Scout Beckett has always wanted to run a ranch, not just work it under the purview of his older sibling. He wants to do something different from his family’s horses and beef cattle: he wants to own a dairy farm. To this end, Scout has been working on one as a foreman, and his mentor had always promised it would be Scout’s after he passed. But when the owner dies, he wills it to his city-slicker … city-slicker granddaughter instead; leaving Scout in charge of a farm that will never be his.
Stella has worked for a nonprofit for years, helping to feed starving children in third-world countries. When she comes home for the funeral to say goodbye to her grandfather, the only stability she’s ever known, she finds herself falling into the arms of sexy cowboy Scout when shared loss and simple comfort turns to a night of passion before they each go their separate ways.
But three months later, Stella returns to the ranch, faced with the stipulations of her grandfather’s will: she must stay for the better part of the year, or lose the ranch to charity. Not only that, but she has to tell her one-night stand that he’s going to be a daddy. When the shock of her pregnancy wears off, Stella vows to ride out the will’s rule and get back to her old life as soon as possible.
But as Stella slowly remembers why she’s always loved the place she’s come back to, Scout has to decide if he’s okay with never owning the land he works. Is having a family enough? Or will he pass on love and passion for a farm of his own?

Leslie does it again with this series. The series is of the Beckett brothers. This book is about Scout and Stella. If you have not read the previous two books, their parents were killed in accident leaving Branson as the oldest to take over the family ranch. Well Scout didn’t want to run the family ranch but instead a dairy farm, so he takes a job as a foreman with the promise that once the owner retires, he would purchase this from him. Well of course things don’t turn out this way as the owner passes away and he leaves his dairy farm to his granddaughter, Stella. Note, Stella is a city girl, she has no intentions on staying on a farm, so when they both meet, a connection is made but is it enough to have them stay together. This is a great ending to this series, and I love the banter between the characters. I can’t wait for another cowboy series as she does a fabulous job with them.

Book three in the Beckett Brothers series a well written story. This is Scout Beckett and Stella Steadman’s story one I enjoyed reading. I wonder if there is going to be another book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the third Beckett Brothers book and it is Scout’s story. Scout wants to run a ranch and enjoys the work on his family’s but he wants to switch it up to a dairy farm and hopefully one day his own. Scout gets a job as a foreman on a dairy farm where the owner promised to leave it to him after he dies. Sounds like a perfect plan for Scout. But the dairy farm owner passes away and the dairy farm is not left to Scout but to the owner’s granddaughter from the city. Scout is beside himself with what to do but then he meets Stella. Stella is a city girl who works for a non profit that helps feed children in third world countries. She comes out to the ranch for her grandfather’s funeral and she and Scout find comfort in each other before Stella heads back to the city and leaves the running of the ranch in Scout’s capable hands. There are some twists in the will that force Scout and Stella back into each others space and some truths that will also impact the future. Can these two find a HEA together?

Scout planned on buying his bosses dairy farm, his boss dies and leaves it to his granddaughter Stella. She doesn’t want the farm because her work takes her all over the world. She agrees to sell it to Scout and ends up having a one night stand with him. She needs to go back and finish her contract and then she’ll come back and sell the farm. She finds out she’s pregnant and everything changes. I really like this book.
Wrangling his pregnant cowgirl is Book three In the Beckett Brother series. Scout Beckett has longed for the day when he can own his own farm, when tragedy happens everything changes in ways Scout didn’t see coming. Stella comes home for a family tragedy but is shocked to learn of the conditions on the will. Will either of Scout of Stella find what they are both looking for or will love and something more be there for them. A warm and grata story.

Gathered for George Steadman’s funeral, Scout Beckett, as the foreman of George’s dairy farm for the past six years, told the pastor to go ahead since they had waited over a half-hour already for the man’s only living relative. As they proceeded, red-headed Stella, in a black dress and cowboy boots, walked across the field toward them. Then they all headed back to the house for a small get-together. By the time everyone left, Stella had been awake for a day and a half and was totally exhausted.
Scout took her into a room with a warm fire and they sat on the couch. He made her a whiskey sour and then talked about her kind grandfather who loved her so much. She was drawn to him to hear more because she saw in his eyes that he loved her grandfather too. Then he announced that dancing helped and, despite her not knowing how, he reassured her that he did know and it would okay. They laughed at her resisting his lead since she wasn’t used to it, and finally she relaxed and learned to follow the dance. He spun her around and made her laugh. Figuring now maybe she could sleep, he surprised her with a kiss that changed her world!
He brought her a cup of coffee in the morning, then told her to come to the kitchen for breakfast when she was dressed. Stella had to return to an unfinished project overseas where she worked with the poor in developing countries. When she returned in a couple months, she would sell the farm to Scout.
Stella just makes it home in time to keep to the terms of the Will or lose the farm to charity. But there’s more news for Scout when she comes home – she’s pregnant with his child! Neither of them had thought of a family. It was only a meaningless one-night-stand. How would they react? Would she still sell the farm to him? Would she stay or return to the life she had chosen for herself? No doubt about it, there were some major decisions facing the two of them. What would they do?
This is a slower-paced story line that lets the reader get to know the characters to have a basis for what they will choose in their current situations. Both will have to grow up some and consider love, sacrifice, and how their choices will affect each other and their child. Grab your copy and see if they can resolve the situation in a way that is right for each of them.
I still think these guys are dumber than a box of rocks, it at least they get their HEA in the end. These two have the others beat hands down though. They’re both so independent they don’t know how to rely on one another instead of it all being me me me. I enjoyed these boys stories and can’t wait to see what’s next for the author.

