When Jaclyn Douglas is posted to Bindarra Creek Central School as the new principal, she has plans to bring the school forward. Hiding a difficult past behind an aloof exterior, this committed career woman finds it hard to be accepted by the community. When Ryan Rossiter, her nemesis, turns up in town, Jaclyn wonders what else can go wrong in her life. If only Ryan wasn’t one of the good guys.… guys.
Ryan Rossiter has had enough of city life and moves to his property on the outskirts of Bindarra Creek. He can’t afford to live off the land, so he continues his work as a building contractor for the Education Department. Meeting up with Jaclyn again is a shock, because he knows very well why she can’t be trusted.
Why has she moved to this small loyal community? Can Ryan believe her assertion that she is here to stay?
And more to the point, can he resist the attraction that this woman holds for him, or will she pull him into her web of lies?

This might be that I have not read this series and will now have to go back, but this was super short read with not a lot of build up in the main relationship (the falling in love part- just seems to happen- kiss and done).
I really did like the author’s writing style, but how the two end up was super short and need a little more time, but again maybe that is because I haven’t read the others. The setting is wonderful and Seaton sets up this place even for us non Aussies to understand. The community part is wonderful , school, the little old ladies, just the love part- Just wanted more.

Worth the Wait – This is my first read by this author and I enjoyed this delightful romance mixed with a bit of intrigue. Of course, it helps that it is set New South Wales, Australia.
Interesting storylines blend together well with a good cast of characters and the author’s talent of storytelling. Her vivid descriptions build a great picture of everything from characters to locations to emotions.. awe
The writing style is laid back making it easy to get lost within the pages. I found this book on Booksprout. 4*
A great small town romance with some mystery woven in. A fun read. I love the setting and am looking forward to reading more in this series and more from this author.

Book four in the Bindarra Creek A Town Reborn series and the first book by this Author that I have read. I found it to be well written with a very good storyline, the story flowed smoothly across the pages. Principal Jaclyn Douglas and contractor Ryan Rossiter do not start off to well, but I enjoyed reading how they got their happy ending. I am really enjoying this series and this one is a beautiful romance story of second chances and some suspense thrown in as well between Jaclyn Douglas and Ryan Rossiter, who arrive in Bindarra Creek unbeknownst to each other, to start new jobs can they start again where they left off in the city?
Jaclyn Douglas has taken the job of principal at the Bindarra Creek Central School, after a difficult situation in the city, she comes across as aloof but she is determined to get this school back to its best, but when she meets up with Ryan her ex her emotions are all over the place, trying to fit into the small community is not easy at first and with someone from her past causing problems Ryan just might be the one person that she can turn to.
Ryan Rossiter is a country boy at heart and after being in the city moving back to the country and buying a farm is just what he needs he is working for the Department of Education as a building contractor which means he is now going to have to work with Jaclyn the woman he never forgot, but he feels that she is worrying over something can he convince her to open up to him? Can he keep her safe?
I loved this fast paced story, that has everything a romance reader would enjoy, I loved Ryan what a caring loving helpful hero and Jaclyn is strong and caring but so vulnerable after what had happened to her in the city and journeying with them as they find love and happiness in this small community was a joy to read, thank you MS Seaton for a great story.
