Overall a good read.
New take on a love story; interesting reading
IT CATCHES YOU. VERY INTERESTING IN THE SITUATIONS THAT THE CHARACTORS FIND THEMSELVES IN. MYSTICAL, ROMANTIC WITHOUT BEING DIRTY, AND HOLDS YOUR ATTENTION. A VERY GOOD BOOK.
Read the series…loved every book!!
This was an entertaining story of wolf shifters.
I really enjoyed this. A little different from other werewolf books I’ve read, but this “different “ was a good different
I did love this book. The realtionship between the main characters evolved beautifully.
It was okay for me but found there were holes in the story i.e. how he went to town and bought clothes — where did the money come from. Other than that, it was a good read, just not the best read for me
Everything you want a time traveling Celtic werewolf romance to be!
This was an enjoyable read. In the beginning I was a little confused with regard to the timelines for the characters, but once I figured that out, I was able to focus more on the story. I liked the two characters, and rooted for them throughout the story. I loved the interactions with the side characters as well. It ends with a connection to the next book, but can be read as a standalone. I’m curious what happens next.
This story as a lot of potential, there were some really great aspects to the story and some that didn’t work for me. I have a hard time with animal stories if I know there is going to be abuse or mistreatment; this book didn’t have that but it does have a character that I am unsure of. I will explain that.
The positives: Reardon. Can you say Irish, and werewolf?! He was such a wonderful character; hard and gruff, but passionate and sweet. I loved his dialogue and attitude; just great to read. I liked the plot of the story and the way the story unfolded. It was also packed with action as well as steamy moments. I thought it was quite original. I really liked the interactions between Reardon and Brandy; they seemed like opposites yet balanced each other nicely. Also the secondary story line of lycanthropy was fun and I think really helped me to like Brandy a bit, though it does seem like a weird hobby for a (non-crazy) scientist, LOL.
Not to positive: Brandy. While she was a nice character and had a great heart, but her education I wolfs and wolf care was a bit lacking… I know that wolfs are mysterious and often compared to dogs but they are not dogs and the way that Brandy talked about and treated her wolfs was more like a dog sitter rather than a biologist/vet. That is my only real issue with the story, it’s not major but it did lesson my enjoyment of the story.
Overall I thought this was a good read and it was entertaining. It was a nice story and I will try this author again in the future.
I really liked this book. The characters where likable and well developed. The writing was good. Love the little bit of history. Well done story line.
This was an interesting twist and not your average werewolf story. I really liked the chemistry between these to characters and i loved the concept of the whole book. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
A paranormal romance with lots of action and twists and turns. Revolves around betrayal, redemption, and love.
