Holy Roman Empire, 1527In the wake of Martin Luther’s religious reforms, Princess Christyne von Heidelbraum is compelled by her sense of duty to help ease the burden of her people. When she stumbles upon a dying man in the woods, she vows to aid him—even when she discovers the arrow shot in his leg was put there by a heretic hunter. With both her physical and spiritual well-being in danger, she … danger, she must choose between conscience or adhering to the laws of the Empire.
Present Day
Doubting her calling to become a hospital chaplain, Amber Carrington takes time off from her theology studies to volunteer with refugees in Germany. Working with children, making a difference, reconnecting with the conviction that once drove her—these were her expectations. An instant attraction to a professional soccer player wasn’t a part of the plan…and she can’t let him distract her from her purpose.
As a new Christian, Seth Marshall is determined to put his popularity as a world-renowned footballer to good use. Unfortunately, old habits and public opinions are hard to overcome. When he falls hard and fast for Amber Carrington, his former life—and her no-dating policy—may block his perfect shot for the woman he loves.

Have you ever felt called to do something or had a dream, a conviction? In this story, we find two women whose hearts are determined to stand strong even though others say they are wrong.
“God doesn’t call the equipped, Amber. He equips the called.”
These are words Amber Carrington heard and had to be reminded of because even though she had a strong feeling of being “called” to minister to others, she felt she was lacking experience.
She felt she wasn’t qualified to work with others because her life was easy. She had mental voices in her head saying she didn’t understand what others were going through, she was too naive and too sheltered.
For Christyne von Heidelbraum, it was a matter of being brave like Esther in the Bible. In the 1500s, life was hard for a woman who questioned her beliefs and was shown how deep a love God had for her. To stand against all she had been taught from the Roman Church. Could she take a stand even if it could mean her death?
Both women in their time had someone who challenged them and encouraged them to step out and not be afraid of their “calling.”
I love books by Sarah Monzon, she has a wonderful way of blending two timeline stories into one beautiful, meaningful, and life-changing story. This is another of the Carrington family stories. If you’ve read any of the other books you know the big brothers of Amber. This is Amber’s story and I feel Sarah Monzon has handed us another wonderfully, delightful, and deeply moving story.
The characters in this book came alive and captured my heart. They went through issues in their lives where they needed to dig deep and really search for answers. There were also bits of the struggles refugee children go through. The desire of fitting in or just surviving. Often we don’t know what another person is going through unless we just listen to them. The author portrayed this very well in her characters.
I was touched and challenged in my heart to listen to others so I can minister to them and their needs. To also not be afraid to step out and share God’s love with those around me.
If you love dual-time stories, then you have to read this book and the whole Carrington series.
I highly recommend this book. I was provided a copy of this book by the author. All opinions in this review are my own.
“His lips pulled back in a smile. Innocence and sass. A combination he very well could fall in love with.”
“These Carrington men… You can’t help but love them.” Over the past few years, fans of Sarah Monzon’s Carrington Family series have fallen in love with the Carrington brothers (Trent, Michael, and Adam) and have been eagerly awaiting younger sister Amber’s story. The wait is finally over! With You Here captivates readers with a heartwarming story that demonstrates the power of true love through faith and determination. With You Here can be read as a stand-alone novel since each book in the series has its own storyline, but readers will be so captivated with the Carrington family that they will want to go back and read the first three books of the series.
Two women, almost five hundred years apart; both strong in their beliefs and faithfulness to God. The gift of true love finds them when they least expect it. With You Here is the perfect blend of the past and present, and author Sarah Monzon is at her very best.
“As a scholar, he touched her mind. As a man, he touched her heart.”
In the historical storyline, readers are taken back to the Holy Roman Empire in 1527 where citizens are required by law to remain loyal to the Roman Catholic Church. People who believe in freedom of religion, even differing beliefs within Christianity itself, are persecuted. The rich historical details of the Protestant Reformation, Martin Luther, and other important individuals are fascinating. After saving the life of a man injured by heretic hunters, Princess Christyne von Heidelbraum’s public declaration of her religious beliefs is decision that will change her life forever.
“You’re worth waiting for, Amber Carrington.” He paused a moment and seemed to be wrestling with himself. His lashes brushed hers as he closed his eyes and whispered, “And I’m in love with you.”
