Wrath
When I started this series, I completely became immersed in the wonderful new world that the author created. I loved the first book in the series Envy, and I was eager to read the next book.
When I read the second book, I was again completely drawn into the story and the characters lives, I thought, how will Lana Pecherczyk surpass this book?
With Wrath’s story Lana gave us the complicated and yet heartbreakingly gorgeous brother Wyatt, whose alter ego goes by the name of “Wrath”. Wyatt left the family and went out on his own and feels like his sin is taking over his sanity, he is having more instances of blackouts where he deals out pain and justice but he’s worried that he might slip and inadvertently hurt an innocent.
When Wrath’s motorcycle breaks down and he sees a couple of men beating up an older man and his son, he steps in to administer his own brand of justice. Little did he know that that one act of Wrath was going to propel him towards his destiny. A destiny he fights tooth and nail to avoid.
But although Wyatt knows all about sin and justice, he has no idea how to interact with a wonderfully strong and sexy woman who has her own battles to wage. Misha is determined to save her family from the Bratva and takes it upon herself to step in and carry the financial burden of paying their protection fees by herself.
Although she works multiple jobs and is forced to work in the leader of the Bratva’s strip club, all the money she earns at the club is being funneled back into Dimitri’s filthy hands, when Misha took a small break from the club Dimitri used that break as an excuse to pressure Misha into doing more things with the clubs clients than Misha is comfortable doing. As she determines just how far she’s willing to go to protect her family, she meets and becomes intrigued with her fathers new employee, an employee with his own demons to bury, but the demons that are after Wyatt aren’t easy prey.
Join Wyatt and Misha on an emotional and action packed adventure that will keep you riveted to this book, until you turn the last page! This is one book you don’t want to miss!
Oh Wyatt, if there was ever a character who deserved to find his HEA, it would be this guy. He was betrayed by his ex-fiancé, leaving him scared mentally, emotionally and physically. Misha had her own scars, keeping almost everyone outside of her family an arms length away to protect herself. A case of being in the right place at the right time brings Wyatt and Misha together, now will they survive to get that HEA?
Misha is exactly the individual that Wyatt needs in his life and the same can be said about Wyatt for Misha. I also love how interconnected this couple is with the previous ones. It is great to see the previous two leading ladies interact with Misha. Wyatt also does a lot of growing in this book, which he definitely needed to do.
I love this story & this is one of my favorite series ever! If you love superheroes then this is the series for you. Definitely a must read.
I loved the story! Lana red’s awesome stories that take you into a whole new world. Wyatt and Misha’s story was very engaging and attention grabbing.
3.5 stars
After suffering the awful betrayal from his ex fiancée (man, was she a slimy piece of work) Wrath hid away from his family, his life, and especially himself. He had a lot of pent up anger and no good way to channel it out. On one hand, I felt sorry for him. Yet on the other, I really wanted to kick his butt in to high gear and pull his head out of his massive pity party!
Misha was Wyatt’s opposite. Where he was brooding anger and an exercise in frustration, Misha was extreme positivity and light hearted silliness. That’s not to say she didn’t have her own burdens. Misha was loyal to her family and would sacrifice her life for them, but she also held a lot of pent up resentment for her responsibilities, whether she acknowledged them or not.
These two ran really hot and cold on the romantic aspects. Burning up the sheets one moment, dodging one another in the next breath. Because of their pasts, Wyatt and Misha were both very distrustful and sometimes it blinded them to the possibilities their relationship could have.
Overall, this was a good, yet sometimes frustrating read because Wyatt and Misha were so bull headed! They do eventually come around, but it was a lesson in reader patience! The Syndicate plot had a few twists and then there’s Sloan! I am so glad her story drops tomorrow!!
**RECEIVED ARC FOR HONEST REVIEW**
First let me say I have loved this series since the beginning. It is original and engaging. You never really know where the drama is going to take you.
