PenCraft Award – Best Fiction Book of 2020
“Woman in Red – Magdalene Speaks is a well-researched and believable work of fiction that will challenge believers and atheists with an equally rich interpretive of gospel, history, and culture of two thousand years ago.” –Authors Reading
In an enthralling saga, Mary Magdalene, the most misunderstood woman in history, returns strong and true as the … woman in history, returns strong and true as the irresistible voice of the banished feminine divine. Holding an intriguing legacy in her hands, she unveils the scandalous secrets, prophecies and confidential teachings of Jesus. Using the profound language of the soul to construct in the reader the essence of a divine state, this book could be called pure alchemy from beginning to end. Overflowing with enthralling descriptions detailing the creation, Heaven and Hell, the hidden life of Jesus, the truth about Mother Mary and the secrets of death, endorsed by obscure ancient texts—this book sets spiritual and historical literature apart.
After twenty-five years of research this could be the most authentic portrayal recounting accurate details of what happened next—after the crucifixion.
Finally the spurned women of ancient times speak true from beyond the grave.
Prophecy spoke of two Messiah’s—Jesu was the first.

I found this book very difficult to read. Some parts were OK.
Sorry, I couldn’t get into it. Too fantastical. Would like a more down to earth narrative.
Loved the premise, but could not get into this book
Chapters of her vision and travels in the “underworld and other world”. After the first part of the book, there was nothing much more than descriptions of these visions. I know it was a novel, but it was like cutting a picture apart and putting it together again in a jumbled way. I am a very liberal Christian, but this was not just an alternate story of what could have happened. The chapters and chapters and chapters of visions were just too boring for me.
This book has a new viewpoint everyone should at least conside. Would have been 5 stars but there were a few chapters that seemed to go on a bit.
Couldn’t get into this book. The books premise was so out of left field, I know it’s just fiction but I think it should have been a bit more believable.
Not for a conservative Christian
I stopped reading the book after the third chapter. Apparently the writer has never read a book, nor had an editor who knew what he/she was doing. One DOES NOT put two-three characters, their dialogue and actions into one paragraph. I had to continually go back and re-read to try to figure out who was speaking to whom, and doing what. The writing itself was juvenile, at best. While the book has many four and five star ratings, I was not impressed with the book, nor will I waste time trying to ‘interpret’ what the writer is attempting to say.
Did not like it!!!
Too much of the content was during Magdalene’s dream, which made the story painfully long.
This book is not for everyone, but if you are willing to explore biblical history with an open mind this book is a great adjunct to your studies.
Confusing with so many of characters having variations on his/her name. I kept having to scroll back to figure out who was who, which is a pain with an ebook. I thought I would love it. Not.
Did not develop my interest.
I didn’t expect this book to be as inspiring as it is. Wonderful read.
Very thought provoking.
I just really couldn’t finish this book. Rarely do I start a book and not finish it, even books that don’t interest me much. But this one never grabbed my interest enough
An interesting topic, but it had too much of an agenda. Think L Ron Hubbard. Not for me.
VERY disappointed! Badly written: incorrect grammar, spelling, and confusing sentence structure which is distracting. Dan Brown’s fantasy is more believable than hers. She covers all the World Religions trying to make them Jesus Christ’s which is a dangerous thing to do given all the gullible innocents that bought into Brown’s hypothesis.
Unrealistic, trays too far from the norm to think that it could happen.
I loved it! Some revelations made me tearful but it was very informative. It answered some lingering questions that I had regarding Jesus and Mary Magdalene. Also About Mary M’s impact on the people who knew her and Jesus‼
