I hated him—even when I wanted him. For more than two hundred years, no one had ever infuriated me more than Harry Laurier, and he knows it. After moving to California, I was glad I would never have to see him again. As far as I was concerned, Harry could have his Alpha status—assuming his father actually relinquished his ancient hold over the leadership. All I’d wanted was to start anew. I wanted … wanted was to start anew. I wanted a fresh start, away from those who judged me so harshly.
Why, then, does fate keep conspiring against me and throwing Harry in my path at every possible opportunity?
I’m an Omega female all alone in the world with only one person who understands—an Alpha who isn’t even my friend and who can never know the secret I’m hiding.
Content Warning: Explicit love scenes and lots of sexy shifters. Intended for 18+ audiences.

Wolf’s Heir by Juniper Hart is an awesome story that I have had the privilege to read. This is book number two out of four in this awesome series that I have loved read and can not wait for the rest of this series. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about wolf shifters, contemporay and paranormal romances.

I mostly enjoyed Harry and Natalie storyline when they weren’t acting up like adolescents. Their chemistry was meant to be and being an omega wolf will not make a difference to what fate has deemed to be.

Harry and Natalia grew up in the same pack but their families didn’t get along. Things got worse when Natalia’s brother married Harry’s sister. Natalia and Harry were drawn to each other when they were at college they tried to stay away from each other but is was hard. They finally gave in and started talking but only when at school however once over break they slipped and called each other then. When their parents found out they started questioning them making things tense at home. So when Natalia went back to school she started avoiding Harry. It was close to graduation when they run into each other again and they give into temptation and have sex. They say they keep in touch but it doesn’t happen and Natalia ends up pregnant. Will she tell Harry with all the drama their families make? Can they ever get their happy ending?
This is an amazing story it will draw you in from the first chapter on. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Harry and Natalia grew up together, but he was the son of the Alpha and she was from a family of lower class according to his parents. When her brother, Damon starts dating Harry’s sister the families try without success to discourage the two. Natalia’s parents fight continuously and she swears she will never marry, but fate keeps throwing Harry and. Natalia together. A good storyline with lots of angst, drama, turmoil, unexpected pregnancy and complications that keep you turning the pages.

We have Natalia who is poor in the pack. Harry who is the Alpha’;s son. When Natalia graduates she goes off to California to college, to get away from Harry and the pack. Unknown to her Harry is attending the same college and they end up being study partners. Harry still want to be friends with her. There is a attraction between them. Can they keep apart? What will happen if the family finds out? What will Harry do if she breaks it off with him? Two hearts and a family feud. What could go wrong? What could go right?

I enjoyed reading this story with their in-depth, believable characters and the story between them.
Natalia grew up in the pack where her family was not on the rich side of things. It was okay for her to play with Harry when they were younger, with him being the Alpha’s son and all. Yet as they grew up, he was in the popular group and she was not. Being that wolf shifters live a very long life, every generation they are required to go through high school and college again, depending on their grades. This is the third time she has gone through the process and this time she is leaving her small town and going to Berkley. Things are different because her family is so far away and now she can make things on her own. She still has to work along with school. She gets a place off-campus after her freshman year. She keeps seeing someone who looks like Harry when one day he shows up for a boring lecture surrounded by girls. She can’t believe that he is here and when they start to see each other, things are different. There is also the fact that her brother married his sister, the ‘princess’ of the pack. There are all sorts of issues and problems between their parents because of this union. On the night of graduation, at a frat party, Harry sees her there with a guy who is known for being a player. He keeps an eye out for her and saves her from when she is about to be forced. He takes her back to his place and they end up in bed. After graduation, she moves to Seattle for a job in a lab.
Harry may be the Alpha’s son, but her father always said that he is too week to be the Alpha. His father was hoping that his sister would marry someone who would become the Alpha. With Harry’s third time going through high school and college, he goes away to California for college. He wants and needs to establish himself away from the pack. He is tired of all the bickering between his father and his sister’s in-laws. His princess of a sister, very high maintenance with not many brains, married Nat’s brother. Because of them, he has to stay away from Nat because they are now somewhat related. Yuck! When he sees Nat around on campus, he tries to recapture their friendship from their childhood. They have to keep it quiet from their parents and everyone in the pack. When he finally sleeps with her, being her first, he realizes that she is special to him, regardless of what anyone else says. When she tells him that they can’t be together and to not contact her anymore, he abides by her wishes, even when his heart is breaking.

A wonderful and engaging storyline with great characters. This story is about Natalia, an Omega female and Harry who is next in line to be Alpha. A great wolf shifter read that will keep you turning pages with action, drama and romance.

Will they? Won’t they? If, when? Natalia is an Omega in the same pack as Harry, who is Hector, the Alpha’s son and in line for leadership if dad ever gives up the position. Hector dangled Alpha in front of Harry, but preferred his sister Elena. Elena marries Natalia’s brother Duncan. Both Natalia and Harry are contemptuous of their siblings choices. They shared a moment at the wedding, which they pretend to dislike but it stays on their minds. They both end up at Berkley and the dance continues. Interesting watching their side eyes and what ifs. The method of storytelling with the time jumps was a bit off putting. Interesting story. The miscommunications make the story funny. What unexpected conflicts will their not talking cause? I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Nice cover art!
Harry and Natalia had been friends, however, family pressure created a rift that neither of them could cross. Wolf’s Heir is a gripping story that I couldn’t put down.

