A sexy new contemporary standalone romance by New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Katy Evans. You’ve seen the headlines: Womanizing billionaire player! Watch out! Stay away!We were just two strangers. Facing a forbidden attraction, a chemical connection. Neither of us expected or wanted it to amount to more. But I had never been drawn to a guy the way I was drawn to this one: my … this one: my brother’s best friend, and CEO of the company where I interned.
Even knowing I should stay away, I proved to be too human, after all.
The chemistry was amazing.
The laughs were incredible.
I opened up to him in more ways than I’d opened up to anyone before.
But sex was as far as I’d go.
Just sex because he was too irresistible.
Just sex because I wouldn’t be falling for him.
Just sex because I’d leave in three months, and I’d like for my brother not to kill me, and for nobody to find out he was my wicked little secret.
He wasn’t the One.
He was just a womanizer.
But for a time, he would be mine.

I loved Malcolm in Manwhore until I met Callan in Womanizer. I think he’s my favorite.
Well written story… hot.. sexy.. seductive.. sensual.. dirty read Callan is the right portrait of well play womanizer… i cant seee Malboro cigarette the same way anymore
“Womanizer” is a breath-defying marvel! One that can only reach staggering heights, a new realm and a quality of perfection. Which is simply rare to come by.
This sensational story was one of my favorites in the ManWhore series. Kathy Evans didn’t hold back. She brought us two main leads that were equal. No wimpy female here! Thank GOD!! That alone brought “Womanizer” to over 5-star rating in my eyes. But no, the dynamic that Callan and Olivia had. Simply energized from the first meeting. The sparks flew and the engaging nature of the pair. Was one in which it felt real, alive and vibrant! Almost as if you were watching them. Take those first baby step in a relationship. A remarkable fete as an author to keep us in that state. To feel those emotions spill out. Like pouring rain and entwine us in its midst. Is something I just relished.
Perfection in every form. If I could give “Womanizer” a 15-star rating I would! Beautiful, smart, savvy and sexy as all hell! A must!!!
Callan’s sort of begging is asking a question, “i that case, I haven’t.” He strokes a finger down my jaw. “So. How about you kiss me. For my sake.” Callan is not a patient man, “eff trouble. Jesus. Just effing go out with me, Livvy.” He studies my features.” I really loved Callan he knew just what to say, “well, Olivia. I’m staring at a woman who’s got me in the throes of lust twenty-four/ seven almost— and I’ve got work to do. Physically, I’ve never felt this deprived. Keeping my hands off you is testing my willpower to an extent beyond my limits.” He slips his hand on my thigh, squeezing it. “I want you nightly.” I loved this book, Callan was just so sexy.
Ohhh how I’ll miss these wonderful bad boy billionaires.
Womanizer is nothing like the other books in the series. It was so sweet and beautiful. Callan is so different from the Tahoe and Malcolm. I loved the relationship that formed between Callan and Tahoe’s sister Olivia. I don’t think Katy could have made their meeting and eventual friendship any better. I loved the way it built up. Callan challenged Olivia in her way of thinking and made her better, she even grew a bit being around him. I will say that I didn’t care for the way she started to treat Callan after she found who he was. It changed the way she thought about him, the same insecure way Rachel and Gina would think. It’s annoying.
I loved that Callan never hid what he wanted. It was very clear that he wanted Olivia even when he found out she was Tahoe’s little sister. She changed him as well. She made him want things he never thought he would want or have. I gushed with happiness with these two.
So in other words I loved this book. I couldn’t get enough of it. It was sexy, cute, and funny. I felt that this book had so much more to offer than the others. It has tension, heartache, sadness, love, inspiration, and hope for the future. Sometimes our plans never go as expected.
Oh, Callan. I can happily say that I actually enjoyed this more than I did Tahoe’s book. I think I’m grateful that the womanizing ways of the last manwhore standing wasn’t that much dwelled upon here, unlike on Tahoe’s. WOMANIZER was more focused on the build up of friendship and relationship between Olivia Roth and Callan Carmichael, and I couldn’t be more giddy about it.
I liked how the story started—how Livvy didn’t know the man she was sharing a hit with at Carma Inc.’s terrace was the Callan Carmichael—the CEO of the company she’s interning for, her boss and her brother’s best friend. The guy her friends have warned her to stay away from. The douchey heartbreaker who also happens to be the hottest and richest bachelor of Chicago. I absolutely loved the little habits Livvy and Callan had. The ones where only the two of them were privy to. It made the story sweeter and that much more engrossing.
