The Henchmen return to finally give us Wolf & Janie’s story. He was just supposed to be saving her from herself… and the half dozen criminal enterprises that would want her blood when they realized what she had done. What he hadn’t planned on was her invading every aspect of his life with her fiery temper and inability to take no for an answer. And when he finally got beneath her walls and … got beneath her walls and found out why she had gotten herself into trouble in the first place, he knew what he needed to do.
He sure as hell didn’t think he would end up being the one who would need saving…
This can be read as a stand-alone and has a HEA, but features characters from The Henchmen and Savages series.

There are so many reason why I loved this book. Janie – the little mysterious woman who sets of bombs we finally get her story and background. Wolf – you hunky beard wearing man of a few words who knew you had such a sexy side. Lex – you sick SOB we finally find out your fate. And last but not least Repo I can tell your story is gonna rock!!
This author has not created a character I haven’t fell in love with and that she has all of them cross over into most of her books us just a big freggin bonus!!
Loved this book SO MUCH!! The two most opposite people you would think that would fit together ended up being the perfect match! Like how did this happen? Jessica Gadziala happened! She spins a story like none other! Wolf and Janie are complete opposites attract. Their story isn’t like any of the others. It was perfect!
Ever find yourself drawn to the strong, silent type? Well, Wolf of The Henchmen fits the bill to a tee!
So what was this story about?
Janie (a.k.a. JStorm), at the age of sixteen, had escaped sixteen days of a woman’s worst nightmare. Lo found her, cleaned her up, trained her, and helped her become the badass bitch we know and love.
When Janie decided it was time to take action, she did… and it quite literally blew up in her face.
Enter Wolf. A man of few words, he knew what it was to have a traumatic past that continues to haunt you. He saw something in Janie that had him helping her behind everyone’s backs. Call it instalike or instalove, but it was magical what these two had brewing between them.
He kissed me like worship, like a prayer, like a benediction. He kissed me like it was the only thing standing between him and absolution, like together we could wash away our sins and start anew in the Elysian Fields.
Can two halves truly make a whole? Well, that’s what this story is all about. It’s about two somewhat broken characters finding that one person who not only understands them, but who can handle whatever they throw at them.
People like us, people with pasts, with scars somewhere deep inside, there was no telling what could happen when we were pushed, when we were forced to confront the dark parts of our psyches. He didn’t judge me for breaking. I wasn’t going to judge him for doing so either.
It’s so hard to choose a favorite Henchmen. While similar in a lot of ways, I found their glaringly obvious differences to be like a punch to the face. Their loyalty to each other knows no bounds and they are full of so much freaking heart! Wolf may not be in the habit of stringing more than a few words together, but the way he communicates, the profundity found with his one word, speaks volumes. I love the way the author captured this man. Got me looking at mountain men bikers in a whole new way!
Wolf and Janie are a twisted twosome who I loved to pieces. By the time you finish reading this book, you will truly believe that some people are really perfect for each other (at least in Navesink Bank!)
Wolf, yes that’s his real name, grew up in the MC. Now he’s the Road Captain. Everyone knows that he has little to say but such a lot with a few words. Janie is a member of Hailstorm. She’s a bada$$ who takes no $hit from anyone.
When Wolf sees her running down the side of her road, something inside him tells him he has to stop. He has to help her. Janie’s on the run from everyone including Hailstorm.
Can the man who speaks no more than 5 words at a time and the woman who barely trusts anyone find their perfect match to pull them out of their darkness?
I’ve needed to read Wolf’s book since Reign. There was always something about the dark, one word speaking man that made me want more. Wolf and Janie are amazing together. Gadziala did a perfect job with their story. While Wolf is always Wolf, he was also something else for Janie. He was exactly what she needed, and she was what he needed. Gadziala has hit some pretty tough topics with this series but has done an amazing job.
5 Badass Janie & Wolf stars
First of all this book was AMAZING!
I felt reading this book. The scares that Janie carried around with her…. Wow!
I can’t get over how much I ended up loving Wolf. He was silent but sexy, and those one word answers he would give…. oh had me hot under the collar!
Wolf and Janie had a very messed up past that neither were fully healed from.
I loved seeing them both helping each other to heal and move on in their own time.
This book sucked me in and kept me on my toes wondering what would happen next. I absolutely loved it!
2nd reread
“Woman”
This is another great book in the Henchmen series. This book started where “Monster” ended.
I had some serious reservation about Wolf, especially with his one worded demands. Wolf’s father had a “Rule” 5 words or less to explain yourself…Trust me after few beating his mother received cuz of him, he learn fast to follow those rules…
I so glad in this book, we get Janie story and why she’s the way she is.I loved the journey between Wolf & Janie & how they found the pieces that were missing from their lives for so long. They started to open up & share some of their dark secrets. Aww, the strong and silent type, the big mountain man who says Lil but feels deeply, it took Wolf 2 whole days to tell Janie what he done for his mother
I really liked that we saw the previous characters again. The epilogue was just freaking AMAZING.
I can’t wait to start Paine book…… June seems so far away… I also can’t wait for Repo & Maze story…He was such a sweetheart with Janie in this book!
Wow, Janie and Wolf, who would’ve thought? and I gotta say this book was fantastic being that 1 that these two never crossed my mind to be a couple & 2 they are a most awesome couple-love love these two, they both are such strong characters each having their own demons to overcome which they do together. Can’t wait to see more of Janie and Wolf in upcoming books, which I’m really behind since I just found Jessica Gadziala and reading Navesink Bank Universe in order.
As hard as Lo’s story is on me, Janie’s is arguably harder. To be so young, and be damaged by such an evil a$$hole as Lex Keith, I was cheering for her the whole time she was busy blowing up all the friendlies places to keep attention off all the damage happening at Keith’s place.
I felt for her when Wolf found her crying on the side of the road, and felt almost as much for him because I didn’t know if all her damage could ever be healed enough to really be with him.
Ms. Gadziala pulls off a heck of a great story! Lots of action, explanations of both of their lives to explain what had happened before to earn Wolf his nickname, and Jstorm her need to blow things up, lots of yummy sexy times, and finally an end that was very necessary. One of my absolute favorites in the Henchmen MC series.
Wolf and Janie!!!! Damn that is one amazing story. Wolf made the right call stopping on the road that night. Wolf and Janie together can take on the world. Wolf is a man of few words but he does know how to speak to make you melt. Janie is by far one of my favorite people wish I could be apart of her girls club.
Can’t wait to see what this author has in store for Repo!!!
