Scout Beckett has always wanted to run a ranch, not just work it under the purview of his older sibling. He wants to do something different from his family’s horses and beef cattle: he wants to own a dairy farm. To this end, Scout has been working on one as a foreman, and his mentor had always promised it would be Scout’s after he passed. But when the owner dies, he wills it to his city-slicker … city-slicker granddaughter instead; leaving Scout in charge of a farm that will never be his.
Stella has worked for a nonprofit for years, helping to feed starving children in third-world countries. When she comes home for the funeral to say goodbye to her grandfather, the only stability she’s ever known, she finds herself falling into the arms of sexy cowboy Scout when shared loss and simple comfort turns to a night of passion before they each go their separate ways.
But three months later, Stella returns to the ranch, faced with the stipulations of her grandfather’s will: she must stay for the better part of the year, or lose the ranch to charity. Not only that, but she has to tell her one-night stand that he’s going to be a daddy. When the shock of her pregnancy wears off, Stella vows to ride out the will’s rule and get back to her old life as soon as possible.
But as Stella slowly remembers why she’s always loved the place she’s come back to, Scout has to decide if he’s okay with never owning the land he works. Is having a family enough? Or will he pass on love and passion for a farm of his own?

This was the last book in the Beckett series. This one was about Scout the youngest sibling. Scout wanted to find his own way in life so after college he started working on George Steadman’s farm with the stipulation that one day he would sell it to him. After years of turning the farm into a profitable business Scout is living his dream. George falls ill and passes away. He leaves the farm to his granddaughter. Scout and Stella agree that she’ll sell him the farm. They spend the night together and they part ways. Stella finds out that she is pregnant and this story really begins. I loved this story and the characters. Excellent writing.

Stella has been working for a nonprofit for years helping people in countries without certain necessities. She comes home for her grandfather’s funeral to the only home she ever really had. Scout thought that he would be getting the ranch he had been working side by side with his mentor on however he gets a shock when the will is to be read. Stella got the ranch with conditions that she had to live on it for so long in order to get it. Sloan was upset and not in the mood to be helpful yet Stella shocked him with her ideas about making the place better. Things get heated between them and they sleep together before she leaves to tie up her contract with the nonprofit so she can work on the ranch full time. When she returns she surprises Scout with not only her knowledge of how to make certain things better on the ranch but that she is pregnant with his child. Will they be able to work everything out to be together?
This is a great story that will have you drawn into their world from the first chapter. the chemistry between them is scorching hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is the third book by Leslie North that I have read and it is not going to be the last one. Scout worked as foreman for Stella’s grandfather prior to his death. Stella travels the world helping third world farmers learn how to improve their farming practices, and while she assumes she will inherit her grandfather’s farm, she agrees to sell it to Scout so that she can continue her non-profit work. She and Scout have a one night stand which results in her pregnancy. Her grandfather’s will requires that she live on the farm for a year which gives Stella and Scout time to know each other and work out how to be parents together – neither of which are straight forward.
My favorite part of the book was watching the process Scout and Stella each went through as they learned how to be partners. Stella’s upbringing was unconventionaldid not so she doesn’t know how to share responsibilities with anyone else. Scout isn’t good at communicating what he is thinking. Luckily their friends and family help them find the way to a good partnership.
Although it is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. If you like small town romances, this would be a good book for you!
I received a free copy of the book from NetGalley and I am reviewing it honestly.
Leslie North is an auto-buy author for me and this book is the prime example of why. She never disappoints, each and every time I pick up one of her books, it doesn’t matter if it’s the first time or the 10 times I’ve read the book always leaves me with a smile on my face and coming back for more. This one is a sexy and irresistible story for fans of cowboys/cowgirls romance or just fans of Leslie North. Happy reading!!

A emotional, sexy, fun and engaging romantic journey filled with lots of witty banter, shared heartache, interesting charters and undeniable passion… was a great read from beginning to end and I really adored this Beckett Brother’s story.
This is the story of Scout Beckett, the youngest of the Beckett brothers. His goal has always been to have his own farm and has worked for 6 years on George Steadmans farm bringing it back to a profitable place. When George passes away, instead of leaving the farm to Scout, he leaves it to his granddaughter, Stella. When Stella comes home for the funeral, she and Scout have a one night stand. Stella plans go back to finish a job and then return to the farm and sell it to Scout, but according to the will she has to stay on the farm for 9 months or it will be sold and the proceeds go to charity. Except she discovers her one night stand left her with an unexpected surprise. Good storyline and I loved the characters. Quick read that is entertaining and heartwarming.

Two strong willed people who decide to finally come to an agreement. Very easy to fall in love with the story as well as the characters in it. It has a good dialogue, romance, angst and all the elements that make an enjoyable read. I have read quite a few of Leslie’s books and I cannot say that I have ever read one that I was not happy with. Good author.

