Rayleen Daniels has the hots for her boss. Working alongside him as his nurse every day isn’t helping so she’ll take matters into her own hands. If the Doctor won’t man up and make a move, then it’s up to her to show him she’s ready for more. Issac Johnston burns with a deep desire for his partner on the job. Inner hospital relationships aren’t acceptable, especially those between a doctor and … doctor and his assistant, so he keeps his feelings locked down tight. It doesn’t matter if Rayleen is ready, he must keep a level head for both of them or risk their jobs.
Fate has other plans for the pair. Issac is all that stands between Rayleen and a scalpel wielding disgruntled patient with his gown in a bunch. Despite all the warnings, in the end will he realize love is worth the risk when it comes to Rayleen?
Warning: This book contains a nurse who knows what she wants (hint: it’s the doctor) and isn’t afraid to go for it. A doctor who tries to do the right thing even though it could cost him everything. And a patient whose fall off the deep end might be the glue which holds them together. Who would’ve thought?

Short Sweet, and Steamy. Issac is the doctor in the OR room and Rayleen is his OR nurse. They work well together but Ray is ready to go crazy with lust for Issac. After she makes the first move Issac seems to find his way. They both are so attracted to each other and their chemistry is off the wall. After a misunderstanding with a surgical knife and waiting for him to open his eyes Ray announces to a doctor that she can’t leave because she has to tell Issac that she loves him. Read the story to find out what happens next. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Really a great book! I adore the way Issac and Rayleen interact. I love how concerned Issac is with making sure that Rayleen stays his OR nurse, no matter what happens with their personal lives. And it was amazing that some times Rayleen has to take charge, making sure Issac doesn’t overthink things. Each is so loving and supportive of the other. Once Issac and Rayleen finally give in and confess how they feel to each other, both are all in. Wonderful!! A quick story, bit well worth reading more than once. Happy Reading!

A doctor and an OR nurse, who have worked closely side by side and hid their interest in each other, suddenly realize that both want the same thing. Loved the banter that kept the story light and how the characters interacted. The surprises and suspense keep you on the edge of your seat. Carpe Diem definitely has a strong meaning for these two people. Will be looking for more stories by this author.

**First Time Reader** I enjoyed the short romance between the surgeon and his nurse. It was cute and fun. Not sure what made Rayleen “carpe diem” all of sudden since she hidden her attraction from the hot doctor for so long but it was satisfying to see her make her move. That moment in Issac office was HOT and probably could have been explored a little more but it was great they left with an understanding of mutual attraction. Nice ending…I liked it!
