Kasey Lane is having a bad week.
Understatement.
Her idea of success never involved losing her job, man, and apartment in 24-hours. Now, with nowhere to go and no way to pay for it anyway, Kasey decides it’s time for a fresh start, which means a new apartment, a new career, and… no men.
But as a magnet for ridiculousness and absurd brushes with the law, her start goes from fresh to stale in … goes from fresh to stale in record time. It doesn’t help that Mr. Wrong keeps showing up during her adventures gone awry and taking over. Now, as Kasey plans her way to independence she has to decide if the only path to success is going it alone… or if maybe a partner in crime can make the journey sweeter.

Loved this book. What happens when you are a few days away from moving in with your long time boyfriend and you lose your job? When he breaks up with you (because you can’t afford to live with him!) and he gives you back your first month’s rent and breaks up with you? Love how Kasey keeps running into a cop — her “revenge” on her ex is …
I absolutely loved this book. Any book that makes me laugh until I am crying is my kind of book!
Light, funny, my kind of quirky! 🙂
I loved the characters, the witty dialogue, and the weird – and often hilarious – situations Kasey managed to get herself into.
The third story in the series I have read, definitely not my last – and so far my favourite. 🙂
This book kept me up until 1 a.m. (way past my bedtime on a ‘school night’), because I …
Enjoyable read
Scatter brained girl falls in love. Good story
Abrupt ending, but still a fun journey
A bit humorous
Excellent read! Romantic and sweet like a Hallmark Movie!
Loved it. Laugh out loud funny
I normally don’t read books written in the first person but I decided to keep reading and I’m glad I did. I really enjoyed the book. The characters were great and I haven’t laughed so much in a long time. It’s a great read and very funny.

Very believable & fun, both in humor & actions

Lovely, fun story to read. Loved the characters and their real life problems. Lots of fun to read!
Fell in love with the characters and how roles get defined in life by others around them in spite of changes that developed. Just like in real life, people get threatened when those roles start changing, afraid to adapt to wanting to cling to the past rather than letting them evolve.
You know from the beginning how the book will end but the characters make the journey fun. There is a lot of humor and quirkiness that makes this book a light easy book for something fun on a Sunday afternoon.
This was my first time reading this author. The book was really funny. I really enjoyed this book.
A lot of build up and a let down ending. They hated each other most of the book. Then they give in to the attraction finally. Then it ends. I feel like I wasted my time.
Enjoyed. Kasey is like most women who have come out of a bad relationship. She is trying g to figure out how to survive her misfortune, how did she get into this situation, how can she get her life back on track, and how can she trust her own decisions. Wow! That is a whole lot of doubt.
To hard to follow
