“A clever romance with strong characters and an intriguing fictional world.” – KIRKUS REVIEWSA REBELLIOUS OUTCAST
Cocky. Coy. Wolf shifter. Tabor is the hollow’s only half-breed, scorned and forbidden to use his powers. Constantly overlooked despite his strengths, Tabor believes Sasha is as shortsighted as the rest of the pack until she proves there’s more to her than a blindly obedient lapdog … the pack until she proves there’s more to her than a blindly obedient lapdog to the council.
A DUTIFUL PUREBLOOD
Spirited, stubborn, and deeply loyal, Sasha feels the pressure from her pack to claim another pureblood, yet no one is brazen enough to defy the elders and toy with her . . . no one besides a sexy, hotheaded half-breed.
AN ATTRACTION THAT THREATENS THE FUTURE OF THE PACK
Bewildered by the deceptively proud and surprisingly sensual Sasha, Tabor would risk everything to claim her. Despite her vanishing bloodline, Sasha can’t resist the charismatic half-breed even as predators threaten their pack and the elders pressure her to breed with a pureblood.
In a fantastical post-apocalyptic world, where only the strongest survive, sometimes trusting the heart is the bravest act of all.

I loved everything about this book! <3
This series and author are in my top ten favorites! I adore Nikki Jefford’s books! Especially this first book in her wolf-shifter series. This was such a fun new take on a werewolf book! It’s set in a dystopian world where humans are the ‘bad guys’ and wolf shifters live in the woods in communities. They have wild wolf and human tendencies: they go on runs, hunt and patrol their territory but wear clothes, garden, and gather to eat meals together.
It was such a fun group with so many different personalities and opinions, some you love and some you love to hate, haha. I loved this first book and the two main characters: their sassy, snarky comments but also how they grow throughout the book- finding their place in the pack and putting their foot down to what they want and don’t want; what they will tolerate, what they’ll stand against, and not letting people treat them like less because of who their parents are or because they’re female.
I can’t put down any of her books but this is definitely my favorite series by her. Try it out, I pinky promise you won’t regret it!
(New Adult Book, 18+) Each book in the series is about a different couple in the pack.
I loved loved loved Jefford’s take on wolves. Tabor was perfection, worthy of his alpha female mate. If you need your next shifter romance fix, look no further than Wolf Hollow.
What do you do when you have to make a choice between what others believe you should do and what you believe will make you happy? Do you honor their wishes, what they believe is best for others, and themselves, or do you follow your heart? Sasha (a purebred) has always done what is expected of her, for the betterment of her pack, never really believing she has a choice.. a voice. But now that Tabor (a half breed) has shown an interest, she’s beginning to realize that maybe she does get a say and a chance of happiness for herself. I love Nikki Jefford and can’t wait to see what she writes next!!
This story was different from other shifter stories I’ve read and I loved it. It takes place where disease and desolation has plague earth and only very few remain. Survival is a key thing everyone has in common. It’s a brutal world where the Wolfs Shifters have to fight to survive and face enemies like the Vulhena; deadly cougar like deformed animals and humans. We get a glimpse right away of what the Humans intentions are as soon as they capture Sasha but thanks to her friends like Aden, they rescue her. There’s tons of sexy characters. I honestly was crushing on all of them. Not only or main Lead like Tabor *drools*half breed by the way Warlock and wolf but Aden? Raider? Yum. The first few chapters are a background on what we are dealing and who is who and what’s happening at Wolf Hollow and then it really picks up. We have two POV’s: Sasha and Tabor and get a feel of who they are and what they want and how they get interested in each other. Great introduction to the series. Can’t wait to keep on reading!
This is the first book I’ve read from this author and I’ve actually never heard of her before but I was not disappointed. I loved this book I’m always looking for good werewolf books because there just doesn’t seem like there is that many good ones around but I really enjoyed this. It was amazing!
This book was very heavy in the description and it was great, it was very well written and I was sucked into the world. I loved the whole world that was created.
Tabor and Sasha I loved them. They were so cute! The way they bounced off each other before they wanted to admit they liked each other was so amusing. I liked how although they were both different they could find comfort in each other the fact that Tabor was a half-breed and Sasha was pure blood and they were both lonely so the fact they find comfort in each other I thought was sweet. I liked them together. Once they began to get together the protectiveness from both Tabor and Sasha for each other, it was so cute. Like how they would defend each other with their last breath it was cute. I loved it. They are like my favourite couple I think! I just loved how they acted with each other and that they became mates it’s so cute. I think that’s my favourite word for this story. The way they acted with each other. I loved their relationship it felt so honest and true and they both just wanted to escape from what was conditioned on them.
Alright the bloody breeding in this book, these elders are obsessed with the wolves breeding and creating more children so the hollow can be protected from danger. But the way they want on and on about having more purebred wolves from Sasha it was ridiculous! And then when one of the other wolves who I forgot the name of gets two mates and suddenly Sasha choosing Tabor as her mate is a problem! These elders are a bunch of hypocrites they want more wolves yet they want to try and dictate who they have them with. That’s not cool. The elders really annoyed me, especially when they just wanted dictate who people mated with.
The feels, this author can make me feel all the feels when a certain thing happened (trying to not spoil) Sasha and Tabor were hurting I felt it, I just wanted to give both of these babies a hug. The writing was amazing and I always love when the writer can make me feel the feels.
It’s very enjoyable story, it is a little slow at the start but once you get past that you are thrown right into the story. I loved it. I loved the werewolf aspect in this book and how they lived and the information we get about them. I loved the romance.
I felt there were some unanswered questions in this book but the way it was left makes it sound like there will be a book 2, so I am hoping it will be answered then. It will be very interesting to see where book 2 does go but I will definitely be picking it up.
I Loved Wolf Hollow and the characters involved. The story of Sasha and Tabor is not an easy one as they have to overcome struggles along the way. I definitely recommend a trip to the Hollow !
Nikki Jefford is a new to me author but not any more!! Wolf Hollow was a fantastic and capitavting dystopia/paranormal read, i’m hooked and already anticipating the next book Mating Games!!
The setting is a post apocalyptic world with wolf clans, humans are a dying race who hunt and torture and new species causing threats all around. Sasha is the last purebred of her pack and her clan wants her as a mate for another clans pureblood to carry on the line. Sasha wants to pick her own mate and not be told who to bred with, she supports the clan and honours the traditions she grown with but she is determined to do things her way about most things regarding the pack and her life and try to bring the clans thinking more forward.
Tabor has always felt on the side lines of the clan he is the only half breed shifter. But he doesn’t let that dampen his persona. He’s strong, cocky and sure of himself he’s knows he’s looked down upon but he’s there to protect his mothers clan and his small group of friends. He’ll stand up for what he feels is right and won’t be pushed around. He longs for a mate but knows he’s no body’s first choice because of bigotry but all that changes when an incident shows him how Sasha acts thinks and feels he’s drawn to her and knows he’s in for a struggle for others to except them as a mated couple and he needs to show Sasha that he is a good choice in a mate.
Sasha feels the connection with Tabor but his head strong way both turns her on and frustrates her. With twists and turns around every corner they really have a fight on their hands. And we get to join them on this amazing magical journey of suspense, intrigue and truly a breath of fresh air when it comes to a paranormal read. Which captivated me from the very first page most paranormal reads are all about fated mates this really made for a great change. I would highly recommend Wolf Hollow to any fans of dystopia or paranormal reads and if you’re looking to try a new Genre this read would be a great book for your introduction.
A lot going on in this book. A good love story, a good creation of a setting for the way the world had become, and nail-biting moments.