In the contemporary storyline, Amber Carrington’s volunteer work with refugee children in Germany introduces her to another volunteer, professional athlete Seth Marshall. Seth and Amber both feel an immediate attraction to each other and find themselves falling in love, but outside interferences could destroy their chance at happiness. Through Amber and Seth’s work with refugee children who suffered immensely in their homelands, Sarah Monzon shares the plight of immigrants and asylum-seekers, and the need for peace and love in our society.
With You Here provides readers with a fabulous new book boyfriend to add to their collections. Seth Marshall is a handsome, flirtatious, professional athlete who has recently become a Christian and gave up his partying lifestyle. He only has eyes for the one special woman in his life. The chemistry and banter between Seth and Amber will have readers breathless and swooning. The ending is an extremely satisfying conclusion to Carrington Family series, but readers will not want to say goodbye to this incredible family.
With You Here is highly recommended for fans of contemporary romance novels by authors such as Becky Wade, Denise Hunter, Courtney Walsh, and Susan May Warren, and readers who enjoy time-slip novels by authors such as Heidi Chiavaroli, Rachel Hauck, and Melanie Dobson. For readers who have never read a novel by Sarah Monzon, this is the perfect opportunity! You will not be disappointed!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author/publisher and was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.
Additional Quotes:
– “Someone told me flirting wasn’t a sin and just a part of my God-given personality. Plus, I found some pick-up lines from this bloke named Solomon. If guys in the Bible can charm lovely ladies, why can’t I?”
– “She wasn’t sure she’d ever get over the sense of wonderment at the thought that the man beside her loved her. It was everything she’d ever read in books or heard from other girls. Butterflies in the stomach. Weak in the knees. And when they kissed? More fireworks than the Fourth of July.”
I am in awe of courageous people. Where does their courage come from? I know the easy answer is God — Psalm 121:1-2 (ESV) tells me: “From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” But knowing that God is my Helper and believing He is my Helper are two totally different things. Courageous people have something inside of them that believes with all their hearts that God will see them through no matter what. I want this kind of courage; a courage so strong that when I look at a Goliath I see a minute issue God will deal with easily and quickly.
In With You Here, all three protagonists deal with this issue of courage on some level, but it is Christyne’s courage that convicts me the most. Christyne, a German princess, lives during the Protestant Reformation. Talk about a time of serious persecution for anyone who thought or went against the Catholic Church! Christyne, no longer content with the dictates of the Church, secretly reads a Bible that’s been translated by Martin Luther and tends to an injured heretic she has hidden in her family’s castle. She is fully aware of the dire consequences if found out, but continues to care for the injured man and to study God’s Word because both are the right things to do. If this isn’t enough to hold a mirror up and force one to consider his/her current faith in God, there is a moment where Christyne’s father’s betrothed — a very young, scared woman named Clare who’s been forced into this marriage by the Church and the German Emperor — scolds Christyne with these words: “Do not look upon me with such pity. I do not confess to know the Lord’s ways, but I trust that He will be with me even here.”
WHOA! I admit that my heart stuttered a little at these strong words. I had to stop reading for a second to ponder, “Has my trust in God ever been that strong?” Here is a woman who is being forced into a marriage she does not want reprimanding Christyne for looking upon her with pity when really Clare is doing nothing more than stepping onto the path God has set before her. Talk about courage!!! Knowing God will be my Helper through anything is easy. Clare knew with her head that God would see her through. But believing and trusting that God will be my Helper that’s the real struggle, and courageous people, like Clare, believe and trust no matter what. The historical thread weaved into the narrative of With You Here is tremendously engaging, but it also forces the reader to check their faith, trust, and courage level, and for that, I am eternally grateful to have read this beautiful story.
With You Here is a wonderful conclusion to a fantastic series. I will miss the Carrington tribe very much, but I do look forward to Mrs. Monzon’s future novels. If you are looking for a brilliantly written, well-researched timeslip series, then I highly recommend not only With You Here, but the entire Carrington Family series.
I received an eBook copy of this book from the author in order to review. In no way has this influenced my review. The opinions expressed in this review are my own.
Ms. Monzon creates wonderful, swoon-worthy heroes that will make you sigh with the romance of it all and put you right in your feelings. With Seth Marshall, she knocked it out the park. (Or should I say GOAL!! since he’s a soccer player?) He’s charming, witty, and a bad boy who’s been redeemed. S.W.O.O.N!
