This is Wolf Claimed book 1 of Kellie McAllen’s Supernatural Sanctuary series. I liked this book. It has a sweet and fresh quality to it since the wolf is still a teenager. Secrets are revealed to Luna and she is faced with a whole new reality. How will she accept the paranormal? Will she embrace it or run away howling?? Great book!
Another great series starter from Kellie McAllen. Luna lives in a small town that believes women are destined to be housewives and mothers. Her family and another one in town have been enemies for a long time but Luna has no idea why. One day Luna’s dreams of wanting more for herself and having a life full of adventures all comes crashing down on her.
Will Luna be able to handle being thrown into the supernatural world and learning about all the secrets the women have never been told?
Luna finds the strength within herself she always knew she had deep down, and surprises the men in her life too.
A little bit of Romeo and Juliet. A whole lot of action. Nice world-building. Well crafted lead and supporting characters and a pretty compelling story. Kellie McAllen’s Wolf Claimed: A Werewolf Shifter Romance (Supernatural Sanctuary Book 1) is all that and a fun read too. A great start for a new series. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.
I received this book as an ARC and am giving my honest opinion. I absolutely loved this book!!! I felt like it was so well written and the concept of females wolves being rare was a great twist. The character building was fantastic! I want my own Nikko I really can’t rave about this book enough a definite read. I don’t want to give anything away so GO read it I really hope there and more with Luna and Nikko. Maybe even Zander…. Can’t wait for Dragon Scarred!
Wolf Claimed is a great beginning to what I feel will be wonderful series. The story has a Romeo and Juliet aspect to it with a modern day twist.
I liked the Luna and Nikko. They are strong and well developed characters. The world that Mrs. McAllen created is fascinating. I look forward to learning more about the Sanctuary and it’s other inhabitants.
Awesome read. Well written with a great plot and characters. I was absorbed from beginning to end. Fast paced, intense, action packed read with a bit of Romance thrown in. Luna is a typical high school girl, until she wakes up one day as a werewolf ……the first in generations. She knows nothing about werewolves until she is thrust into their world. Nikko, is next in line to be alpha of his pack, he is furiously attracted to Luna, discerning she is to be his mate. Luna is attracted to Nikko but stays away because her father told her to. Nikko and Luna’s family feud reignites, so they escape to prevent a war between their packs. Nikko and Luna find a supernatural sanctuary filled with other misfit/ homeless creatures, and they are also struggling with the mate bond. Fantastic start to a new series…..can’t wait to read the next book!
Fast paced tons of action and drama like expected in teens lives. Luna and Nikki teens and believeable. Totally engrossing
A great start to a paranormal series.
Kellie McAllen is a must read author and this book a must read. Great start to Oaranormal Sanctuary Series
Wolf Claimed is a wonderful paranormal romance that definitely had elements of it being a forbidden romance. I really loved Luna and Nikko. I enjoyed reading this book and I’m excited to read more.
This was a really wonderful book and I really enjoyed reading it.
I loved Luna from the first moment I met her. She stand for herself, even when lost, unsure and facing things she wasn’t even thinking was existing. Nikko on other hand needed some time to get on the was to my heart. Unsure in front of his father, afraid even, but still remorseful towards Luna and ready to fight to save her (however she don’t need saving, she can take care of it). Luna was the best thing that ever happened to him. Let’s trow in some vampire, some fight, mistrust, love and sanctuary for those in trouble (which I would like to hear more about).
This is an adventure filled fantasy romance with a Romeo and Juliet trope. It’s a page-turner of a story where the adventure moves quickly. There are likable, dangerous, and weird shifter characters, especially at the sanctuary. I was surprised that Nikko and Luna don’t spend more time at the sanctuary and I wasn’t quite sure how their time there will impact the two later in the series. I imagine this is one of those loose ends that will keep you wanting to read further. The fight scene at the sanctuary was more interesting than the fight scene during the climax, which was too rushed and, for me, didn’t come across right. The first book does have some form of a conclusion, so it won’t leave you frustrated.
