From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kristen Proby comes a new story in her With Me In Seattle series… Christmas together one she’ll never forget.
Noel Thompson has gotten her share of strange requests in her career as an interior designer. The call to design a beautiful home for Christmas is more like a dream come true. And that was before she met her new employer—sexy and mysterious, he’s everything she ever hoped Santa would bring her.
As Noel showers his home with holiday spirit, Reed showers Piper with love. And the busy life he’s created for himself no longer seems nearly as important as the one Noel is helping him build with his daughter. But if he can’t convince his decorator to stay, this could be the only year he feels the true wonder of the season.
Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you’ll enjoy each one as much as we do.

beautiful and perfect holiday story! the characters made me swoon!
This is a great feel good holiday story! I have read a few other books by Kristen and they’re always adorable. I enjoy that this can be read as a standalone story because I honestly haven’t gotten around to reading the With me in Seattle series. It’s on my TBR pile though! Piper is going to steal your heart as soon as you meet her. She’s super cute. I highly recommend giving this story a chance and if you really loved it; go give other books by Kristen a chance too.
5 Star Review of Wonder With Me (With Me In Seattle #12) by Kristen Proby
Although a novella, Kristen Proby had me hooked from the first page. Having read the other books in the series, I was excited to be back in Seattle. Although having said that, I do believe it can be read as a stand alone.
Reed Taylor is a playboy and a workaholic who is shocked to find out that he is father to a 4 year old daughter, Piper, he knew nothing about. Determined to give her a Christmas she will never forget, Reed hires Noel Thompson to decorate his house for the holidays.
I love single parent stories, add in Christmas and I couldn’t put Wonder With Me down. The chemistry between Reed and Noel was off the charts and I so wanted them to get their happily ever after.
Piper has some fantastic lines which just added another layer to this wonderful holiday read.
Kristen Proby has an incredible story telling talent that pulls you in from page one, whether that is one of her full length novels or a beautifully crafted holiday novella. Of all of the holiday stories this season, this one shines bright from the top of the well-decorated tree.
From beginning to end, her hero and heroine’s love story traveled along at the pace of the holiday season — fast, heartfelt, and sometimes bumpy. If there is anything to complain about, I wanted it to be longer. I wanted more back story on both Noel and Reed, which in a longer KP book I know I would have luxuriated in. Still, Wonder With Me was well developed and left me with the holiday spirit long after it was over.
You do not have to have read any of the With Me In Seattle books to pick it up, but I personally feel you will benefit from it if you do. Besides, there are so many wonderful stories you’re missing if you haven’t.
This is the first one that I have read from Kristen and the first one in this series. I absolutely loved it. It was a great storyline from beginning to end. Single dad trying to make his daughter’s first Christmas with him one she will never forget. So he moves her into a new house and asks the number 1 decorator to decorate the house for him. Little does he know that there is more in store for him and that decorator. Noel is a wonderful decorator. She is amazing at her job and absolutely loves what she does. But she doesn’t date her clients. But once she starts working and hanging out with Reed and his daughter they both work their way into her heart. Will these three get a happy ever after? I absolutely loved this storyline with these amazing characters. I loved Reed and Noel. I cant wait to read more from this series and from Kristen.
I loved this sweet and romantic holiday story. Talk about swoon worthy!!
Reed Taylor turns out to be the ultimate dream man ready and willing to accept whatever challenges life throws at him. Even an unexpected four year old daughter. He hires Noel to turn his home into a Christmas wonderland to ensure his daughter’s Christmas is beautiful despite the grief of her mother’s death.
Noel’s heart skips a beat when she first meets Reed. Seriously, whose wouldn’t?? Noel arrives to Reed’s home finding him and his daughter playing out in the yard and Reed blowing raspberries on Princess Piper’s neck. AHH! Heart Thump!!
Reed is a man of action. He knows when to sit and when to strike. He instantly recognizes the rarity of what he finds in Noel and he sets out to prove to her that they belong together.
A definite sweet, swoon worthy romance with steam and humor sprinkled throughout. The perfect holiday romance.
I read and ARC of this book. My fair and honest review is voluntary.
Kristen Proby is a rockstar author!! I love this series so much and she never disappoints with her characters, steaminess or plot!! Her writing is flawless and gives me everything I need in a romance. Absolutely, amazing and overall wonderful story of quick love that is meant to be.
