‘A must read. I love love loved this book!’ Mayhem leads to love in this new standalone romantic comedy from a USA TODAY bestseller. Within hours of meeting him, he assaulted my roommate (okay, the guy was a scuzz-bucket), flashed me his amazing abs (sure, not on purpose), and practically dragged me away from the condo I’d been sharing with the aforementioned bucket. And now Mr. Billionaire … bucket.
And now Mr. Billionaire Hottie has informed me – not too nicely, mind you – that I’ll be working for him for the whole summer, supporting his national book tour. But the funny thing is, the tour doesn’t make much sense. The odd cities, the late-night excursions, the secrets simmering between us – they’re all making me a little crazy, especially when he gives me one of those looks. You know the kind.
He’s up to something. I just know it. And I’d love to find out what. There’s just one tiny problem. With his movie star looks and devious mind, he’s distracting me to no end. And just maybe, I’m distracting him, too. But the worst thing? I’m pretty sure I like it.
Wordless is a fun, full-length new adult billionaire romantic comedy with a guaranteed happily-ever-after!

Jack is a famous author and very private. He is evasive when it comes to answering questions. Becka is very perceptive and give Jack a run for his money. The banter between them is hilarious and the storyline kept me entertained. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Secrets, redemption, a summer job, and a few near brawls … Sabrina Stark
This. Book. I can’t say enough about it (clearly I’m not wordless!) … the book is good … as in GOOD … G.O.O.D.
What did I like? Jack … and Becca … and the writing, which had fast moving and witty dialogue and a super interesting plot. It’s funny, action-packed, a page turner, easy to read, super unpredictable, witty, steamy, with great characters, and a fabulously entertaining storyline.
This is a standalone novel that features Jack and Becca from the author’s previous novel. Jack is best described as a brooding bastard with a conscious. He’s dedicated to his best friend, who is engaged to Becca’s sister… and that makes him responsible for Becca. Part Jack Ryan, part mysterious brooding guy, you never know what he’s going to say or do next. He and Becca become entangled when he saves her from a less than honorable flat mate.
Becca is starting to feel as though the string of familial bad luck is living. She’s back at school full time and no longer has to decide between books and dinner … she’s just the girl you’d like to be friends with. Fun loving, plucky, spontaneous, honest to a fault, and super cute. She’s keen on Jack, but then who isn’t!
The sub characters, both named and unnamed are funny, realistic, and hilarious.
The writing is just fab. Super chemistry between the two caused my tablet to sizzle! The banter dialogue was so incredibly witty that it made me want to take it up a notch at home! …. and all of this chemistry and dialogue is wrapped in a story that is keeps you guessing while you LOL at the hilariousness and catch your breath at the vulnerability of the characters and the depth of the storyline.
This is the second book by Ms. Stark that I’ve read and I’m now following her everywhere I can. Her writing is super fun to read and it makes me think. If you’re looking for a great book to make you LOL, want to solve Jack’s secret and root for Becca, download this now!
I received an ARC. This is my honest review.
I loved this story because Jack is this billionaire author who is shrouded in secrets and mystery. Jack is protective and loyal to his friend Flynn, so when Flynn’s fiancé sister needs some help he steps in and takes matter into his own hands. Jack seems to think he is helping Becka out of the goodness of his heart but subconsciously he is doing this because he is highly attracted to her. Becka is a college student who seems to stumble onto trouble everywhere she goes so when Jack starts to help her out she doesn’t want to take any handouts but he is insistent that she do as he says. Becka loves his books and thinks he is attractive but now that he is her boss there will be no crossing the lines, or so she thinks. This was a slow burn romance that draws you in and you are dying to know all of Jack’s secrets. I loved this story and loved that no matter what Becka was always herself and unapologetically never held back from wanting to know more.
Wordless by Sabrina Stark is the story of Jack and Becka.
Jack is a famous author who happens to be friends with Becka’s sister husband who is a very famous movie star. Becka tries not to take from her brother-in-law so she does things on her own until something goes wrong with her ‘roommate’ and she comes to him for help but finds Jack instead. Jack ends up stepping up to help her and gives her a job on his book tour. Jack is strongly against emotions especially toward women but Becka has flown under his radar and now he can’t get enough of her. Enjoyed their story and hope to read the previous book about Becka’s sister.
Becka was looking for her sister and instead found mysterious hottie Jack Ward – billionaire author. She’d fangirl over him except his uh, girlfriend? is doing her best to get Becka to leave. But she can’t because she needs her sister. The sister who’s supposed to be with Flynn at Flynn’s home. Speaking of, why isn’t Flynn at his home instead of the gorgeous author and his scantily clad girlfriend? And why is Jack insisting on driving Becka to her apartment, then intimidating her roommate? And then insisting on Becka staying with him at Flynn’s? And then insisting on her going on his book tour with him as his new assistant/intern?
Wordless is a sweet slow burn romance. I had been hoping for a bit more heat, but generally speaking, I enjoyed it, especially Becka. She’s a hoot – funny and smart and she put up with a lot of crap from Jack, who was entirely too bossy and secretive for his own good. As Jack said, she was trouble, but only to his heart, which she certainly won over!