And Amber Carrington is a girl I’d befriend. She has a heart for Jesus and a desire to help his people. What more could you want in a friend? Plus I kind of adore her brothers.
Add a princess, a real stinkin’ princess (historical portion of the book), and I was hooked. Christyne knows there’s more to faith but just can’t quite put her finger on what, until Lorenz comes into the picture. I loved her bravery and her blossoming romance with Lorenz. I might have been holding my breath through some of her scenes. If it had been a movie, I would have covered my face with my hands, peeking through my fingers.
All in all, Sarah Monzon took me on a journey I’ve come to expect from her. One filled with deep-seated truths, swoony romance, and amazing research that pulls us right into the scene.
*I received a complimentary copy from the publisher. My review was not required nor influenced and I loved the book so much, I bought my own copy.
Oh my. I haven’t read anything by this author yet that I haven’t loved. Her writing style is so unique. I love the historical fiction alternating with the contemporary and how they mesh together in the end to link up the parallel stories. This story was wonderful. I especially liked the British expressions and could relate to them, as my husband is British and I’ve heard every one of them for years. He, too, is a huge “football” fan.
She had me in suspense wondering what would happen to the characters from the Holy Roman Empire! Oh my goodness! And she kept us on tender hooks about whether they lived or died! I wanted to skip ahead a couple of chapters to find out their fate!
This book is part of a series with returning characters but there are no cliffhangers and they can be read as stand-alone, although definitely best read in sequential order.
I highly recommend anything that this author has written. Her work is delightful. For those who may be unfamiliar with Sarah Monzon’s work she writes clean Christian romance, often with parallel stories of historical and contemporary genres.
I especially enjoyed the historical portion of this dual timeline book. It reminded me how easy I have it as a Christian in the my own country and time period and that early Christians went through so much hardship.
Sarah Monzon has a knack for writing stories that explore potentially controversial issues in a respectful and graceful manner. Whether or not I share a particular character’s worldview, I can gain empathy and a better understanding of people by reading stories like this (and obviously, reading enjoyment).
Both likable yet conflicted, Seth and Amber pose a striking combination of opposites and commonalities. Amber is a home-grown believer, protected on the straight and narrow. Seth’s reformed lifestyle is evidence of his genuine, fledgling faith. Yet they both have insecurities and a fierce love for their families and the downtrodden. Readers are sure to relate to one or both of Monzon’s main characters.
One of the best things about reading a series is revisiting characters from previous installments and the Carrington brothers do not disappoint! I highly recommend the Carrington Family series and I’m delighted to add all four to my all-time favorites.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and was under no obligation to post a review. The opinions expressed are my own.
With You Here, by Sarah Monzon, may be the fourth and final book in the Carrington Family series, but this captivating time-slip story reads very well as a stand-alone novel. With beautiful writing and rich historical details, this book is fascinating and very enjoyable. Elements of romance, history, and faith are thoughtfully combined in this moving, well-researched novel.
Ms. Monzon uses dual-timelines purposefully and effectively, creatively displaying her genuine talent as a writer. With You Here features compelling contemporary scenes that are made even more powerful by the presence of meaningful historical scenes from centuries ago. With superb pacing, important details from both the past and the present are carefully revealed and connections are disclosed as the story reaches its significant and satisfying conclusion.
Even while overcoming difficult circumstances and deep insecurities, the characters in this novel display courage and conviction in a way that is absolutely inspiring. As they wrestle with the consequences of their choices, endeavor to nurture their faith, and strive to find their purpose, the characters also continue to search for truth, hope, and redemption. Throughout this novel, profound themes of fortitude and compassion are encouraging and relevant.
With You Here is a remarkably interesting and touching novel. The sweet moments of romance, the intriguing history, and the impactful themes are appealing and thought-provoking. This book is truly engaging and impressive. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
*I was given a copy of this book from the author/publisher. A review was not required. The review I have written is voluntary and contains opinions that are entirely my own.
Author Sarah Monzon does a great job with her split time novel. Taking us back to the 1500s she wraps a lot of history into this part of the story. I found it riveting, in fact, to read about her characters in that time frame and how they lived and thought. Then forwarding us to the present day, she does an equally good job, including her speciality of writing about different cultures.
Characters that are strong and well-defined bring this story to life. Very human in their life challenges and weaknesses, belief in God is the common thread, giving this story a wonderful depth. And yet there are moments of lightness that will make you smile. I highly recommend this book!