Noel and Reed. They meet and the chemistry is instant. Their story is quick, hot and steamy and full of laughter that comes with Piper. Piper definitely adds the sweetness and wonder to the story that only a child can. These characters are funny and loving and will steal your heart from the very beginning.
It’s Christmas in Seattle!! So, what does the consummate bachelor, Reed Taylor, do when he learns he has a 4 yr old daughter he has never met? First, he falls madly in love with her at first sight. Then he hires the highly recommended interior designer, Noel, to give his little girl the best Christmas EVER!! Reed’s home is turned into a fantastic winter wonderland. Both Reed and Noel feel an immediate attraction. Noel is very reluctant because she is uncomfortable dating a client. Reed is not willing to let Noel get away. The best thing that he has learned since Piper came into his life is that you need to make time for the people you love in your life. Reed is so, so sure of Noel’s place in his and Piper’s life that he just keeps showing Noel how he feels about her. Piper is the sweetest little thing who stole my heart just like her daddy did. I just wish this book would have been longer. I was not ready to let them go. Absolutely, loved Wonder With Me by Kristen Proby. One of my absolute faves. I haven’t read a Kristen Proby book yet that I have been disappointed in. 5 stars*****
I am a sucker for a good Christmas novella. Throw Kristen Proby and her ‘With Me in Seattle’ series into the mix and I knew I was going to give Wonder With Me a read. And I enjoyed every sweet and sexy page.
I liked that both Reed and Noel were workaholics. Career driven with no time, or desire, for fun or relationships. Until they met each other. It was the small things they shared that solidified their connection. But most of all it was how they learned to make the time.
And don’t get me started on Piper. That little girl was so darling. Her joy and enthusiasm was contagious, especially after all she had been through. Full of charm and lights, bunnies and family, Wonder With Me is a fun and whimsical addition to one of my favorite series. The instalove between Reed and Noel wasn’t forced. And Nate and Jules sighing never hurts.
What a beautiful, heartfelt, short read! I LOVE the With Me In Seattle series and this novella is a wonderful addition to it! Inhaled in one quick sitting, giving me a warm, fuzzy feeling!!
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
This was a great book !
Noel has a successful business, which does not leave too much time for romance.
Reed just found out that he has a daughter.
What is Reed to do ?
Well, Christmas is coming, so why not give Piper the perfect Christmas.
To do so, Reed hires Noel to decorate his house.
One look at Noel, and Reed is smitten.
Loved the characters + the storytelling !
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
If you’re looking for a great holiday novella…you found it! Enjoy!
Wonder with me was an entertaining holiday read. Just what I’ve come to expect from a Kristen Proby.
Noel, Reed and Piper were the perfect little family. I loved these characters together and then set in her With Me in Seattle series and you have pure gold.
Wonder with Me is a standalone novella that is told in Dual POV. You do NOT have to read the rest of the series to enjoy this story. Although I did love the cameo of some past characters that we see in this story.
In this story we follow the story of single dad Reed, his daughter Piper and Noel. Reed is a workaholic who has just found out he has a 4 year old daughter. Never one to like the holiday season, he is determined to give his daughter the first Christmas with him to remember!! That’s where Noel comes in. Noel is a very busy interior designer. So when she is requested by Reed to decorate his whole house for the holiday and is willing to pay a huge price….Noel can’t turn it down. Little did she know taking this job would change all three of their lives forever!!
I loved these characters and their story. This was the perfect read to read at this time of the year.
If you are a fan of Kristen Proby’s then you need to read this holiday gem!!! You will totally get into the spirit!!
AMAZING! I am a huge fan of the 1001 Dark Nights series, and one of my all-time favorite series is With Me in Seattle – Wonder With Me is an amazing addition to both! Reed and Noel’s story (and Piper’s too!) was sweet, steamy and filled with so much heart! I am so in love with everything about this book! Single dads are one of my favorite troupes and this book completely knocked it out of the park!
A perfect holiday novella with a sweet, sexy romance full of emotions and super cute 4 year old.
Reed is a workaholic who never paid much attention the holidays. He wasn’t looking for any kind of long term relationship because he was too busy. In the blink of an eye his life was turned upside down in a good way. Discovering he had a daughter and he will now be her only caregiver was a lot to take in but Reed does it all in. Loving his little girl from the very beginning.
