The second book in the My Winter Wolf series picks up where book one left off, and really explores Akira’s growth. The bonds between the various characters develop over the course of the book, and I loved the fact that Akira nourished her friendships, as well as her relationship with Ashley. The mythology for the world was woven in well, making it a richer story, leading to an action packed conclusion and revelation that leaves you begging for book three.
Wolf’s Echo by Arizona Tape is an amazing story to read. This is book number two in this amazing series that I have fallen in love with. If you love reading stories about shifters, fantasy and paranormal romances then this amazing story is definately for you and I highly recommend it to all.

Arizona Tape is an excellent writer. Just when I thought she had used every trip there is to add twists and turns to the tale, she add another unexpected twist to it.

In this second book in this series Akira finds her wolf. The group of seven are still on her quest to find the relic to her village. But she isn’t the only one looking for it. This time Akira finds herself and the group begin to unearth secrets about each other. They find danger, enemies, friendship among other things on this part of their journey. I can’t wait for the next book.

It was kinda slow going at first. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it but I kept reading and feel in love with the story. It’s so different from other shifter books and I wasn’t expecting the mate twist. Just read it!

In the second book, Akira has found her wolf at a great cost! The amulet she wears instead of Aspen connects her to the Great Wolf and she turns into someone else with memories of what occurred after she shifts back to herself. They are still searching for the Winter Stone…but why? Akira will finally choose which twin to mate. They go into a city where they find even more trouble and a huge sacrifice is made for one of them. Aspen needs the Winter Stone but why? These questions and more will be answered in the final book of the series. I received this book via Booksprout and am leaving a voluntary review.
Akira’s journey to find the Winter Stone continues in book two of the My Winter Wolf series. This unique shifter story if full of danger, betrayals, magic, suspense, mystery, romance and a cliffhanger that left me wanting to read book three asap.
The adventures keeps going as the band of seven head towards the east. Akira continues her journey to find the Winter Stone, the most sacred object her tribe owns. The series continues in the same way with beautiful descriptions of the scenery, amazing definition in the fight scenes and future development of the characters personality. They face many enemies, betrayals, surprises, and dark magic but it all serves to harden their resolve and deepen the friendship respect and love they have for each other. This is an excellent second book because it furthers the storyline but keep the reader waiting for more. .

This is such an original series. Tape has a unique take on shifters and mates. I really like Akira and Ashleigh, although I still also like Aspen and hope he gets his happy ending too.