Second, if you liked Suicide Squad I think you will like these characters. Antiheroes trying to find balance.
I was so looking forward to reading about this brooding guy, Wyatt/Wrath but I gotta say this book drove me nuts. For the first time I had the most difficult time reading a book in this series. Everything was slow going. We spent so much time on Wyatt’s poor pitiful me attitude. And Mishi was just plain annoying. Serious martyr complex with an air of dumb blond fluff bunny attitude refusing attachments. Wyatt was a caveman: my mate, no choice, you mine. While he acts like chef Gordon Ramsay from Hades. Ugh.
Bottomline: took me forever to read lots of starts and stops. I was not into the characters like I had hoped. BUT by the climax it picked up and the last bit I really enjoyed.
I am looking forward to Sloan/Sloth. She is my favorite character. So I hope her book rocks.
Yeah characters weren’t great and the reading was slow going but truthfully the story is still interesting. My love for the series and the plot makes me give it 3 stars but JUST BARELY.
What a fun and exciting story. Wrath. Part of the deadly sins/siblings. These characters were strong and full of intrigue. And the story was so unique and interesting; it kept me on the edge of my seat. I can’t wait to find and read the other siblings stories!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Wrath is one of the Seven Deadly Sins. This book about Wrath is the only one in the series that I’ve read so far. Wyatt doesn’t want to always be known as only Wrath so he changes his name. Finding love and his true mate in Mischa, Wyatt is finally coming into his own with his true self. He keeps up with his six siblings and together they all battle The Syndicate, which isn’t totally explained in this book. Join Wyatt and !haha as they fight for their families and to establish their own way of life in Wrath. A great story!
A great book in the series.Loved this story as Wrath has his book and having to deal with the betrayal of his ex. They way he basically went haywire but his special one helps him as he has to help her. A wonderful storyline that will keep on the edge of your seat to see where it all ends! I can’t wait The the next book in the series! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Overall rating: 4.6
The third sin out of 7, Wyatt and Misha lead us through an action packed storyline. As a reader, you know the general place this couple should end up at, yet you just can’t help following along to see the trial and challenges that are placed in front of them. Parts of this story got a tad corny but nevertheless still entertained. They also set the bedsheets on fire so be forewarned, explicit adult behavior is contained within these pages. I am still up in the air about the goal of the Syndicate, an d I really want to find out what the future looks like for Despair but it looks like Sloth will be taking center stage next. All my reviews are always voluntarily written.
I loved it! It’s absolutely amazing and I enjoyed every second of it. Wrath’s story is really emotional and has so many thrilling moments that it will keep the readers on their toes. The ending is perfect and I loved little revelations at the end. It just made it all the more fun. Now, I’ll be waiting for the next book in this awesome series. So far these books are turning out to be epic and giving me serious book-hangovers. 😉
To some, it may seem that Wyatt is running away from his family and his duty but the truth is that he is running away from himself. There is too much pain in his past and he just wishes to leave it all behind. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know that you can’t run from yourself. Soon, he is going to learn that he must accept his past because that is the only way for him to move on and live a normal life. Although, normal for him is anything but…
Misha is facing many problems but she is determined to face each and every one of them with courage. However, there is much that she keeps hidden from her family because she doesn’t want them to feel bad for her or be put in danger. She believes that she can deal with it on her own…
When the two troubled souls, Wyatt and Misha, meet sparks fly but it cannot be anything other than a passing affair. Until they realize that they can’t live without each other and there is no reason for them to be alone anymore. Things are not going to be easy. Both main characters are fighting their own demons and trying to sort out their chaotic lives. Perhaps, together they stand a chance to achieve some kind of peace at last.
It’s a fast-paced and thrilling read. I loved the chemistry between both main characters and I enjoyed that they are absolutely perfect for each other. Wyatt and Misha’s story is beautiful, exciting, emotional, and very entertaining. I’d definitely recommend this book to my fellow readers. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