I read lots of young adult novels and usually don’t feel the age factor, but this one definitely has a teenage voice to it. Even though it is about two high school students, there is one hormone induced sex scene, so it’s not appropriate for younger teens. I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Summary:
Luna has always followed along with her father’s requests without question. She has liked Nikko for a long time, but kept her distance that is until recently when everything changed. Luna, a vegetarian, began to have cravings for meat, feelings of being very powerful, and the need to run. Luna’s father and brother have been keeping a secret form her and her mother, they are werewolves! Now there have not been any female werewolves for as long as anyone can remember so they never thought it could be a possibility. Nikko knew form the moment Luna entered school that something was different and he couldn’t stay away form her. HE just wasn’t what was going on until she changed in front of him changing both of their lives forever. The undeniable attraction between Luna and Nikko forced them to look at their lives and each other with new eyes accepting what they once thought was impossible. Nikko was willing give up everything to protect Luna showing her that his act of claiming her was more instinctual than purposeful. Luna left to save her family, but her allowing Nikko to go with her opened them up to a possible future together. I was intrigued to the Supernatural Sanctuary where shifters of all kinds were accepted. I for one can’t wait to find out more about the other individuals living at the sanctuary.
Good story with a main character who is discovering who and what she is. The storyline is a bit different and the characters go well with each other.
What a enjoyable and entertaining read I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I did. I for once like that we had a female alpha and that Luna act the part to the fullest she didn’t put up with any of Nikko foolishness. Overall a great read and great start for a new series. Can wait to see what else is in store for this series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
Nikko and Luna
Even though this book is about two high school students It was a pretty good read and I would not discount it because of the youth factor.
You have Nikko who is line to be the next alpha of his pack but gets no respect from his father. He is holding in a secret that makes him different than his father in all aspects.
Luna is a human female that is unaware of the wolf pack in which she resides. Her father is the pack alpha and they live among humans while keep ine secret of their dual natures from all of the females mated in the pack.
Wolf Claimed by Kellie McAllen a five-star read that you will claim like a prize. This is the first novel in the Supernatural sanctuary series and what a bang it starts with, the next one can’t be here soon enough. I loved how Kellie brings a little of the romance of Romeo and Juliet into this story, but also adds a very modern twist and shows us that every woman has a choice and I loved that. Nikko was great, despite his stupidity he shows true strength when it matters. Luna was sublime I loved her strength and how she views the world. I for one can’t find out more about the sanctuary and the characters we find there.
Good story. Loved the characters and the witty banter. I recommend this story.

ONE INTENSE READ!!!
OMG! Wow! Man, talk about one action packed, fast paced, heart pounding, pulse racing, adrenaline pumping, hard hitting, page turning bombshell that captivates from the start. All the ups and downs, ins and outs, along with a few glitches and grinds make for an unpredictable experience. Talk about some crazy events but this one really got to me. Kellie totally nailed this bad boy with such realism it rocked my world. Her characters and scenes are so realistic and believable. She writes with such passion that weaved into every page throughout the entirety. All the drama and suspense keeps you focused on the pages and frozen to your seat waiting for the next show to drop. She uses such graphically detailed descriptions it really pulls this little treasure together beautifully. Kellie did a remarkable job bringing this read to life. Fantastic job Kellie, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
Good beginning to a new series. I like how the main character doesn’t know what she is at first. It is multiple pov which is a plus for me and the story line a little different where the females don’t know about the wolves even if they are family. I wished they stayed at the sanctuary longer than they did but wasn’t a fan of Mara so wasn’t to sad they left. Even though some parts felt rushed it was a good read and I will continue with book two when it comes out.
Fiercely sexy! A sexy PNR about shifters and forbidden love. I really enjoyed the story and the characters. Luna and Nikko complimented each other perfectly both strong and stubborn.