Natalia & Harry grew up in the same pack. They played together growing up but were never friends. He’s the son of the pack Alpha & she’s from the wrong side of the tracks as seen by the Alpha family. Another round of high school & they are still antagonizing each other. She’s looking forward to graduation so that she can attend college in California & she won’t have to deal with the drama at home or see Harry. Or, so she thought. She catches a glimpse of someone she thought was Harry, but dismisses it as someone who resembles him. As her classmates are all making jokes about the professor, she recognizes a voice from her past. Yep, Harry is attending college at the same school. They are both studying the sciences & end up as study partners. They have always had a pull towards each other & it heats up shortly before graduation. She tells him that they can’t continue & she stops answering his calls & texts. Several years have passed & she gets introduced to an investor who is going to be leading up the research team at the lab where she works. She knows she has to keep her distance from him for a variety of reasons: 1. He’s her boss. 2. Their families can’t stand each other, with the exception of her brother & Harry’s sister who are mates. 3. She’s been keeping a major secret from him & it could ruin everything if he finds out.
Juniper has another great story. I loved the characters. Natalia is smart & sassy (snarky & sarcastic especially when it comes to Harry). Harry is trying to prove that he’s more than what his father thinks of him. He knows that he’s stronger than his father & Natalia think of him. He’s strong, HAF, & knows what he wants & it’s Natalia. He just didn’t realize it sooner than he did. When these 2 are in the same place sparks fly between them no matter what caused it. I could not put this one down. I read it in one day. I loved the ending & wished there was more of these two.
Wolf’s Heir by Juniper Hart
Harry and Natalia are friends, when they are young they ran together as most you wolf do. They are from different sides where Nat is from a poor and Harry is next in line to be Alpha and very rich. Damon, Nat’s brother, and Elena, Harry’s sister get married but all they do if fight. Just like the two families. I found this book to be a wonderful story, starting when they are young. There is magic between the two that you can’t help rooting for. I just love the way Juniper Hart wrote the character of this story. It held my interest through the whole book from begin to the very end. I would give this book more stars if I could. If you like romance stories you will love Alpha Heir. Book two in the Kiss-Mate Shifters series a well written hate/love story. This is Harry Laurier, and Natalia Hailey’s story that I enjoyed reading. I hope there is more in this series to come. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Harry and Natalia are immortal wolf shifters who grew up in the same pack. Harry is the Alpha’s son and Natalia’s family is considered beneath them. Friends while they were young, the animosity between their families drove them apart and only got worse when Harry”s sister began dating Natalia’s brother. It was a volatile, loud relationship that neither Harry nor Natalia approved of. Natalia is on her third cycle through high school and can’t wait to get away from all the fighting and go to Berkley. After two years she realizes Harry is there too, and they spend time together. Harry and Natalia are complex characters and following their ups and downs kept me interested until the very end. Natalia, an Omega female, has been infuriated for a long time with Harry Laurier, and he knows it. His father is the Alpha of the pack, so he has to do what is expected of him if he ever wishes to take over when his father steps down – although it doesn’t look like that will happen for a very long time.
Natalia moves to California, grateful that she wouldn’t have to see him again. And yet they keep running into each other! Why does it seem that he is the only one who understands her when they don’t even like each other? And when will they see that Fate has plans for them that neither can outrun?
I enjoy this author’s books. The characters are well-portrayed, and the story line is interesting, presented to the reader from the past to the present to help understand the situation better. Grab your copy and see if these two will ever get together as mates, especially when there is a secret involved that could blow up everything!
The book starts 150 years ago with two wolf shifter cubs, who rough play with each other. We follow them and their strange relationship of on again off again frenemies to stranger relationship until they finally make the leap to become mates. It is fairly clear, where the story is leading to. Personally I became a little impatient with their antics and just wanted them to get over their bad dynamics.
I think the book was not deep enough to warrant this length, therefore I lean more to a 3.5 stars, but others may think differently..

This is the second book in the “Kiss-Mate Shifters” series and I have to admit to liking this one more than the first. The telling was a bit different than what I’m used to from Juniper Hart, but it works so well under their circumstances. The character’s personalities and insecurities twist together to make them relatable. Add to that, the drama, angst, and secrets and you have a storyline that kept me entertained throughout the book and wanting to find out what would happen. I felt like I was part of a moment in their timeline and brought up to date as we got to know each other.
Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. will they all get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong. To find out what happens go buy the book. You won’t be disappointed I wasn’t.

3 1/2* I really wanted to rate this book high. It has a good plot. But a large majority of the book places everything in the past. It was kind of annoying to begin with but I see that the information is necessary. I would rather it began in the beginning and said so many years later rather than 15 years ago. It makes it feel as if you’re waiting for the main event. What stopped me from loving this was that most of the book was spent with a hot, cold relationship. They were drawn together but maintained a snarky negative relationship blaming it on their family. That part of the story line just seemed to drag on too long. I was starting to get bored just hoping they’d get on with it. There was so little time they spent in harmony. Just the very end. So this was a good book but it just didn’t thrill me.
This is the 2nd book in the Kiss-Me Kate series. Great series and enjoyed the story! Harry and Natalia’s slow burning love/hate romance will leave you wanting to find out more as you turn pages.
