to the small town of Everton, but I’m well aware that I now share a zip code with a celebrity. You’d have to be living under a rock to not know, Knox Bentley, one of country music’s biggest stars. When Knox wanders … stars.
When Knox wanders into my bar— careful brown eyes and broody attitude—I can’t tear my gaze away. A cheating scandal fresh on his heels is just one reason I should stay far, far away, but the closer we get, the more I realize he’s not at all what I imagined.
But being a famous musician comes with unwanted attention…the kind that tears people apart, and now it’s becoming too painful to stay by his side.
They say love is a choice, but so is leaving…

Fabiola redeems Knox in his book, Write You A Love Song. You hear about him in Promise You and instantly feel like he is the bad guy. Fabiola shows that there is always two sides to every story and this is his.
Knox and Ainsley pair well together. She is the sun that brightens his day as she is such a happy person. I really enjoyed her character. Everyone needs a little sunshine in their life like she brought to Knox’s life. Knox starts off all broody and broken and I fell for him instantly despite of what I thought I knew about him.
Write You A Love Song by Fabiola is a great read and will have you swooning.
I’ll start with saying that I really liked Knox and Ainsley and u think they were great together. She was the balm to his stressful life. I think she made him a better man. They were playful and easy-going. I loved that he wouldn’t repeat his mistakes when trouble appeared. Being in the spot light is never easy and I was really happy the way their story ended.
Now I can’t wait to see how his brother fights for his woman and how much fun are they going to have before reaching HEA.

