Wolf Landing is Aimee Easterling’s final installment in her amazing, action-packed Alpha Underground Trilogy. Fen and Hunter are trying to hash out their own place in the world, where Fen’s pack can run free and feel safe. Unfortunately everyone from the townspeople to the All-Pack seem stacked against her.
This story is fast-paced and well written, filled with mischief and mayhem, danger, manipulation, intimidation, intrigue and even murder. The characters are those we’ve all grown to love with a few new ones added into the mix. This book has truly been a pleasure to read, and a wonderful finale for the Alpha Underground Trilogy!
In here things are starting to change for Finn. There are some sheep killing on pack land and the council sent a wolf to help keep them in check. Hunter and Finn are strong together although other pack member are creating bonds as well. This is a nice third and final book in the series. A lot of things come to a breaking point. I did listen to this on audio. Angel Clark did a great job with this one as well.
Enjoyable saga
I didnt want the book to end, l was really enjoying getting to know all those in this wolf pack and watching the relationships grow. It was a good sized book and really kept my attention. I also own the audible book, I am used to the narrator’ and how she speaks, she suits these characters. Recommended in all forms.
I enjoyed the conclusion to Fen’s quest. The story is fast paced and filled with action. I liked all the twists and surprises.
Fen has grown so much since the start of her journey. She overcame many obstacles and oppositions, mated, re-established ties with an estranged parent, acquired a pack and found a home. Through it all though Fen has fought a constant battle within herself. Now, finally Fen has found her inner peace and discovered how truly strong she is. At last becoming the Alpha she was meant to be.(4.5)
Amazing end to a wonderful series…
Wolf Landing is the third and final book in the Alpha Underground series and I am sad to see this exciting, action-packed series come to an end. The stories have all been imaginative and immensely entertaining and the endearing characters shall be sorely missed. In this fast-paced adventure, Fen, the main character, is plagued with more problems than ever as she tries to get her position as a legitimate alpha pack leader affirmed at the All-Pack meeting (think “high council of wolf shifters”). She and her mate, Hunter, are trying to provide an acknowledged territory in which their small group of rebels, outcasts, and misfits can all safely live in peace. Sadly, nothing is ever easy for Fen or Hunter. Their story makes for some truly enjoyable escapist reading. If a little vacation from reality seems enticing to you, do yourself a favor and read/listen to Wolf Landing. For that matter, be indulgent, get in on all 3 amazing adventures. I look forward to what Ms. Easterling offers her readers next.
Angel Clark has served as the narrator for all three books in this trilogy. I don’t always agree with the pace of her reading (in some places it seems a bit slow to me) and I feel that she overemphasizes a lot of words (especially the words “I”, “me”, “my”…) but, overall, she does offer an enjoyable performance in each installment.
While I did purchase this book, the author provided me with a free audiobook copy and I am voluntarily offering this honest review.
If you find this review helpful, I thank you for so indicating.
This is a really good story. Fen is growing into the Alpha that she needs to be. Will she be able to make the ruling wolf council agree to their pack having a territory? Read the story and find out. I am hoping there will be more stories that spin off from this one. It is good and I am looking forward to what the author writes next.
Great book highlighting Fen”s journey to become a strong Alpha to her pack of misfits. It also tells her the struggle of her inner wolf and Fen learning how to act as one. Truly enjoyed this book which concludes Fen’s trilogy.
