What’s the recipe to the ultimate disaster week?Three unruly friends.A wedding we shouldn’t have been invited to.Two unexpected romances.A scoop of sexy. And a double scoop of chaos.Lydia is a good girl who is above revenge. Good thing she has us. No one cheats on our best friend and rides off into the sunset with his new bride. What was supposed to happen? Unleash hell like two badasses. It was a … supposed to happen? Unleash hell like two badasses. It was a simple plan, but we failed to anticipate a few things. A rogue prosthetic, an accidental exorcism, and dominatrix strippers willing to take things way too far, just to name a few.
What actually happened? As usual, nothing went as planned, especially when two sexy distractions popped into the mix. We were there to avenge our friend, not to get entangled with two cocky, arrogant men, who don’t like to hear the word no. I was sure we could resist.
I mean, it was only a week, right? What could happen in a week?
Not intrigued enough? There’s totally a duck in this story.
Ah yeah. Now we have your undivided attention. Enjoy our chaos.

Worth It is one of the newest titles to make it on my re-read list. spoiler free review.
I was found myself laughing non-stop from start to finish.
the antics that the characters found themselves completing and what they were putting others around them through is what kept me not wanting to put this book down. i found myself wanting the story to continue and not to end. this is one of the books so far this year that i have recommended to everyone that asks me for any book recommendations. can’t wait for the next book to be released.
Love this book!
This book is so funny!
I loved this book. It was hilarious. If you are easily offended I wouldn’t recommend it. Loved the relationship between the friends. The story was very entertaining and the characters you loved and hated appropriately. If you need a good laugh, read this book!!!
This book is hilarious! I laughed so hard reading this book my face hurt. There is also heart sweetness in this book. Only question I have after reading this book is what happened to Lydia and a happily ever after for her?
This is the funniest book I have ever read! I was literally lol-ing.
Lydia was invited to her ex’s wedding- yes, the one where he is marrying the girl he cheated on her with. Her bffs Kasha, who happens to be her ex’s step-sister, and Henley come with her to the week long event. Kasha’s mother has everything planned out perfectly for her rich, sophisticated guests. Kasha is angry at her mother because she cheated on her dad and left him, plus she despises Anderson, her step-brother, so her plan is to ruin as much of the wedding as she can. Oh and Kasha is totally accident prone, which is why she only has one arm, a prosthetic arm who loves to attack her, and everyone has seen all of the crazy underwear that she owns. After taking a shower she leaves the bathroom and there is a very sexy man in her room, but wait this is not her room. Henley also reconnects with a guy from her past and they plan to make the most of their week together. From the moment the girls arrive, to the wedding olympics, bachelorette/bachelor parties, wedding rehearsal, and the actual wedding you will be laughing and pulling for the girls. This is a must read for great laughs and fun along with some real life-changing moments for the characters.
OMG! I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard or much in a book before. Well done to both C.M Owens and S.M Shade for an exceptionally fantastic book. I have read books by C.M but I have not read anything by S.M before and It looks like I will be adding books to my tbr list now.
This book was so freaking hilarious, the bonds between these characters was remarkable. All the antics that Henley, Kasha and Lydia did had me in fits throughout the whole book, so many pranks pulled with such enthusiasm and success. I just loved all the characters, the humour, pranks and jokes.
Henley, Kasha and Lydia head off for a week to the wedding of Anderson and Jane. Anderson is the ex cheating boyfriend of Lydia and stepbrother to Kasha, so the girls decide to sabotage Anderson and Jane for hurting Lydia. But what was supposed to be a fun, relaxing, enjoyable week away on the beach turns out to be so much more.
Henley runs in to childhood boyfriend Davis who broke her heart and left her without a goodbye or explanation. But now he is here at the same wedding and all the feelings she had have come back so why not spend a week of getting him out of her system. But a week of being together may not be long enough. A smoking hot, steaming, and sexy moments are shared between Henley and Davis that will have you blushing.
Kasha is the prone accident amputee, her life is full of embarrassing moments. After falling face first in mud in front of the wedding guest, a shower is needed, but walking out in a towel and out the wrong bathroom adjoining door and coming face to face with a sexy mysterious man. Roman is just the distraction Kasha needs while being forced by her mum to attend this tedious wedding. After many embarrassing moments and weird antics, a sexy, hot relationship is formed between Kasha and Roman, but will they be able to maintain what they now have when the week comes to an end.
