This was a light read. It was an escape into an unrealistic world of fun.
Took me back to troublesome teenage years……and reminded me of stories such as the Swiss Family Robinson. An enjoyable read
Pretty well written, well edited, and just plain fun! Rather silly, but fun!
A bit of the feel of the Breakfast Club. Teen Ayers from different worlds learn to look past convention and work together to survive. Love can follow and struggles can be faced.
I couldn’t finish it. The characters are one-dimensional (at best) and the writing style is so lacking it’s insulting. Couldn’t do it. The premise seemed fun, I’ll give it that.
Love how they start out hating each other but grow into amazing young adults who know more about real life from their unprecedented experience of a cruise shipwreck. Very fun read. adventure and danger at every turn yet they stick together no matter what.
The characters and their dialogue were annoying to me. Not my type of book.
This is the first book that I have ever read by this author, and as soon as I finished it, I immediately went on a hunt for more books by this author. It was a great quick read and I sat down and read the whole thing in one sitting. Thanks for a great read!!!
First book I have read from this author. It’s been many years since I was a teenager but I really enjoyed these characters and their story. I have since down loaded the sequel as well as her books called War of the Far. I found all her books entertaining and well written. Glad I found these books
one of a kind Story, well written
The under-appreciated heroine, the prickly personality with a good heart, and the underdog that comes into his own – what’s not to like! These character-types have long been favorites for me and this story has all three in spades. Wonderful character development and expect to read the sequel since you can’t help but be hooked.
I kind of liked the premise, but it stretched credibility beyond my capacity to suspend disbelief.
It was entertaining and had good character development.
Loved this story, loved the characters. It was a different kind of story, exciting, and a totally great read. Am getting ready right now to purchase “Reckless” the sequel. Just really loved it.
Thank goodness this was free to me. I could only manage to force enough interest to keep reading through about half of it.
I have been a fan of Elle Casey’s for several years now. She has a true understanding of the young adults in her books. There is a true sense of believability in the way her characters handle themselves. They could be you neighbors. The adventure stretches it a bit when they get lost at sea, but it gives the story the time it needs to bring out …
Good read. Not heavy.
Found the characters enjoyable and entertaining.
This was a cute book. An easy read, completely unrealistic but I enjoyed it still. I liked that it really wasn’t totally predictable. I’m even reading the sequel!