Write You a Love Song is a swoony and sexy country romance that grabbed my attention from the very first page. Once I dove into the pages I couldn’t stop reading this sweet and cozy romance. Everton was the perfect town and watching Knox and Ainsley’s relationship blossom over the winter gave me all the small town feels.
I can’t wait to continue this story with Axel’s story. The Everton Series is a must read.
Fabiola Francisco
Ah, Knox and Ainsley are a love song in themselves. This story was sweet and a little sorrowful but oh so satisfying.
The brooding, burnt, musician and the bubbly, happy-go-lucky, new girl in town. An imperfect match but a perfect couple. With his secrets and infamous reputation in print, he is a hard sell at first. But seeing the absolute joy for life in a small town bartender slowly brings the bear in him out into the sunshine. Trial and tribulations of being the girl of a famous man and being branded with labels that are not truly hers take a toll on the relationship. Family and friends are important in this relationship.
But love conquers all doesn’t it? It does. And Fabiola melts even the coldest hearts with this one. A true love story.
Starting over and healing your heart in a small town
Write You a Love Song is the first book I have read by Fabiola Francisco so I was not sure what to expect. The books description looked like it might be a nice and naughty western, small town romance. I was right in that the story of Ainsley and Knox was just that. She is trying to heal from a cheating ex and a bad break-up. To aid in that she throws a dart at a map and moves to the town of Everton and start over. There she meets Knox who has come back to be with his family and lie low since he is a country music superstar so everyone knows him and watches him. He is disillusioned with his life and the fake of stardom, along with needing to heal from the end of his marriage.
This story is well written with a great story-line that is entertaining and engaging. The characters have depth and believable back stories that add to the overall story and their characters motivations and feelings. Additionally the supporting characters add to the story as Ainsley and Knox first start as friends and then with the possibility of so much more. But will they each take a chance at having their heart broken again in the hopes at a HEA together?
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Write You a Love Song is a stand alone, contemporary, small-town romance, with a dash of friends-to-lovers trope. This is the first book in this series and my first ever read from the author.
“There is no turning back, there never is, only living the present with the consequences of our actions and learning from them.”
Told mostly on Knox’s POV, the story focuses on Knox running from the fake, brittle life as the famous country singer. After years of doing what his label company dictates of him, he lost his love with music. With the added marriage problem, it was all he could do but to run back to his hometown, Everton, to find hisself again. There he met Ainsley, the friendly, quirky, new girl/ bartender in town. Like him, she went to this place to start a new life after a bad break up.
“Ainsley may just be the woman who makes me believe in second chances ”
The witty banter and easy camaraderie between Knox and Ainsley can be felt throughout the story. I loved that their love starts as slow in the making, as it give these two souls the chance to really get to know each other and settle their past/present situations. I loved that Knox grew up and learned his lesson well, career and relationship wise. I was silently rooting for these two as they are clearly a fit. Ainsley as the light, positive vibe to his gloomy life and Knox as the adventure that she is missing. This story has a light, feel good romance with just the right amount of drama to make this a page turner read. This is one of those kind of story that leaves a permanent happy smile on your face. Loved it and can’t wait for the next story in this series.
Small town life is all I know, so I love reading this trope. Add in country music, and it becomes my bread and butter. It’s fun getting to see the celebrities live large, but its refreshing to see them go home and live among the hometown crowd. Ainsley was perfect for Knox. She let him be Knox the person, and not the celebrity. I loved that he showed her how to live small-town, she helped him find love for the music again, and they helped each other learn to open their hearts. So good!
Write You a Love Song is a wonderfully written story with great characters. I was quickly captivated and invested in Ainsley and Knox’s story.
Ainsley’s move to the small town of Everton has opened a door to many possibilities for her. The biggest one she never expected…Love.
Knox came home to escape the spotlight and figure out what he’s going to do now.
Meeting Ainsley was a wonderful surprise. She’s like a breath of fresh air. Before long Ainsley becomes like a beacon of light guiding Knox through the darkness.
Their story is sweet, full of hope and love. It warmed my heart and left me wanting more.
Amazing! Outstanding! The perfect start to an addicting series. Write You A Love Song is my first book by Fabiola and I can honestly say it won’t be my last. I love her writing style as it makes you feel like your best friend is telling you their life story. I was drawn into the story from the very first page and would pick up the book any spare minute I had. I absolutley love Knox, he is by far my favorite book boyfriend. The relationship that develops between Knox and Ainsley is so heartwarming. I could not stop smiling throughout the book, so many sweet happy moments. I am so excited to know there will be a second book to follow Axel (Knox’s brother), I am secretly hoping Knox will appear in it as well. Thank you Fabiola for an amazing book, you found yourself a new fan.
”She’s peace wrapped in a body, and I’ve been soaking her up, every last drop.”
My first book by this author turned out to be a cute friends to lovers story that totally gives you feel good vibes. It made me feel good while reading it and kept a steady smile on my face.
”You’r the chili to my Frito pie…”
The characters, their storyline, and the way their relationship developed was easy to fall for and sweet to follow. There was minimal drama and lots joyful funny and emotional moments.
However, I sometimes got a little bored because I missed a little thrill and I didn’t get intrigued like I usually do with rockstars.
”You’re like a snowflake – perfect, full of magic, and unique.”
Write You A Love Song is a sweet small-town romance mixed with rockstar vibes I really enjoyed reading.
Small town romance. Hidden music singer. Romance that is totally unexpected. That’s just a few things that happen in this book. This author takes writing to a whole different level!! The chemistry, these words, the internal and external conflicts- it all adds up to bring you a romance you won’t soon forget!!!!
The chemistry between Knox and Ainsley. The way they meet, come together, and end up is truly amazing!!
Knox and Ainsley are thrown together in unforeseen circumstances. They have to maneuver on a roller coaster of lies, emotions and everything in between. Hang on tight – it’s going to be a wild, bumpy ride. Read this book and see what all the hype is out!!!
Write You a Love Song was such a wonderful, sweet story! I really enjoyed the story line and LOVED Ainsley and Knox! The way the two connected and formed a friendship over Frito Pie had me cracking up. They had such great chemistry, and even though Knox had no intention of seeking out another relationship, theirs just happened so naturally.
Of course there was also some drama involved since Knox was a celebrity trying to hide out in his small home town while news stories about him were being fabricated all of the place and that made for some interested moments.
I really can’t wait for the next book in this series so that I can find out more information about Knox’s brother!
A must read book for sure! By Alisa
Five Frito stars! What a good small-town romance with all the feels.
Oh my sweet Lord! Where Fabiola Francisco has been all my life? Write You a Love Song is my first book by this author and believe me when I say it won’t be the last because her writing has captivated me. The way she poured feelings and how real are her characters amazed me and blew me. There was something addictive and enticing about this book that made me swoon all the time. Like a country song, it made my heart burst with energy and dance in hope and love. This is a sexy small-town novel with the right blend of sweet and steam, a cosy country romance with plenty of cute moments that make you feel so much.
The plot is beautifully well developed, the storyline is fast paced and the characters are wonderful, relatable and easy to love. This book has a lot of laughs, the perfect amount of angst and the right touch of sweetness and funny times. It is an adorable and light read about two people needing fresh starts, two souls in search of peace and solace, two hearts calling for hope and why not maybe love.
Ainsley who randomly chooses Everton as her new home after breaking up with her cheating boyfriend. She has a huge heart and has a carefree attitude and gentle spirit. She always see the good in everything no matter what. She is sparkling light and some of that light is needed by a certain hot country star. She will be the balm that will smooth any rough edge inside his heart, the muse who will inspire him to write songs again, the light to his darkness.
Knox who is back home when his career as a country musician is paused because of his wrong decisions, the drama around his private life and tired of being in the spotlight. He lost his real passion and he haven’t written a song since leaving Nashville. Being again in his hometown will give him some relief. The fresh air will clear his mind and soul. What he never expected is to find a woman who makes him feel alive again, lighting his life and helping him to heal his heart.
Both looking forward for a change of air. They first meet in the bar where Ainsley is working as a bartender. The attraction is almost instant and a friendship flourish between them. A friendship that slowly could turn into something more.
Ainsley and Knox’s story is a sweet ride where both needed to recover the reins of their life because they were adrift of their dreams. Their story is about perseverance and fighting for the one you love no matter what. They needed to reclaim back what made them happy. For Knox was his passion for music and for Ainsley her light and hope of finding a place she can call home, to have the sense of belonging and maybe find real love. Once they take the next step into their relationship, expectations grow for both of them despite that they are wiser, this will be their second chance in love and they will be careful and will cherish every second of it. The chemistry between them is hot as the summer in the south. Things will be a bit rocky when their fresh relationship is put in the spotlight, will the public eye destroy the tender a new love that is blooming in their hearts?
Write You a Love Song is a stunning and beautiful tale. I could almost breathe in the fresh air as I devoured this book. A story painted with great detail that flows smoothly. So irresistible, so sweet and so sexy. Who can resist a handsome musician who also have the looks of a hot cowboy? I can’t wait to read the following books on the series!

