Scout Beckett has always wanted to run a ranch, not just work it under the purview of his older sibling. He wants to do something different from his family’s horses and beef cattle: he wants to own a dairy farm. To this end, Scout has been working on one as a foreman, and his mentor had always promised it would be Scout’s after he passed. But when the owner dies, he wills it to his city-slicker … city-slicker granddaughter instead; leaving Scout in charge of a farm that will never be his.
Stella has worked for a nonprofit for years, helping to feed starving children in third-world countries. When she comes home for the funeral to say goodbye to her grandfather, the only stability she’s ever known, she finds herself falling into the arms of sexy cowboy Scout when shared loss and simple comfort turns to a night of passion before they each go their separate ways.
But three months later, Stella returns to the ranch, faced with the stipulations of her grandfather’s will: she must stay for the better part of the year, or lose the ranch to charity. Not only that, but she has to tell her one-night stand that he’s going to be a daddy. When the shock of her pregnancy wears off, Stella vows to ride out the will’s rule and get back to her old life as soon as possible.
But as Stella slowly remembers why she’s always loved the place she’s come back to, Scout has to decide if he’s okay with never owning the land he works. Is having a family enough? Or will he pass on love and passion for a farm of his own?

With what all Stella has beh through with her mom and then losing the only stable person who cared so much for her gone. How could she rely on him when she did not know how he truly felt besides showing love and care for their baby? Scout has his hands full to convince Stella of what he truly wants and loves more than owning his own farm.

Scott Beckett had always dreamed of owning his own ranch and when his boss passes away he plans on buying the ranch from the owner’s granddaughter, Stella. Only that became a complicated situation as Stella finds out she is pregnant with Scott’s baby and the will stipulates she needs to spend nine months on the ranch in order for her to inherit it. The chemistry is there but finding a way to.please both of them could prove difficult.
This is a great heartwarming, contemporary romance. The characters are carefully crafted and are so lifelike, filled with personality, flaws and wit. The story line is easy to read but is also full of surprises, twists and turns and bumps in the road. There is some heat to the book as well. What I enjoyed most about the book was the emotional rollercoaster and the way the characters changed as they dealt with their internal struggles and external obstacles, overcoming them to find out what is really important and what can make them truly happy. I felt good after reading this book as it is filled with hope for the future. If you enjoy a good romance then give this one a read.

Alpha cowboy + independent cowgirl + ulterior plan from beyond = one great story
Wrangling His Pregnant Cowgirl is the last Beckett Brothers story. It opens as everyone is waiting at the graveside of George Steadman. Scout Beckett has worked at the foreman at George’s dairy farm for the last years and had plans to buy it from him. George’s granddaughter, Stella, is running late and when she finally appears the proceedings start with a small gathering afterwards.
When Scout and Stella encounter each other there are more than a few fireworks which culminates in an explosive night together. But Stella has to return to her home and work and so she leaves. Scout still thought he could purchase the farm but there is a caveat in old George’s will that puts a major kink in that plan, and it involves Stella. That is not the only kink in Scout’s plans as it turns out that as one thing dies another is born in the circle of life, or at least in 9 months there will be.
Wrangling His Pregnant Cowgirl is another wonderful and sweet, with some dirty added also, story by Leslie North. Scout and Stella were a fun and frustrating couple as they both tried to figure out how to navigate the kinks and wrenches that kept getting thrown in their paths until they both realized that grandpa George might just have had an ulterior plan after all.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
This book was gripping, well written & the chemistry between the characters, Lucius, Scout & Stella, sizzled throughout this wonderful read.
Well done Leslie. I look forward to more!
he wants a fancy of his own to raise dairy cattle so he goes to work at another hoping for a chance to own it. He is unlucky as when he does he gives it all to his granddaughter. They share one night together at the funeral. Now she is back carrying his baby. What will happen? can he stay in a fancy he will never own? What about his baby? See what he will do

3.5 Stars
This is book 3 in the “Did Somebody Say Cowboy?” series and it features Scout and Stella. The ranch should’ve been his. Instead George left it to his granddaughter with the stipulation that she live there for nine months. Since Scout is the foreman, he’ll continue to run it until she can sell it to him. Their attraction felt natural. They had a certain easiness when together. Then the unexpected happened and everything that was so wonderful was no longer. Scout must’ve left all his commonsense at the door because the words that came out of his mouth and thoughts in his head were unreal.
The characters are great and there was good flow to the story line. Though he didn’t seem like it through most of the book, Scout ended up being much too selfish and hardheaded for my taste.
The third in this series does not disappoint. Two very different people with separate life goals learn to compromise and find their HEA.