I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.
“Admitting that something in him recognized something in her sounded too much like a sappy chick flick. A rotten sappy chick flick.”
I am new to Sarah Monzon’s Carrington Family series but am overwhelmed by my love for the family after reading this book. Though it’s the last in the series, it can absolutely be read as a stand-alone and I didn’t feel like I missed out on any of the backstory of Amber’s older brothers since the author highlights what the reader needs to know. This emotional, heart-rending story is more than just Amber, an innocent theology student, falling in love for the first time with Seth, a world-renowned soccer player who has just become a Christian. The story addresses a believer’s journey into finding God’s path despite the naysayers and what trust in God’s time and will truly looks like. It also addresses the issue of refugees and their plight because of others’ greed, ignorance, and evil. And the time-slip aspect into 1527 Germany during the Reformation and persecution of those opposing the Roman Catholic church is fascinating and enlightening. Lorenz and Christyne’s part of the story holds such breath-taking anticipation that it almost feels like a suspense novel as they fully commit themselves to the beliefs of Anabaptists who are being hunted down. Again, they (like Amber and Seth) stay true to their calling despite those who threaten their very lives.
The romance between Amber and Seth is beautiful and incredibly sweet. Seth’s persistent devotion is endearing and their dialogue is the best! I’m not a love-at-first-sight kind of a person but their story completely captivated my heart and won me over from Seth’s initial declaration of “Amber Carrington, I think I’m in love” after meeting her on a soccer field.
If you enjoy time-slip novels that grip your heart, soul, and mind, this book is a must-read. Now I’m off to devour the first three books in this series and get to know Amber’s older brothers better!
I received a copy of the book from Radiant Publications and the author and was under no obligation to post a positive review. All comments and opinions are solely my own.
I loved the two stories in this book!
In 1527, Christyne learns from Lorenz and it changed her life. I liked reading about the Reformation from a different perspective.
The modern-day story takes place mostly in Germany, at a youth center for refugee children.
Amber questions her calling. Seth is trying to live a new life. The two work closely together, not always seeing eye to eye. But there is something unexpected about Seth that draws her to him like a magnet to metal.
I loved seeing Amber learn about herself. I loved how Seth saw Amber. I loved how flawed he was and how he worked to improve himself.
There are many twists and unexpected happenings in each story. I won’t give spoilers. I will only recommend this book, highly!
It was nice to see the Carrington family again.
Though this book reads as a stand-alone, I think I will binge read the entire series now.
Bravo! Ms. Monzon has written a strong finale with this last book in the Carrington series. With the final story centered around Amber, it was nice to have a couple of cameo appearances of other family members. However, this can definitely be read as a standalone. After reading Amber’s story, I am tempted to revisit her brothers’ stories. This is a fictional family that is easy to love.
Ms. Monzon has given us two fictional heroines separated by several centuries. Both women, strong in their faith, are seeking direction from God. As each is desiring to draw closer to God, love comes to each in unexpected ways.
I loved Amber and Seth as a couple. The witty banter and romantic chemistry were a pleasant foil to the more serious spiritual thread where their separate faith journeys met. Although Amber has several insecurities as to God’s direction, I loved her sassiness and spirit.
“If they were ever to really and truly collide, she half feared and half hoped no one and no thing would ever be able to separate them. The force would be too strong.”
I also loved the story of Christyne that took place during the Protestant Reformation. I am always challenged by the stories of Christian martyrs. I found Christyne to be full of grit, courageous in a time when women had little rights.
“Was there any greater purpose in life than that? To be used by God?”
I like how the story is told from three separate points of view; that of Amber and Seth in the contemporary storyline and Christyne in the historical story. Monzon expertly allows the reader into the heart and mind of each character, as their struggle to rely upon and trust God is universal, regardless of historical setting.
I look forward to reading more by Ms. Monzon in the future.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author/publisher and was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.
Ahh, happy sigh! After reading (and loving!) the first three books in the Carrington Family series earlier this year, I was super excited for Amber’s story! With You Here did not disappoint, it was everything I dreamed it would be and so much more! While our lives are different I could relate to Amber in so many ways. I too know what it’s like to wonder if God has actually called you to something or if it was actually your own voice you heard, so her story deeply touched me and inspired my heart! I am seven years older than Amber was in this book, but I too made a commitment to purity as a teen, and have never been kissed nor gone on a date, and this story was a beautiful reminder of why I’m waiting for the right man and totally renewed my hope that there is still a man out there that God created for me, and me for him!
