The first title in New York Times bestselling author Vivian Arend’s light-hearted, feel-good paranormal series.~~~~~Talk about getting your signals crossed… the Yukon wilderness. Only the sexy beast of a man she bumps into at the cabin starts cravings of another kind, setting her hormones raging as well as raising strange questions about wolves, and mates, and pack challenges.
All wilderness guide Keil Lynus wanted was a nice quiet retreat before challenging for the Alpha position of his Alaskan pack. He wasn’t planning on meeting his destined mate, or finding out she’s not aware she has the genes of a wolf. Between dealing with his accident-prone younger brother, a deaf mate with an attitude and an impending duel to the death, his week—and his bed—is suddenly full.
Far from the relaxing getaway any of them had in mind…
Warning: Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase “talking with your hands”. Includes dangerous use of sarcasm and hot nookie in a remote wilderness sauna.

Good shifter book with a alpha male.
I’ve read it twice.

What’s a girl to do?
This book was a fun read, not to deep or emotional. The story line was simple. Loved it
Great read
Keil and Robyn were strong characters. I loved the instant connection, but his willingness to wait and give Robyn the chance to get use to the idea of wolves and being one stole my heart.
I have to tell ya, I absolutely adore T.J. who is Keil’s younger brother.
There were many laughs to be had in this book. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to see what’s next.
Robyn lost her hearing at an early age but she hasn’t let that stop her from doing anything including going on a back country trip alone because her brother’s job is forcing him to back out of the trip and nothing he says is going to stop her. When she gets there and discovers she get the place to herself she is even more excited as she explores all the changes since the previous year.
Keil needed a trip to the back country to center himself before the Alpha challenge that will replace the current Alphas, so he drags his troublesome, clumsy brother with him. He is concerned about the concession the current Alpha’s have made in the past few years to accommodate the new pack members that drift in and he worries those concessions will undermine the packs core beliefs and the other challenger could further damage his pack because he isn’t a good wolf.
Robyn is relaxing in the sauna minding her own business and when she walks out to fill the bucket with more ice for the sauna she runs right in to a big wall named TJ and from there the adventure truly begins.
I always seem to come back to this book for some reason, maybe it is the clumsy TJ that can’t seem to stay out of trouble although funny as hell in some cases and deadly in others. My favorite part was when he stabs his brother in the ass with a ski poll. Then of course there is also the parts where they forget Robyn can read lips and send her into rages at their inability to think before they talk. Then there are the awesome Star Trek references that any treky would appreciate. Finally, the best thing of all NO EDITING ERRORS makes Wolf Signs so worth reading.

It’s a good book for the beach — light and easy
I read anything from Vivian Arend! All her books are great!
Well wriiten, with “never a dull moment”
a good book ..easy to read.
Great story. It kept me wanting to turn the page to see what was next. I want to read more from this author.
Really enjoyed the characters and how they evolved
Too much un-nessesary sex! It was fun that she was deaf since I’m interested in ASL
Loved
This review is for the newer version.
This is a great story and just too short. I wanted more but by reading the series you get a lot more information and story.
Loved all the characters we met and it sounds like more fun will be on the way with the pack.
Keil is one hot yummy alpha and Robyn being deaf was definitely interesting and different. Loved it. She is one strong lady.
TJ is such a clumsy sweetie.
The author has added to this book since I first bought it and has kindly given me the extra additions, I love the added little epilogues we are getting.
I own and have read this series many times but just recently realised my reviews from the back of the books have disappeared. Absolutely no hardship to reread these books.
A good introduction to the shapeshifter worlds of the far north. There are bears, and wolves and the stories are funny and a bit steamy. I enjoyed this, but a number of other books in the series are better.
Just a fun and interesting visit to land in your mind.
There wasn’t much of a storyline. There was no courtship or a storyline leading up to the sex, after only knowing each other for a day they jumped into sex, then it was nonstop sex from there on. I’m just not interested in that, I want a nice story to go along with it..
I enjoyed reading this book, I guess am are romantic at heart, it was intriguing that they found each other out in the wilderness.