Write You A Love Song

*REVIEW*
Write You A Love Song is an adorable easy read. Two people needing fresh starts meet serendipitously. Ainsley syffers a terrible break up and randomly chooses Everton as her new home. Knox is a country star who has been blinded and burned by the light of the celebrity life. He comes back home to Everton when he just can’t stand it anymore in the spotlight. Ainsley is working as a bartender when Knox comes in one night, and the chemistry is obvious and instant. Their friendship turns into more, but for how long? Ainsley is a lovely sweet character who doesn’t seem to belong in the tabloids. Knox is brooding but soft on the outside, and he wants to protect Ainsley from the celebrity life. Can this relationship survive the scrutiny and constant attention of the gossip hungry savages? They are so cute together, and it’s easy to like them and root for their future happiness. I enjoyed the easy going vibe of this story, the beautiful setting and the ease in which I related to the characters. It’s warm hearted and makes you smile, and I do recommend giving this book a try!
This is my first book by this author and I will be checking out their other books.
A gentle friends to lovers romance with a feel good vibe. Knox is a famous country star who comes home to escape a scandal. Ainsley made an impulsive move to a new town after being cheated on. I liked how they became friends before any romantic attachment. Knox despite his fame is really likeable and down to earth. Ainsley has an adventurous spirit she’s friendly and alot of fun. I enjoyed this feel good story.

Every time she puts her pen to paper I know I will get a story filled with relatable characters – lots of laughter – just the right touch of angst – and the most heart-melting check all the boxes romance I could ask for.
Write you a love song was no exception
To the world, Knox lived the dream. He was king with the perfect queen at his side. Turns out it wasn’t his dream he was living. Sometimes you have to step back and start over. My heart ached for him as he faced the reality of his choices and moved to make the changes that made him happy.
He gave so much of himself, never intentionally wronged anyone, was always there with a helping hand – yet the people who should have known better, the ones who watched him grow up, who knew him personally were among the first to believe the lies.
Ainsley … I need an Ainsley, heck we all need an Ainsley in our lives.
She knows the world is far from a happy place and she firmly believes that it is up to each of us to find our sunshine. Darn if that girl doesn’t light up a ten-mile radius around her.
I have to agree with her philosophy –
Why wallow when you can shine?
This is one of those easy read romances
The kind that makes you smile
That has you believing there is still some good in the world
That leaves you with a smile and the warm fuzzies
Ohhhhh …can we please get Mr. ‘I’m to slick for love’ story next , please!

4 Love & Frito Pie Stars!
I’ve been so looking forward to reading more of Ms.Francisco’s books! From the prologue this story grabbed my attention and I couldn’t wait for more! This was such an enjoyable read!
When it came to Knox and Ainsley, I loved the sweet moments between these two and how they brought out different sides to each other. The deeper I got into the story the more I connected with them and felt so much.
With Write You A Love Song, Ms.Francisco created an uplifting story that touched my heart. She showed that wonderful things can happen when we least expect it. I can’t wait for Roping Your Heart!
Fun, light, and authentic. Knox was one of the most honest and thoughtful heroes ever. The way he opened up to Ainsley and protected her was what won me over. Throw in the family rallying behind them and you have a winner all the way.
Oh my…..I don’t even know where to start!! I absolutely LOVE Knox & Ainsley. I love them as individuals and as a couple. Their quirks, easy banter, quick friendship are all the makings of a solid relationships. Their back and forth banter and teasing reminds me so much of me and my male best friend that I could see us in a lot of this story.
Ainsley threw a random dart at a map when she caught her boyfriend cheating and that’s where she moved to and started a new life. Knox moves back home burnt out from his career as a country music superstar and the end of his marriage. Some of the townsfolk are quick to judge Knox and believe everything the rag mags have posted, while others know the boy that grew up there and his character.
A nice friendship slowly builds into a romantic relationship, both believing they can have it all, until the paparazzi shows up in their small town in full force. Once their lives are invaded and the slander starts, can their relationship survive or will they once again lose it all?
I loved loved loved this book and can’t wait to come back and visit with all of my friends in Everton!!