I loved Seth so much, he is so sweet and such a good man, and I couldn’t help smiling every time he appeared on the page!
I loved this book so much! I adored everything about it and it was an absolute delight to read! With You Here is right up there among my favorites of Sarah Monzon’s books and I know I’ll definitely be rereading it in the future! With You Here is without question one for the keeper shelf! I highly, HIGHLY recommend it! Be sure to grab yourself a copy, you will not be sorry!
I received an ebook copy of this book from the publisher which did not influence my review in any way. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.
My Thoughts on With You Here:
What a good book! Sometimes books that flip from present-day to past and back can get confusing and you’re not sure which character is where or what they’re doing. This isn’t one of those. This book is a great quick read that is going to keep you reading and wanting more!
I love children(probably why I have eleven of them) and loved that she goes to Germany to work with children. I’d love to do that! So it was fun reading about what she was doing and what it’s like over there. Also, I really enjoyed how while the book is a Christian fiction it’s not just a lot of verses but rather how their life reflects the work and word of God.
Going into this book I didn’t realize it was a series so now I can’t wait to find the books for all the boys and read up. I enjoyed getting to know the Carrington family through Amber and can’t wait to read more about their stories.
Another thing I loved was the history of the Protestant Reformation era and would love a few books just set in that time period!
I have voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from Celebrate Lit. All views expressed are only my honest opinion. What I think you should know:
With You Here is the fourth book in the Carrington Family series by Sarah Monzon. It can be read as a stand alone novel, but it does reveal ending for some of the others in the series so I would recommend reading in order if you want to read all of the series. It is a time slip novel with two stories, one of them takes place the 1500s in the Roman Empire and the other in present day Germany. When Princess Christyne sneaks out of the Castle to see the state of her people she stumbles upon a man who has been shot with an arrow and is fighting for his life she feels led to help him even if it could bring her mortal danger. In the present day Amber Carrington doubts her calling as a chaplain after people question her life experience.
What I think you should know:
Christyne’s story is set in the wake of Martin Luther’s reformation, it was a very volatile and violent time for Christians, this is portrayed in the story.
There are Syrian Refugee Children who tell their stories, which include the death of those they love.
What I think about the book:
Parts of Christyne’s story were hard for me to read, it was hard for me to see the fighting among those who believed in Christ, but differed on the expression of their faith; however, it was a beautiful story that made me think. Seth and Amber’s story had equally heartbreaking parts, but was an easier story for me to relate to. Seth being new in his faith, but trying to make decisions and represent Christ was very authentic and fun to read about. Amber’s fears that her experiences in if don’t qualify her to minister to others is a problem for many Christians who don’t feel they have a WOWing story. I enjoyed this story and look forward to more of Monzon’s works.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Celebrate Lit, this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own.
A dual timeline story, Sarah Monzon’s “With You Here” is book four in the Carrington Family series. Not having read any of the previous books, I still had no trouble following along with this one. If I’m being honest, I am not a big fan of contemporary fiction, contemporary romance in particular, but because the second thread of the story is historical, I convinced myself to try it. While I did enjoy the historical aspect better, I was also charmed by the modern-day segments. I was intrigued by the calendar house, an architectural design previously unfamiliar to me. The sports angle didn’t garner my interest, simply because I’ve never been a sports fan of any kind, but I do appreciate the part that it plays in this book.
Indeed, the lives of athletic superstars are not all that they are made up to be. As Seth Marshall’s story reveals, it truly is harder for a rich person to enter the kingdom of heaven than for a camel to go through the eye of a needle (Matthew 19:24). A new Christian still learning about his faith and struggling to overcome the temptations of his old life, Seth feels tainted by his past. Amber Carrington, on the other hand, wrestles with thinking that she can’t help others as she feels called to do because her life has not been filled with hardship. Nevertheless, “[s]he’d come to volunteer. To serve.” Working with Syrian refugees in Germany brings the unlikely pair together, and as their faith increases, it also becomes challenging at times.
