A Small town country music romanceWhat’s a girl to do after burning all of her no-good, cheating boyfriend’s belongings? Throw a dart at a map and start over in a new town.I may be new to the small town of Everton, but I’m well aware that I now share a zip code with a celebrity. You’d have to be living under a rock to not know, Knox Bentley, one of country music’s biggest stars. When Knox wanders … stars.
When Knox wanders into my bar— careful brown eyes and broody attitude—I can’t tear my gaze away. A cheating scandal fresh on his heels is just one reason I should stay far, far away, but the closer we get, the more I realize he’s not at all what I imagined.
But being a famous musician comes with unwanted attention…the kind that tears people apart, and now it’s becoming too painful to stay by his side.
They say love is a choice, but so is leaving…

We all know Fabiola is the QUEEN of country music romance, but this one was just… more. Something about this one in particular just hit me, it wasn’t just about the music, but the two hearts that were so wrapped up in each other, the realities of their opposite worlds didn’t matter.
At the end of Promise You, you kind of come to hate Knox, but Fabiola makes him so human, like giving us an inside look to what the other side of the story is living. I came to feel for him, to want to wrap my arms around him and pull him out of his stupor. Matching him with such a fun girl like Ainsley, I was sucked into their snow-globe world, and didn’t want to come back to mine! She just threw a dart at the map, and made a drastic change in her world, and I couldn’t help but connect to her. I think we all have that moment in our lives, and it once again made this world soo real to me. When the world outside that globe, starts to shake it up, you can’t help but hold your breath as the snow settles around them and wait to see if their still standing.
I can’t wait to see what the rest of this new series has in store, cause I always get all the feels! Another amazing read!!!
This book is about a small town romance between Knox and Ainsley. They both have not been lucky in love. Knox is a country music star, but he needs a break from the spotlight. Ainsley is working as a bartender, moving on from a bad relationship. They strike up a friendship, that leads to happiness and love. This is a feel good and fall in love story. I highly recommend you read this book.
I am all over the place with this book. I have to give it 3.5 stars for the feels. This author writes books that are from the heart and just eat at your soul. They make you feel it all. Her characters and plots usually have me trying to get a grip on my emotions and well you get what I mean. To understand all that he has gone through and how it destroyed him you would need to have read some earlier works, I have. That in itself should be all I need to be all about him finally getting his hea. She has been deal a bad hand by a cheating ex and the townies aren’t really giving her a arms wide open welcome. Unfortunately I never really feel their connection. There’s plenty of chemistry and passion it just didn’t work for me. Now don’t get me wrong this is some great writing, with characters that are strong and funny, that’s why I am having such a hard time with my review. While I love these two as individuals them as a couple just didn’t work for me, but truly it’s just me.
You will fall in love with Knox and Ainsley, she has a huge heart and Knox needs some of her light in his life.
Knox knows he needs a change in his career and he is done chasing women that only want him for one thing, notoriety, until he meets Ainsley. I really enjoyed Ainsley’s character she was always so happy and positive about life in general. She is just wanted Knox needed in his life.
Can’t wait to see what’s to come in the next book, with Knox’s brother.
This really was a sweet, steamy emotional Love story.
Knox has returned home after leaving a few years ago to make it big in the music industry. Fame and foortune has become his, but at what price. Now a broken and disillusioned young man, his creativity and love of music shattered by the industry that controls everything from the artists private life to their music.
Ainsley has landed in Everton after finding her long term boyfriend cheating. Both seem to be an unlikely pair, Ainsley is a cup half full kind of girl and Knox is definitely a man who can’t trust easily, nor does he want to bring anyone into the fish bowl public eye life.
I loved this book right from the start. No glamour or glitz of the rock star life but more of the dirty dealings behind the scenes and how it can really suck the soul from people, with the media torture and half truths.
As their friend ship grows you really get to know two pretty amazing people and easily get attached to them. Both knowing what they are getting into, yet even though with fore warning, how can you prepare for the storm you know will come from media and paps!! They were simply two people who fell in love in the most romantic of ways, that warms your heart and makes you want to protect them. Stuck between a rock and a hard place how can their love possibly survive! I laughed with them, i swooned with them, and i cried with them but most of all i wanted to go too war for them!! Beautifully written and a book you will definitely want to read more than once !!!

