An interesting story with surprising twists… makes for unpredictable tale. Though there are less than ten named characters, the author has a way of making my head spin.

The tribe chose Akira to be the Winter Wolf this time. She HAD to find the Winter Stone to make it happen. So, she headed East to find it and the Coyotes. One enemy, in particular, has the secret to unlocking Akira’s wolf and it seems those in her pack have secrets of their own. Who can she trust? What are the secrets? Akira’s Tribe was given the ability to shift into wolves. But over time they less and less of them can shift. Now only a few have the wolf inside them. Only one is chosen every seven years to receive the honour of the change. Akita is chosen but something is wrong, someone has stolen the sacred Winter Stone. Without it the ceremony can not happen. The tribe comes to t6e conclusion that the coyote clan has stolen the precious stone. Akira though filled with trepidation, sets off to bring back the stone. She.bravely faces the unknown and the adventure ahead of her.
This is an exceptional paranormal adventure. It is filled with amazing characters that you become attached to. The storyline weaves action, adventure, friendship, love, betrayal and brutality as it tells the story of one girls search for her inner wolf. The action scenes are detailed ad descriptive allowing the feeling of terror and shock to slip through. The dialogue is extremely well done allowing the emotions to flow and love to grow. The story is filled with great descriptions of the scenery allowing you to imagine the cold and winters landscape. Shifters are the stars of this drama but other magical creatures and items are also included. It is an epic tale worth reading.

The Clan lost their ability to shift and once every seven years one of the clan is granted the ability to shift but they need the Winter stone to do it. Akira, a wolf shifter, is the chosen one that year but the stone was stolen before she could let her animal free. Akira is on a mission to find the stolen Winter stone and along the way she finds her mates. This is a unique shifter story and I really enjoyed it. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
This is an inspiring take on shifters and captivated me from beginning to end. The characters are unique with a wonderful pack dynamic. Akira meets her soulmate(s) while on a quest for her village during the winter. This story is so well written that I felt the cold bite of winter just like Akira. You can feel Akira’s conflicted emotions and struggle as she finds her soulmates while on her quest and her goal becomes unclear. This book has humor, action, suspense, and romance. Arizona’s narrative is excellent and leaves you wanting more and more. Can’t wait for the next book in this series.

This is collection of the 5 Winter Wolf serials. I liked Amira, and the story is interesting, there is a lot of action as Akira travels East to try to save her town. Tape had an interesting and fresh perspective on mates. At times there was a lot of push/pull when it came to the romance, but I enjoyed the series and story.
