A wonderful story of faith, love and forgiveness.
An emotionally wrenching story of a young mother who runs away from her husband and family.
Jana’s convinced she’s inherited her mother’s dementia. Afraid of hurting her daughter, she leaves. Her husband struggles to run his restaurant, fight his attraction to a flirty employee, and be the father his daughter needs. Jana’s father and stepmother …
Beautiful story really touched my heart
This was a good follow up to A Vow To Cherish. A Vow To Cherish was such a powerful book on early onset dementia. This book deals with another hard mental issue, clinical depression. I think these are hard issues but really good to look at in this format. I appreciate the author for tackling these subjects. Well done!
Her books are one of my top favorite authors. Wish I could read them all.
From Alzheimers in book 1 to a mental breakdown in this story, so much anguish results. It is another powerfully emotional story involving the Brighton family. This tells both the story of Jana and her nervous breakdown along with the effects on her husband, young child and her parents. It is heartbreaking and arouses many emotions, for and …
I love Deborah’s books. They are always filled with truth about how God works in the lives of His children. This is a great inspirational read for any woman who have hidden things in their past, and how God can bring healing.
This is a wonderful story about real life challenges to family life, how families stick together and the through the power of God survive and thrive. Very realistic, painfully honest, and really encouraging that with God, healing is possible.
A clean read. A story of how far down we can get but not so far that the Lord can’t lift us out. Great story of family and how we can become closed off from others.
Loved how the characters developed! With each main character narrating its own part of the story, it was possible to see this evolution. This story had lots of realism and multiple life stages.
The characters faith is strong after a daughter disappears.
Great read
This was the second in a series. These books are about serious subjects addressed with Christian values which I enjoyed very much
Wonderful book; very well written so that I could not put it now. Best of all, it was clean and I was comfortable reading it. It proves you can be a great writer without using foul language or sex. Thank you, Deborah
This book continues the story of John and the loss of his wife to Alzheimer’s disease and finding new friendships and new love. It also explores the ramifications of assumed truth (that isn’t) and how far-reaching spreading rumors can be. Well-written and well-plotted.
In my opinion, it was wordy and went on forever about the same things. I was wore out by the end.