Third and final book in the Beckett brothers series from the very talented Leslie North and once again it is a great read that keeps you engaged until you turn that last page
This is Scout Beckett’s story he has always been different to his brother he is interested in beef cattle or horse no he wants to raise dairy cows so he has been working as foreman on a dairy farm with the understanding that the farm would be left to him when his mentor died. Then the unthinkable happened the farm is actually left to Stella she has been travelling the world working with charities to feed starving children They spend the night together after bonding over their mutual loss after the funeral Now months later Stella ghas returned she has to live on the farm or she will loose it but even worse she has to tell her one night stand and foreman that he will be a daddy. Do these two have any chance of forming a relationship together and will they get a HEA
Here we have the third and last story in a trilogy of Wrangling … They have all been good and this one certainly was no exception. It is a good story with a solid storyline and good characters. It more or less gave me everything I wanted – a good time while reading and this story certainly delivers that. So I am giving it beautiful four stars.

The last of the Beckett boys runs into love but does not immediately recognize this. After having had a one-night stand with the granddaughter of his deceased boss, she appears to be pregnant with his child. He immediately feels the need of protecting her and the unborn child. The problem is that Stella is a very independent lady who is not used to making decisions for her. With a job where she travels the world, she doesn’t know how to give Scout a place in the lives of her and their unborn child. In addition, Scout still wants to take over the farm where he has worked for so long with the expectation of being able to take over after the death of his boss. If only she should trust Scout to take care of her …… but that is not the life lesson that Stella has learned so far in life. How can they find a solution for this?
Where Stella has learned to trust only herself, Scout does demand a lot from her. Scout wants to do the right thing and doesn’t understand Stella’s problem. He can take care of them all, as long as Stella trusts that. Even though they try to discuss their problems, it seems that Stella in particular must change things and that Scout can continue as he has always done. Where do they find the compromise and where does their love for each other find a place?
Nice to meet Bran and Hunter again, but especially their women who play an important role in this part, to give Stella the feeling that she is not alone and has a family around her.

An enjoyable entertaining ranch romance story. This well written storyline had me interested from beginning to end. It has struggles and compromises from interesting well developed characters as one grieving night has them working changing their game plan giving them a HEA. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.
Leslie does another fantastic job with this addition to the Did Someone Say Cowboy series. Strong and well developed characters, a story line that is wonderfully written and fun to read. Scout and Stella have an intimate moment when Stella is back for her grandfather’s funeral and a couple months later she has a surprise. Her grandfather has left his farm to her but she must live on the farm for 9 months before she’s allowed to sell. Scout has been saving for years to buy the farm but will the news of him becoming a daddy be more than he can handle? Will Stella stay or go back to her job and how will they share the responsibility of a child?

Stella had to learn early to be self-supportive, even though her grandfather was always there to back her up and help when necessary. But for a day-to-day life, he often was too far away. When he dies though she is losing her only anchor in the world.
The funeral leads to a drunken one-night stand with consequences – she gets pregnant. Telling the father has a surprising effect on him and his family.
Stella learns for the first time what it is to have support and friendship, but old habits die hard. And she is not the only one. Scout also struggles to find a solution so that he can keep his dream of a ranch as well as a woman and his baby nearby.
The struggle makes this book worth reading, as they learn that there is more than black and white, that compromise is the key to relationships.
A good story, solid entertainment.

They both have different dreams, but a baby changes everything.
Scout Beckett is the youngest of the brothers. He went to work for George Steadman right out of school and now, six years later, he’s burying George and George’s granddaughter Stella is there for the funeral. They hook up and three months later, Stella is back due to a stipulation in the will (she has to stay for the rest of the year). And oh, surprise. She’s pregnant.
Can Scout realize his dream has changed?
Maybe sonhas Stella’s.

I am glad to get Scout’s story. I felt for him after he wanted was hoping for the farm after his boss dies but finds out it was willed to Stella. I loved that Scout wanted to be in the babies life and will be able to get the farm. I am happy that Stella and Scout got their happy ending.

The terrific storyline and the great characters captured my attention from the very beginning and wouldn’t let me go until I finished reading the very last page! I always enjoy reading what this author writes!
This is another wonderful story in this series, it’s well-written with likable characters, they have their moments and flaws but that makes them more relatable.

WRANGLING HIS PREGNANT COWGIRL (Beckett Brothers Book 3) By Leslie North
This is the 3rd book in the Beckett Brothers trilogy. This has Scout, the youngest Beckett, working as foreman on a dairy farm. The owner, George has promised it would be Scout’s when he passes away. However he leaves it to Stella his granddaughter instead, although she has no intention of coming and living at the farm. Her life takes her to 3rd world countries to help starving children and she is planning on staying with it. The day of the funeral finds them sharing a night mourning her grandfather, one thing leads to another and they end up hooking up for the night. 3 months later, there is a surprise for both of them. This was a good story. I give it 4 stars.

Scout has been the ranch manager for the last six years, saving up to purchase it from George. Unfortunately, George passed away. His granddaughter, Stella comes to Gopher Springs for the funeral, and spends a passionate night with Scout, and then disappears. In a surprise move, George left the ranch to Stella. The terms of the inheritance are that she has to live on the ranch for 9 months out of the first year, then she can do with it what she wants. When she finally comes back (just in the nick of time), she announces to Scout that they’re going to be parents. They both have issues to work through, a lot of soul-searching, and they need to learn to open up and be honest about their feelings as they work toward their happy ending. I loved this book – so nice to see the third Beckett brother find his forever. I love that the author writes books in short series – I always know that I’m going to get wonderful characters who belong together, and a terrific story with just the right amount of drama.