Scout the youngest of the Beckett Boys has been working on a Ranch for the last 6 years in hopes of purchasing it. When George the owner dies and his granddaughter, Stella, shows up for the funeral Scout is drawn to her and they end up getting to know each other better. When she leaves to go back to work before fulfilling the terms of the will Scout assumes nothing will change but little does he know his world is turned upside-down. Scout has got to learn how to show how he feels and Stella has to learn that you do not always have to be an island of one to be happy in life but it takes a little piece of the unexpected to throw them into a life neither one of them expected.
I loved this book and it’s previous in the series. I wish there was more of a romantic relationship between the two main characters but loved the way the author integrated the Beckett Family Seamlessly into the story so you felt like you were not missing out on any of the story. This is a 5 star book in a 5 star series from a great author. Cannot wait to read what other books she has available.

This is a quick to read novella. Compromise is the name of the game when an unexpected pregnancy turns everything upside down for Stella and Scout. He’s a Texas cowboy who wants to put down roots at his own farm. She travels the globe, nine to eleven months out of the year, to help third world countries in farming. Does she stay after the baby is born or does she leave? Well, there is one Texas cowboy who wants them both to stay. Scout is such a sweetheart!

Will Stella settle with Scout with a baby in their future
Leslie is my #1 author as love all her stories whether a sheik, cowboy, prince or …! Scout has been working the dairy farm with the plan that he would purchase the farm some day. Stella, the owner’s granddaughter returns for her grandfather’s funeral and is more than comforted by Scout. Yet Stella returns to her job in a third world county and Scout sees his future crumbling when the will is read stipulating that Stella has to live on the farm for a year or lose it entirely. Will Stella change her career with a baby in her future and consider something more with Scout? You have to read to find out and won’t want to put the book down until you turn the last page.
Scout and Stella work, although it doesn’t seem like they should. Scout is discontent because the ranch he thought would be his isn’t. Stella has a ranch that she doesn’t want, but isn’t willing to walk away from the wills demands. These two are thrust together in an instant and what plays out is fun to watch.

This is the third and final book of the Beckett brothers.
Scout finally finds love but doesn’t know it until his two older brothers point it out.
Stella is home for her grandfather’s funeral and she and Scout end up in bed together.
The ranch that Scout has worked so hard on and for has slipped through his grasp unless Stella agrees to sell it to him.
Stella goes back to her job in another third world country but has to decide if she wants the ranch or not. In order to hold onto the ranch she must reside there for nine months of the first year so she decides to go home again since she has some news to share with Scout.
As this sweet love story moves on it seems these two have more in common than the baby they created.
Third book in the “Beckett Brothers” series and it is absolutely fantastic! A flawless read that flows smoothly with ideas that are well-developed and consistent. It is an emotionally deep read with some drama, humour, and will pull on your heart strings. Loveable characters – their chemistry is amazing. A really great series! Definitely recommended!

Wrangling His Pregnant Cowgirl is another fast moving, drama packed, sincere story by Leslie North and wraps up the trilogy about the Beckett Brothers with heartfelt emotion and some family angst. Ms North’s portrayal of Stella and Scout’s characters was done with genuine feeling and highlighted their personal baggage and the difficulties they each faced letting go of their perceived insignificance in their family’s eyes. I can’t wait for the next exciting and captivating series by this author!
Romance finds a foothold on the cliffs of heartache. Wrangling His Pregnant Cowgirl hits a ton of bumps in the road before allowing itself to run free. Stella and Scout are brought together by a heartbreaking loss, forced apart by a will and reunited by an unexpected blessing. North proves a little matchmaking and a ton of hope goes a long way.
Scout Beckett is the youngest of the Beckett brothers. Scout has always wanted to own a ranch and took a job as foreman for George Steadman’s dairy farm. George promised Scout that the farm would be his when he passed on, but George leaves his dairy farm to his granddaughter, Stella. Stella has worked for a non-profit for several years, helping to feed starving people in third world nations. Stella makes it just in time for George’s funeral. By the time everyone leaves, Stella is completely exhausted since she has been awake for a day and a half. Scout and Stella share an amazing kiss that leads to a night that rocks each other’s world. The next day, Stella promises to return in a couple of months after finishing a project overseas to sell Scout the farm. Stella makes it home just in time to keep the terms of her grandfather’s will, or end up losing the farm to charity. Stella has a surprise for Scout-she is pregnant with his child. Neither planned this to happen from a one night stand. Will Stella sell Scout the farm when the terms of the will are met? Will Stella stay on the farm with Scout, or will she take the baby and go back to her work for the non-profit overseas? Will Scout realize that he loves Stella and wants her and the baby to be his family? I really enjoyed Wrangling His Pregnant Cowgirl by Leslie North. Wrangling His Pregnant Cowgirl is a great book about love, sacrifice, and compromise. I would recommend getting Wrangling His Pregnant Cowgirl by Leslie North.