Aside from his drop dead GQ-worthy gorgeousness, sexy mouth and sharp mind, I think what hooked me more onto Callan’s character here was the way he appreciated and fell for how Livvy treated him normally. Like he wasn’t some kind of intimidating and important man everyone tried to win the attention of. She was just so real with him. With Livvy, I loved her spunk and quirkiness. How driven she was to reach her goals in life. How nothing and no one could stop her from reaching those. She was so fixated on achieving all her plans in life, until she meets Not Drake, I mean Callan, and gets to know his heart.
Steamy and sexy as ever, Katy Evans once again tickles our ovaries with the crazy transformation of the last manwhore standing’s tale of lust, love and passion, with tidbits of humor that will make you choke up a laugh from start to finish. If you’ve followed the Manwhore Series, you certainly have to read this. You can’t just not know how Callan Carmichael’s story goes.
This is book #4 in the MANWH*RE series and is a spinoff, but can be read as a complete stand-alone. The story revolves around Livvy Roth (Tahoe’s younger sister) and Callan Carmichael (Tahoe’s friend).
At age twenty-two, Olivia “Livvy” Roth wants to be independent. She has plans and ambitions and those plans start now. Thanks to her brother, Tahoe, for the next three months she’ll be interning at Carma, Inc. for one of his best friends, Callan Carmichael. “My brother may have gotten this job for me, but I’m going to be the one who keeps it and climbs the ranks on my own. No favors from anyone anymore.” –Livvy. Her ambitions have overshadowed any thoughts of men (for now). In her plans, she won’t meet Mr.Right until she’s twenty-eight, AFTER she’s established a career for herself. But plans can get derailed. Her carefully constructed plans get momentarily sidetracked when one evening, after a terrible first day at her internship, she takes a trip up to the terrace and meet’s “Hot Smoker Guy”. This guy makes her question all her plans and for the first time, has her every thought and decision based on him. The only issue is she finds out “Hot Smoker Guy” is her boss AND her brother’s best friend.
Callan “womanizer” Carmichael is the “last man standing” in his trio of friends and a testament to singleness. CEO and owner of Carma, Inc, he’s established a successful life for himself. He knows how to control board rooms and specializes in investments and takeovers. He’s achieved such success because when he sets his sights on something he wants, he takes it. Business wise and woman wise. So when he gets his sights set on a beautiful, freckle-faced intern, he’s unable to resist. He is consumed with thoughts of her and only her. The only issue is, this new intern of his is also one of his best friends little sisters.
Callan knows that he is breaking rules when it comes to Livvy. Your best friends little sister is definitely a “no go”, but he can’t seem to resist. Livvy has always been told that Tahoe’s friends are off limits and up until this point, it wasn’t an issue, but it’s hard to resist when she didn’t know to begin with. Livvy finds herself falling for Callan’s silly antics and Callan finds himself falling for her realism. As they get to know each other more and more, they find themselves unable to deny the pull they have toward each other. Now they have to navigate this “affair” and figure out ways to either resist each other or get away with not resisting each other. After all, Livvy will only be in Chicago for three months, what could it hurt to be together for just now?
I absolutely ADORED this book! From beginning to end. I fell in love with these characters with every shared encounter. Katy Evans worked the smoldering stranger’s aspect to forbidden element perfectly with these two. The way that the reader gets to see a different side of Callan through Livvy’s eyes was beautiful. Livvy had no idea who he was and because of that their relationship was able to build and mature on a different level. Livvy didn’t have all these preconceived ideas of who he was, she went into their relationship with a blank slate and because of that Callan was able to do what he thought he was incapable of doing, loving someone. “I don’t know that I can love someone that deeply. I’m not built that way.” –Callan. Oh Callan, you are indeed capable. *swoon*. Callan was also exactly what Livvy needed. She had all these plans in life: work for a couple years after her internship, go off on her own and start her business, meet her husband at 28, and have kids. She needed someone like Callan to scramble up her plans a little. He pushes her and brings out her competitive side, but he also scares her. She’s scared to deviate from her plans and take the leap. He is the notorious womanizer for a reason. Whose saying she can tame him? But thanks to her nana, she learns this: “A life of fears is no life. Live it fully, my Livvy.” Livvy had to learn to just take the jump. In the end, fears can hold you back from something wonderful.
