I had a little trouble getting into the story, I wasn’t sure what the story was exactly about…but, after a couple of chapters I couldn’t put it down. The character were well developed and you can either like or dislike them or identify with them. It was a good read.
An easy-to-read story following three women at various stages in their lives !
Well written but not super interesting!
This book follows the lives of three women who lead very different lives but they intersect in the fact that they are all striving to be independent & find their way.
The lives of women are reviewed as they intersect in a nursing home. An interesting look at what shaped each life and the choices she made with the circumstances of her life.
A look into the lives, thoughts and souls of women. I learned much about myself as I read this.
Enjoyed following the women’s stories as they unfolded. The pace was a little slow and it took longer for me to engage in the story. Towards the end, I felt more compelled to keep turning pages.
This is the book I chose when it was my turn at book club. I’m so glad I did. Everybody loved it and it certainly prompted a lot of discussion in the group. Once I started it I couldn’t put it down. That was two months ago and I find I’m still thinking about it even after reading several other books since.
Good read, kept you guessing all the time.
This was a well written and interesting book, worth reading for those who don’t find those four-letter words a roadblock.
Really enjoyed this book. One of my favorite books I have read lately.
Interesting tales of these women.
A boring story about a bunch of pathetic women.
good read strong women characters
A bit slow for my tastes in reading material. But perhaps someone else would find it insightful.
I quit reading this book as it seemed a joyless recount of rather empty lives.
Boring
Took too long to get to the point
Although I read the whole book, I really couldn’t ever “get into” it. I didn’t hate it, but it was OK.
Didn’t really like this book.
While the characters were somewhat interesting, the format was relating how their lives came to intersect, then it ended.
