I loved Drew & Gemma’s story, from the moment they first meet you can feel the spark between them . I love how their relationship develops through out the book.
In the course of true love Drew does something stupid & breaks up with Gemma ( I cried with Gemma) and wanted to hit Drew. This book is a compelling read & one you are going to love.
Drew & Gemma’s story is a compelling & scorching hot read, a perfect romance book
No true words can fully describe how much I loved this story! After reading the first two books in the series, I was hoping Drew would get his own story. He is such an endearing character, who is loyal, loving, funny and deliciously dirty. His best friends Rory and Jess have been trying to find the right woman for him, but Drew is content with his life. Until the day he meets Gemma. A beautiful, young, redhead who turns his head and his heart right around. Plus, like myself, she is a lover of all things flamingo, so she’s got my vote!
As I read, I completely fell in love with these two. They are just perfect for each other. Not to mention how their chemistry is so sizzling, the pages burned up as I turned them! But Drew has some issues from his past that may threaten this new relationship. Can Gemma prove to him that no matter what, they belong together? I rooted for this couple throughout the entire book, and so will you! This series is incredible and this book just proved to me why I love Drew so much. It’s a truly enjoyable read and I highly recommend it!!
What a hot read! This book kept me up all night. Drew and Gemma are an explosive couple. I loved the sharp, witty, funny dialogue in this story. It gave me quite a few laughs and so much insight into the characters that populate the pages. I’m pretty sure my Kindle was smoking all night. You’ll need to crank up the AC to the max to get through the heat that Drew and Gemma make when they’re together. And they’re together a lot.
Lissanne Jones proves once again that she was meant to write love stories with Worth the Chance . I was impatiently waiting for Drew’s book and I absolutely could not put it down. He is such a lovable, sexy, flirt and I claimed him as my own right from the very beginning. Who doesn’t love a man in uniform right? Can we talk about the abs and the inches? This handsome hottie will definitely consume your mind and steal your heart. I could totally see why he fell for Gemma with her gorgeous red hair, stunning personality and heart of gold! She definitely keeps him on his toes. You need to read this book for the pier, the flamingos, Maddie and the O’s alone. Drew will excite you, frustrate you, get you all worked up in more ways than one and make you fall in love. Worth the Chance is swoon-worthy, sweet, and panty-melting hot! Oh, what I wouldn’t give to be Mrs. Sutton! A girl can dream right?
Tracey, Life Reads With Friends
Drew is a former Marine who is getting adjusted to civilian life and has realized that he wants what his best friends have, a family. Gemma is Maddie, Rory and Jess’ daughter’s pre-school teacher and is smitten with Drew when she meets him. After Jess sets them up on a blind date, things take off between them until Drew finds out that Gemma is ten years younger than him and he starts to second guess everything and needs to figure out if she is worth the chance or not.
I fell in love with Drew in Worth the Risk and could not wait for his book and Lissanne Jones did not disappoint with Worth the Chance. I felt for Drew through the book with his struggles with adjusting to civilian life, fell in love with him even more and thought Gemma was perfect for him. The chemistry and dirty talk between Drew and Gemma is beyond steamy and melts the pages. I love this group of friends and this series and hope that one day we will return to them for an update.

°**° Drew is my favourite! °**°
After reading Jess and Rory’s books, I had the highest expectations built in my head for Drew and his dirty flirty mouth, and I swear to you that author Lissanne Jones did not disappoint. In fact, anything I had in mind was blown out of the water because simply put, this book was amazing. ‘Worth the Chance’ is a stand-a-lone, meaning you don’t have to have read ‘Worth the Risk’ and ‘Worth the Wait, but seriously, you would be cheating yourself of a couple of great reads where you not only get to meet Drew, but highly anticipate reading his book!
I loved seeing the close, loving and supportive friendship that Jess and Rory had with this ex-military man, and they way that they showed him just how important he was in the lives of them and their daughter. In short, he was as much of a goner for the precocious little three-year-old girl as her parents were!
Unfortunately, Drew’s time in the military has left him with dark memories and nightmares, so I loved that he’d kept his dirty flirty spark, even if it was somewhat dull at times. Essentially, he was damaged, but still perfect.
And holy crap I loved Gemma! As a teacher to pre-schoolers, she was caring and loving, but also had a naughty down to earth side. She was just well written and perfect for him, and, I had to laugh out loud at some moments where Drew discovered just how different they were. I’d also like to point out, that this book is also a hell of a lot hotter than the others, I mean this is Drew, so it wasn’t going to be a sweet story, because you know he had to have the goods to back up all that talk!
I enjoyed Lissanne Jones written language, almost as though a discussion were being held with a good friend. The language style is warm and inviting, meaning you really want to spend time with her characters. It’s highly descriptive so you imagine you are right there with them, without an overly onerous use of words. ‘Worth the Chance is a hot, beautiful and highly recommended small-town contemporary romance that highlights the values of close friendships and unconditional love. 4.5 Stars
Drew has my heart! The steamy Ex Marine is romantic, sexy, loving and all any woman would want for a man. But he can’t be all that perfect in his own mind. He has demons of his own that is having him struggle knowing his self worth.
Gemma, the hot red headed teacher is a force that will get Drew’s attention from the first encounter. Their chemistry is off the charts. You will enjoy their story as much as I did.
This book is full of romance, hot sex scenes, love, friendship and family. You also get to enjoy lots of fun scenes and heartbreak.
Worth the Chance is a book that will grab your attention and make wish Drew was you man!
This is Lissanne’s 3rd ever book. She’s got talent and I can’t wait to see what else she will come up with.!!

I have been waiting for Drew’s book since I read Worth The Risk. I just knew his character was going to be someone special. He is someone special. I loved the banter between him and his two best friends, Rory and Jess. The relationship between him and his sister Shelley is written so well. Drew and Gemma have such a chemistry between them. The secondary characters are fantastic. This story is so beautiful. I can’t recommend this book ( actually the whole series) enough. Come join Drew and Gemma on their journey to find love and learning to overcome the emotional turmoil that tries to pull them apart.
I loved Drew’s story. Him and Gemma had me feeling a whirlwind of emotions. After reading both Worth the Risk and Worth the Wait, I was pleased to see Drew get his own book as I fell in love with his character. This series was a delight to read.
