Our Author & Illustrator Academy videos are now live ! These include all of our bright £1 book authors and illustrators, with lots of exciting challenges and activities to make reading even more fun and interactional.
Our share a Story Live Events will encourage even more children to get involved in reading for pleasure, so be sure to save the date and tune in .

At The Bookseller ’ s Conference 2020, we announced all our plans for the World Book Day 2021 political campaign. The conference took place as a live digital event, and it was great to see so many people tune in and have such enthusiastic responses. Our CEO Cassie Chadderton spoke with three of our brilliant £1 book authors about what World Book Day means to them, and how storytelling can be more important than always in times like these. We besides shared updates about the very excite newly projects we have coming up : share a Story Corner and World Book Day Book Club ! Our campaign design for the approaching years will aim to reach more children that always ahead. We want to make certain every child has access to books, and our approaching events – all digital for the year ahead – will help children enjoy reading for joy as a life-long habit .