Nearly 500 years earlier, in the Holy Roman Empire, Princess Christyne von Heidelbraum faces her own trials. Her strictly law-driven father, a Catholic, vehemently opposes the Reformation, but Christyne risks her life to fulfill her vow to “improve their people’s lives”. Finding a severely wounded man in the woods, she remains true to her conscience and cares for him, even after discovering that he is “nothing more than a cursed Anabaptist.” Should her father or anyone else find out, her life will be forfeit.
Taking a stand for faith and acting according to moral integrity rather than social mores and peer pressure, both stories speak to the fact that persecution is ongoing but that nothing is impossible with God, and that He has a perfect plan for each of our lives.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through Celebrate Lit and was not required to post a favorable review. All opinions are my own.
It was very hard for me to want to go back and forth in this time slip story because they were both intriguing. I loved the adventure with Princess Christyne von Heidelraum in the Roman Empire. Her courage was contagious as she set out under a disguise. Would soldiers recognize her as she left the place she felt safe? Her determination to succeed overpowered her. She didn’t really think everything through as she stumbled upon an injured man. Now what was she going to do? Was he an enemy or someone she could trust? I chuckled as Christyne without really planning just goes off a mission to save people. The place is in turmoil and I don’t think she has figured out what danger she really has placed herself in.
We slip back into present time with Amber Carrington. She is fierce and has a call on her life. She hears God calling her to take her place as a hospital chaplain. Some people she encounters doesn’t think she can do the job, but they don’t understand how she knows God has called her to this place. She has been stationed in Germany and doubts start swirling around in her head. It is just like the enemy to cause doubt and insecurity when God has called you to help His people.
Both women will face tough decisions, over think things, let doubt and insecurity try to stop them. Christyne will come face to face with death. Is she strong enough to stand for what she believes in even it meant she would die? Can Amber reach these children and help them overcome their pasts that were terrifying. God has chosen both women and He has equipped them. Now they must trust God enough to stand up, not be afraid and put on the Full Armor of God.
The author has written a story that parallels each other with faith, strong secondary characters that play an important role in the two main characters lives and an incredible lesson in standing up for what is right and knowing God has equipped you to win the race.
I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion.
This was such a fun read! Sarah’s books have been on my radar for quite awhile but I hadn’t read one before this one and if all her books are as good as this one, I am ALL in! I really enjoyed the dual time periods in this book, Sarah wove them together well and tied the story lines together in a cool way. I loved the character of Seth, anyone that calls himself a daft cow when trying to impress a girl is one of my people! This was a quick and easy read(I read it in less than 24 hours) and it’s WELL worth it! I will be going back and catching up on Sarah’s other books soon.
I received this book from the author and was not required to post a positive review. All thoughts are my own.
This was my first introduction to the Carringtons and I absolutely cannot wait to get to know the rest of the family! This was a split timeline following Amber Carrington in the present day and Princess Christyne von Heidelbraum in the Holy Roman Empire. Both women are faced with tough choices and the possibility of true love during their journeys.
The Holy Roman Empire is a setting that I’m not that familiar with, but I really enjoyed learning more about. What a volatile time with such violence between religious factions! Not for the feint of heart. Christyne finds herself on a knife-edge with danger and uncertainty on either side of her decision. She must discover if her faith is strong enough to see her through this turmoil.
Amber Carrington is pursuing her calling as hospital chaplain, serving refugees in Germany but she struggles with doubt. She’s unsure if her testimony is enough, having come from a stable home and a loving family. On top of working her way through her doubts, she also has to deal with some major sparks after she meets Seth, the oh-so-handsome football star. Sigh! I adored Seth. Talk about a charmer and so sweet and funny to boot.
I’ll be reading the previous installments of this series ASAP and I think I’ll pick this one back up for good measure. This is a must read for fans of family sagas or a good split timeline. Fans of Susan May Warren and Becky Wade, do yourself a favor and get to know the Carringtons.
I received a copy of this book from the author. I was not required to write a review and all opinions are my own.
With You Here is a split-time novel where I was guessing until the end how they tied together. The historical story was fascinating. I learned a lot in such a fun way. The contemporary story line was also interesting with current events and the characters were relatable. I really loved how Amber’s main issue was brought up and handled… I don’t want to post any spoilers, but it’s a good one that I think is lacking in CF. There are great redemptive stories with amazing transformations but it is really great to read a story about some who grew up as a Christian her whole life. I loved the humor that was sprinkled in too. If you haven’t read a Sarah Monzon book yet, I highly recommend that you do!
I received an ecopy of this book, all opinions are my own.