Noel is at the height of her career and her business in booming. She hardly has time to fit in family let alone another customer but who needs relax time. Focused on her business she doesn’t have time for relationships and all they entail. Adding a complete Christmas home decorate shouldn’t take too long right. She was not prepared for Piper or Reed.
An insta love story full of fun and smiles as Reed and Noel do everything to make a little girl smile for the holidays. The more time spent together the more they begin to open up. Love sneaking in when they least expected it. With the bonus of some old friends in the With Me In Seattle Series.

Wonder With Me by Kristen Proby is a sweet and heartwarming novella read set in the With Me in Seattle series. It is book 11.5 and what a great read with fantastic holiday feels !!!
Reed and Noel are amazing together. Love that even for a novella, the story is packed with feels, romance, drama, passion and love.
I enjoyed reading how single Reed became single dad with precious Piper ; how Noel came into theirs lives and transformed their lives and how they transformed hers. It’s a sweet and beautiful read with a cute ending!
My Rating: 4.5 stars ******
Wonder with Me is a novella in the With Me series by Kristen Proby. It’s also part of the 1001 Darks Nights world. T can be read as a complete standalone but it will make you want to read more in the series. I have read most of the books and it’s one of my favorites! Damn…I need to get caught up!
Reed’s life changed the minute she walked through the door into his office two months ago. His daughter, Piper turned his world upside down and he has loved every minute of it. Their love was instant. Their bond took time and now it was December and he wanted her to have the best Christmas ever. She deserved it especially after losing the other parent she ever knew until she met her father. So, he hired the best to decorate his home.
Noel was in the interior decorating business. She was extremely booked but when someone makes an offer you can’t refuse, you reschedule your massage. And she was so glad she did, the home was beautiful and the owner was sexy as Sin and so sweet with his daughter. And flirty too! She didn’t get involved with clients but she knew from the first glance and flirt that he was going to be different. She was in so much trouble!
I don’t want to spoil anything so I will keep it at that. I will say that I loved it! The story. The characters. The flirting. The Christmas decorations. It was a perfect addition to the With Me series.
Quotes:
“You never know how hands-on a client wants to be.”
“Consider my hands off,” he says. “At least, where the Christmas décor is concerned.” My eyes meet his. If I’m not mistaken, Reed is flirting with me.
“You just made me a laughing stock in front of my crew.”
Reed frowns and looks around the driveway. “The only one looking this way is Bob, and he’s not laughing. He looks proud of me.”
“Sidebar. Is this book as dirty as it looks from the cover?” I glance over to see what he’s holding, then smile.
“Dirtier.”
“Maybe I should start reading you bedtime stories,” he says.
I’m a long-time Kristen Proby fan. I started reading her books with her very first With Me in Seattle series book, Come Away With Me, way back in November of 2012. I was hooked on her books from then on. For the last seven years, I’ve gobbled up (no pun intended!) every book of hers that I could, and there’s a good reason why. I simply love her style of writing that makes me fall in love with all of her characters over and over again. And Wonder With Me didn’t disappoint, either.
Wonder With Me is another novella in the 1001 Dark Nights series. I can’t remember how many of them she’s written for 1001 Dark Nights now. Suffice it to say, it’s been several. If you’re like me and love to read holiday-themed romances this time of year but don’t have a lot of time to devote to longer novels, this one fits the bill nicely.
NICUnurse’s Rating: This is a feel-good holiday story with a combination of a surprise/single daddy trope thrown in. With an adorable little girl, a successful on her own heroine, and a billionaire, Kristen Proby manages to cover all the well-loved character/tropes all in one novella. It was no surprise that I was hooked from page one and loved it all the way through to the happily ever after at the end.
I give Wonder With Me by Kristen Proby 4.5 out of 5 stars!
Wonder With Me is a super sweet and whimsical novella that just kicked off my Christmas season in the best way. There is nothing hotter than a single dad who loves his daughter more than life itself. Reed is everything that embodies a good dad and a good man. Noel is his match in every way- beautiful, successful, and loving. This was a sweet read with a few cameos from other couples in the With Me in Seattle series. I recommend reading this to kick off the holiday season!