Wrangling His Pregnant Cowgirl by Leslie North. This is Scout and Stella’s story. I really love this story. Scout knew that he wanted the diary farm and he did what it took to get it. But George left it to his granddaughter after he died. Scout and Stella had a one night stand and now she promised to sell him the farm. But she back now and she’s pregnant with his child. I love watching them fall in love, something she never really had only from her grandfather. Neither was ready for anything more but the more they were together the stronger the feelings. I love to see a man that cherished his woman. The care and protection he showed her. But they both didn’t know how to express what they felt until it was almost to late. Good, enjoyed read. Made me smile at the wonderful characters and their family. Brotherhood/Sisterhood makes for a heartfelt story.

Scout dedicated 6 years to a man he respected and loved, when he died his granddaughter had to fulfill the terms of his will 9 month staying on the family ranch. An unexpected surprise and life for both Scout and Stella is turned upside down. The characters were so animated, strong spirited and stubborn, but a love grew between them was was so magical the story just makes your heart pitter patter. I read the book straight through I couldn’t put it down, the sassy independant redhead is the perfect character to get Scout to end his stubborn streak. Just loved it.

Scout Beckett runs a dairy farm for his mentor who promised it would be Scout’s after he dies. Only he left it to his granddaughter instead. The night of the burial Stella (granddaughter) and Scout drank a little to much and the celebration of life becomes a one night stand. Three months later Stella comes back to the ranch to face the stipulation of the will and tell Scout he is going to be a father. Stella is not ready to give up her career and Scout is just not ready for marriage. Neither of them are ready to marry.

4.5 stars. Stella comes back to attend her grandfather’s funeral. He has willed his farm to her. Scout has been working and saving to buy the farm for six years. After the funeral they have an intimate encounter. Two months later there is an unexpected surprise. The will says she must live on the farm for nine months before she can sell it. So she is back in country, at the farm and tells Scout he will be a daddy. Life goes smoothly until it doesn’t, rinse and repeat. There are some significant things in the way like her job, apartment and how to share the baby. Nicely written. I enjoyed reading this book and liked more than many of her others.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
This was a beautiful story.
I loved evrry word of it, even when Scout was being particularly hardheaded.
I am sad to see the end of the Beckett Brothers, but I know Leslie has more in the works.

Loved it! Scout is thrown for a loop when he finds out he is going to be a father. Stella is thrown for a similar loop because having a baby isn’t in her plan. These two people try to come to terms with the impending parenthood as they get to know each other. Unfortunately, they are on polar opposites of the thought process on how to proceed and give their baby the life her or she deserves. Their drama is high and Scout and Stella are put to the test with their emotions, hopes and futures. It’s touching how Scout leans on his brothers and how Stella find friendship in his sisters-in-law because it takes the outside perspective to give them the clarity they need. I definitely recommend this final Beckett brother book.

Final Book in the Series is Impressive.
This is Book three of the series and perhaps the most complicated of the three relationships. This story has dairy ranch foreman Scout, youngest brother of Bran and Hunter (books 1 and 2 respectively). The owner of the ranch, George has passed and his granddaughter, Stella has arrived from overseas. After one night of passion she ends up pregnant. Three months later she returns to the ranch to figure out her life which means Scout must do the same once he learns about his impending fatherhood, and what’s to be done with the ranch.
It’s not smooth sailing by any means but it’s realistic.
I liked this and the whole series therefore am recommending this and the series for your reading enjoyment and pleasure. I think it’s well worth your time. Peace.

Some times what seem wrong turns out right.
While reading this you can understand how Scout might feel betrayed by a man who meant so much to him. Then down the road things taking a real twist not once but twice. Stella is not sure what to do make promises then decides that perhaps she will change her mind? It was a good story with a good ending and you want to see them get it together, but is that possible? This is a great book to have in your collection. I enjoyed it. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
