This three book collection is about 3 wounded warriors (2 brothers in blood and one in friendship) and the ladies who help them find themselves and the means of mastering their demons and scars. Each lady also has to find their own strengths to master their challenges and threats. Well written and definitely page turners.
This fictional trilogy realistically shares the paths the returning United States’ wounded warriors take and their families powerful love and patience for their healing.
Wonderful story lines about brave men and the women who love them
didn’t want it to end
the whole set was great reading. I could not put it down.
Would not consider this book light reading as it deals with so many PTSD issues.
All three books were enjoyable.
Sorry, not a fan of the 3 stories. I found the heroines a bit annoying. First story – It looked as though Jake didn’t even care that he had cheated on his girlfriend. Second story – Lauren simply couldn’t forgive Shane and give him a second chance initially. Third story – What’s with Brent’s hair? He seemed to be bald, had a buzz cut and Natalie was able to brush off the hair on his forehead. Really?
This collection of stories never did suck me in, and I usually enjoy this sort of story. Writing i s very formulaic.
I found it boring and predictable. I did not even finish the first story.