I always feel like I can’t properly put into words how I feel after reading Katy Evans’ novels. I find myself with a constant silly grin on my face while reading them and a stomach full of happy butterflies. I can always count on her stories giving me a happy bubbly feeling inside and a sense of content when I am finished. There is just enough internal and external dilemmas for the characters that keep me craving more with every page. Her characters always seem to have to defeat their own personal issues before being able to find happiness. They are able to do that through the help of their perfect match. And Callan and Livvy are a perfect match! So if you’re looking for a book that gives you all the happy feels, then this one is right for you! Like I said above, this is a standalone, but I personally would highly recommend reading the other books in the series as well! You will not want to miss out on how Callan’s friends fell for their woman as well.
5 stars!
I am completely obsessed with Katy Evans books! At first I thought Callan was going to end up with Wyn! Since her and Emmet broke up I figured it’d be Callan sweeping her up but to my delighted surprise I was so excited for the forbidden big brothers best friend/ best friends little sister romance that I love so much! I loved how they met, I loved everything! The HEA was perfection! Love changes everything and it definitely changed both of their life plans!
All the heart flutters <3
I hadn't read all the books in this series when I got this one. I jumped right into this one and loved every minute of it. I did go back and catch up with the series after I read Womanizer, this one is my favorite out of all of them.
Callan full filled every need I had at this moment. I was in the mood for the broody, mysterious, bachelor book boyfriend. He nailed it. The heated looks, the going after what he wants, the full on alpha of it all. Olivia and Callan had smoking hot chemistry. Their whole story was sexy and full of heart and so much heat it leaped off the pages.
This book consumed me and every thought I had while reading it. I'm still thinking about it. I love this couple and this book. I can't recommend this book enough. Grab it now!!
I loved this book, the characters. I couldnt put the book down. This book was everything you want in a book!
OMG! THE COVER!! Smoking normally turns me off but between the cover and the chemistry between Olivia and her Hot Smoking Guy they made me forget I hate men that smoke. I enjoyed every page of their story from the first to the last. I love a good epilogue and loved that they got one set well into the future.
I enjoyed Womanizer. Did I love it. No, but I liked it and was entertained. I’ve read many books by Katy Evans and her writing never disappoints. The same can be said about Womanizer. The story and its pace just flowed and I couldn’t stop reading.
That being said I really wanted to love this story but Olivia was making it difficult. I found her behaving juvenile at times and her inner monologue was also testing my patience. She said one thing and did the opposite and it occurred numerous times. I just couldn’t connect with her and believe me I tried.
Callan was the highlight of Womanizer and I probably would have liked it more if I got more POV’s with him. Callan has definitely had his share of women but with Olivia he showed what he was all about. He was intense, sexual and attentive. Work wise he was ambitious and determined. Together they were on fire. I could easily feel their attraction and their chemistry was sizzling. Katy Evans knows how to write sexy and believe me, Callan and Olivia was exactly that in bed. The story revolved around them hiding their affair at work and their feelings evolving into more. A premise that’s been done before and I expected a little more depth to Callan and Olivia.
Another highlight was Olivia’s friendship with Wynn and of course her brother Tahoe. His little surprise with Regina was great.
Don’t let my review discourage you from reading Womanizer just because of my issues. I enjoyed this story and would recommend this book.
3 BadAssDirtyHotSmokerGuyStars
I need more stars for this book. Filled with witty, well developed characters and plenty of steamy chemistry.
A bit too graphic for my taste.
Couldn’t put down loved loved loved it.
Katy always writes a wonderful novel. This one was no different. I love it!
It’s not often I’m unable to finish reading a book, but this is one of the few that bored me to a halt…couldn’t finish it. Wish I could delete it from my library.
I am running out of words to describe a Katy Evans book. I don’t know how she does it but they keep getting better and better. I think there is no way that I’m going to love another book as much as I loved the last book and then bam I get the next book and it’s just as amazing and I’m just as entranced and cannot put it down until I have finished it and then I want to reread it again. And Womanizer is no different you fall in love with Callan from the very beginning. You can practicality feel the sexual tension through your kindle between livvy and Callan. Katy is one of my all time favorite authors of all time and if you have read just one of her books you would understand why but if you haven’t I really would recommend that you do!!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars that’s how good this book is!! I highly highly recommend this book and all of her books!!!!!
I love this one. It’s on my re-read pile.
Loved this book. Sexy and well written.
