Having been a fan of the character John Clarkem for some time, it was very informative to see his back story. An unusual story with an unusual ending and I look forward to seeing the motion picture.
Great background on the origins of John Clark. My favorite Clancy hero. It all makes sense when you learn how John Kelly evolved into John Clark. A great read. I finished it on a trip to Europe and it makes me proud of this American hero. Clancy at his finest.
Great book
In my opinion, this is the best book by Tom Clancy.
Great Book, lot of good action.
Actually all of the above. Gone too soon but the ghosts of his characters still linger.
Thoroughly enjoy this book.
I loved this book. Hard to put it down. If you like mysteries and action, this is an excellent read.
Detailed and keeps you going back
My favorite Tom Clancy, because it is more personal.
You gotta love Clancy!
My favorite Clancy book!
I’ve been hooked on Clancys’ books since “Hunt For Red October” and in many of his books John Clark makes an appearance,so this was a great look at how he got his start in the spook business.
Tom Clancy usually good this was no exception.
Kept me guessing
Incredible revenge story.
Read it before you see the movie.
Pretty tough reading for me, but good book.
Could have been half as long
Selves deep into the character and his doubts and failings but comes to reasonable ending with conflicts within a soldier not totally resolved but manageable with his life and worldview.
