Temptation — it’s all around us.My hardest decision: give into that forbidden desire, or resist all the unrelenting urges inside of me.She wasn’t mine to take, but I reached out and took her like that forbidden apple in the garden she belongs in.She’s my angel. She was put on this earth for the devil himself. And I’m not strong enough to resist her. She’s off limits… forbidden… and all mine. But I … limits… forbidden… and all mine.
But I know it’s only a matter of time before the hell that is my life engulfs us both with its wicked flame.

Hope was just beginning to live her life. Almost time to graduate high school and planning a future with her sweetheart Dean. Then it was all gone in an instant. Now she is barely functioning, barely able to live. It’s been five years, and she just can’t seem to move on.
Holden has spent the last 5 years in a living hell. His only son was killed in an accident, his wife has sunk so low into depression she is like a zombie. He hasn’t felt like a married man for years. She won’t even try to get better, to move on. He is at his wits end.
When they ran into each other by chance at a grief support group, it seemed they had each found something they had been missing, somebody that knew their pain, understood it. But then things started to change, but they can’t. It’s not right, he is twice her age, she is his dead son’s girlfriend, but they cannot resist the pull.
This is an amazing story of young love, hopes and dreams, tragedy, depression and despair, and true love. This story was so well written, you really felt for the characters, felt their emotions and truly wanted them to achieve their true love and happiness. I would definitely recommend this book!
OMG she has did it again. I absolutely loved this book. Just because someone thinks something is taboo or wrong doesn’t make it so. This is an emotional masterpiece. I loved every second of this book.
Heartfelt romantic story that may not be so forbidden
After the death of the man she loved more than life itself, life wasn’t just about living, it was about surviving. How could she move into the light, when her heart felt only darkness. The feelings of love, of anything, were gone – until years later she saw familiar blue-green eyes walk into the support group she’d been attending but had never been a part of.
Their marriage has been on ice for years, and she was no longer the vibrant woman he’d married. He’d tried to encourage his wife from the debilitating depression that she’d been in since they’d lost what no parents should have to, but she wouldn’t take the journey with him. He’d start the healing process for himself, but if his wife wouldn’t come with him, he was going to have to move on without her, or die a living death with her. Then, he finds someone who actually wants his help to overcome the extreme grief that she feels.
The story of Hope and Holden is one of an absolutely unconditional love. It is not a selfish love, nor does it seek to negatively influence those around them, but rather to heal, support and uplift.
Unfortunately for them, others aren’t quite so understanding, and try to forbid their relationship, which could undermine everything that they have tried to overcome, and even though Holden may try to spare Hope, he may have just under-estimated her strength.
The written depth of feeling is so palpable that I was almost choking on the grief of the characters, it was that strong, and the story was beautifully written. I also have to say, that as far as forbidden goes, I really didn’t find it that way. 5 Stars for KB Andrew’s book, Wrapped In Hope.