This is my go-to Rom Com! I absolutely adore this stand-alone and really hope they do another! I have never laughed so much in a book! Anyone who is looking for a steamy, laugh-out-loud, take your mind of the world with a contemporary comedy, this is the read for you!
One of the funniest best friend story lines I have ever read. If you are into revenge and care free characters this is the book for you. Just remember, you can’t mess with one friend without getting all three.
Charming and lighthearted.
Unexpectedly funny. I didn’t know anything about this book or author. It was funny and entertaining.
I really liked this book there was a few things that were little much and I felt like I should have had more of a story for Lydia. Overall funny and entertaining
Any book with multiple points of view being given to the reader can either be really insightful and well done or questionably confusing. I would say I had a lot of fun reading the perspectives of the two girls, Henley and Kasha. However, I would have really loved to read the third friend, Lydia’s perspective as well. I am certain the author’s had their reasoning for leaving out Lydia’s perspective, but for me I was left wondering why she was excluded. I was even great getting the small snippets of perspective from the two men at the end. It was a fun little twist to the writing. Overall, I was not confused at all with the back and forth and found their different dialogues incredibly interesting to read. The relationship between Kasha and her mother was an interesting dynamic and the realization they come to at the end of the book was a great addition to the story. Life is hard and a relationship with your mother can be quite difficult. For most people, our mom’s have been there for us throughout life always trying to steer us in the right direction and, if any of you are like me, you rebelled at every turn. So, this broken relationship between mother and daughter over a misunderstanding the mother had allowed herself to look like the bad guy in is completely relatable to so many people. There are so many times our parents sacrifice for us and it is difficult for us to see that full picture. So, being able to come full circle and get a different perspective through a heart-to-heart with your mom is kind of a once in a lifetime opportunity. But seriously, this book is funny. I laughed quite a bit. But, there were also parts that just left me sitting there shocked (half-way through the book, readers you will know it when you find it)! There were so many quotable lines and the characters were so much fun. I agree that Kasha was the character that stood out the most, but to me it was her over-the-top personality. Anyone who wears underwear with sayings on them instead of a thong at her age, I mean you know she has to be the most exciting person in any room. I loved how the group of friends were so close-knit and had each other’s backs. I was glad there was no drama between them, simply three girls looking to cause a bit of trouble. Trouble is exactly what they caused! All of it kept me laughing page to page.
Great story. I read it in one day. It was funny, entertaining. A great book after a hard week at work. I’d never read either author before, but I’m glad I took a chance. I now read another series by each author.
Loved this book! Wacky, funny, laughed til I was crying in parts! Highly recommend it.
I laughed out loud throughout this book, really enjoyed it.
Love the characters in this book. Kept me laughing!
*WARNING* contains explicit adult sexual situations, bad language, characters that will make you cry with laughter
Kasha, Henley, and Lydia are the best of friends. Lydia’s cheating boyfriend is now getting married and she received an invitation. Since the girls couldn’t talk Lydia out of going and the groom is Kasha’s step brother, of course they all have to go for moral support.
This is a non-stop laugh out loud journey. Don’t get me wrong here, Henley has serious trust issues due to a first love heartbreak. Kasha has appearance insecurities along with some others. The author does go into some deeper things with romance issues, but adds comedy. This book is EXCELLENT! I would give it more stars if I could.
I enjoyed this book so much! It has been a long time since I have come across such quirky and funny story with a romantic theme. The characters and situations had me laughing out loud but kept me totally engrossed. Keep them coming
Hysterical and wonderful! I haven’t read a book that had me laughing ‘til I nearly cried (repeatedly) in a long time. It was hilarious and balanced perfectly with best friends and steamy, sexy love interests. I both saw myself in the characters as well as want to be part of their trio. I loved how the authors balanced so many levels of the story so that it flowed well and included some touching moments, a BIG dose of karma, romance, and hysterical antics and fails. If you want a romantic comedy with some steam or want to satisfy vengeful feelings without getting arrested (or want inspiration), then this is a must read. It won’t disappoint!