Sexy man in need of some lovin’!
Knox Bentley is a disillusioned star at the top of the country music scene with his own sad story to tell, but he can’t even do that. You’ll see why! His marriage is over (some are cheering), his career hanging in the balance and he doesn’t know what else to do but to go home to his Wyoming roots and forget the fake life someone else chose for him to portray, he’s done.
Mad as he is at the way things are getting twisted in the media with lie upon lie, he’s glad to be home in Everton, with his family behind him as he tries to mend his heart and figure out his new life. It’s not what you might think though..under the surface, Knox is a different man, not who you ‘think’ you see and starting over is the only way to eventually be himself and hopefully, happy again. Will he get to write and sing his own love song someday?
His brother drags him out of seclusion to have alittle fun, some bro time over a few drinks. The sweet, upbeat bartender, Ainsley is drawing him closer with her positive, infectious attitude. Knox could use alittle of that himself but he doesn’t want to taint another woman with the ugliness that follows him around. The media, the photographers, the lies, even he can’t take it anymore.
What a sweet and romantic story from an author I’m just discovering with this book, Write You a Love Song. Just a perfect way to spend my evening, with a sexy, lost country boy as he finds his way back home in more ways than one. I love books like this one that provide a wonderful story, a little bit of steamy goodness and a smile at the end to warm my romance loving heart! I’m going to be keeping an eye on Fabiola Francisco!
My thanks to the author for the gift of an early copy of this book. So happy to be able to leave my honest review of it.
You can’t help but love Knox and Ainsley right from the beginning her heart is so big and Knox needs someone to care about him as a person. Knox is done with his music career and women but when he meets Ainsley at the bar where she works she smiles and makes him feel good about himself. Everything seems to go ok until the press starts and Ainsley isn’t sure she can take all the comments thrown at her but Knox is determined to keep them together. No cliffhanger but there’s characters you meet featured in the next book Roping Your Heart
I won this ARC in a giveaway the author was putting on in FB. This is also a first read for me of the authors! But it is most definitely not my last that is for sure.
I have to say that I have loved everything about this book. The story, the writing, the characters, just everything about it was so good!
I normally have a love to hate to love relationship with the hero or the heroine or both at the same time, when I read in some books. I always find one thing that makes me scream at my kindle but that never happened ONCE in this one.
I fell in love with Ainsley and Knox right away. Even with everything that has gone bad in Knox’s past and what the media was saying about him, there was something right away with him that pulled my heartstrings and was like he isn’t like that at all!
Ainsley was my fierce confidence heroine that I love! Her outlook on life was one to admire. To me she lived her life with no regrets and that seems like a good way to live it.
Once these two got together they were a perfect fit. How Knox right away wanted to protect Ainsley and take care of her and not make his same mistakes with her, can we just talk about swoon! And Ainsley helping Knox figure out his life and help him find his happiness again, gahhh guys it is too good!!!

Knox and Ainsley were both adrift in their lives but sometimes fate puts you right where you need to be even if you can’t see the plan immediately. Knox is back home trying to reclaim his life and passion. Ainsley’s dart hit on the town of Everton and she moved without expectation. Their attraction was instant but it took a bit of convincing for them to get on the same page. For both of them this is a second chance romance and they are both wiser going into a relationship. This story is as sweet as it is swoony and lighthearted. I really enjoyed their story and can’t wait to read Axel’s story.
Coming home to pick up the pieces of his life, Knox Bentley finds himself fighting for a divorce and trying to break away from his recording contract. What he never imagined was to first find friendship with the cute bartender at the local pub. When the friendship with Ainsley turns into so much more can she deal with the fame, fortune and notoriety that follows Knox around? Will the Paparazzi and lies end the relationship before it can begin? With beautifully written characters, Fabiola Francisco once again creates a new series that the reader cannot help but fall in love with. The connections made within the pages are honest and true and the storyline was one I could not put down. I need the next book in the series ASAP.
I did not want this story to end! Write You a Love Song is full of hope and love. The main characters Ainsley and Knox are perfect in their own ways. Ainsley is carefree and sees the positive in life. She’s moved to a small town (by the fate of a dart) and is loving her new bartending career at the local bar. Knox has recently left the spotlight as a Country music idol and is going through a divorce while regretting the love he left behind before his career took off. Neither are looking for love but ready to have an easy friendship. Ainsley has opened Knox’s eyes to a hopeful life that could include love. Knox will fight hard for her especially when those around them are throwing obstacles in their way.
I love the lyrics to the song that is introduced in this story. I especially love how the author brings life in small town living and reminds us that loving Frito pie is nothing to be ashamed of. I look forward to more from Everton.
Knox is a celebrity who has had it with the big time. Coming home to Everton for some much needed peace and quiet after LA. Filing for divorce from a woman he never loved and losing the love of his life. Music no longer appeals to him; until he meets quirky Ainsley. Newcomer to town, Bartender at Clarke’s, they find a kindred spirit in each other neither expected.
But with Knox comes all the trappings of Hollywood. Paparazzi find out he is dating Ainsley so soon after his divorce and it’s all over social media! Can they handle the pressure and cruelty of the reporters? That was one of the reasons he lost his true love, trying to protect her. Well, that was his story. This time, is it the real deal? Can Knox put Ainsley first and foremost? And can Ainsley trust Knox not to be like her cheating ex?
This first Love in Everton book is so sweet, you will love this Wyoming town where wild horses still roam and the mountains take your breath away. Where you can be the chili to someone’s Frito pie. The people are real and honest and the book keeps you riveted until the last page. loved the HEA and my favorite, an Epilogue!
This is a wonderful Five Star Read and I am looking forward to Axel and Lia’s story next in Roping Your Heart (Love in Everton, 2) – and seeing more of our Knox and Ainsley!
