Reread! This is my fave of the 3. Is it? Oh I love them all, who am I kidding. Callum makes me swoon….
‘My glorious queen, I told you we’d have a beautiful life, you and I.’
‘With everything I am and everything I’m meant to be.’

Since I did a re-read of Until the Sun Falls from the Sky I knew I had to continue this series because hello King Callum! The #1 book boyfriend EVER!! As with my original review I agree with everything I said. It is still a five-star read but I wish I could give it more because listening to the audio of this we really get to experience all of Callum’s sarcasm and wolfish tendencies which I loved. Now I am off to listen to Wild and Free.

Five “With everything I am and everything I’m meant to be.” Stars
Kristen Ashley blew me away with book one of the three trilogy with Until the Sun falls from the Sky but book two was one of the most incredible paranormal romances I have ever read. There was not a point in this book where I was not 100% pulled into this story. My emotions were all over the place from happy, to heartbreaking and most of all in sheer awe of this book!!
“But, my wolf, compassion is often mistaken for weakness when the fact is, there is very little that is more powerful than the courage it takes to give it.”
Sonia is gifted. From a young age she was taught to hide her abilities of heightened senses from people because they might think her “odd” or “weird” and this made for a very lonely life for a little girl, even for her as an adult. Since the night Sonia helped a wolf who was injured, she was not been able to let go of him. Little does Sonia know that her wolf is about to become the one thing she can’t live without.
“The days, I can forget, baby doll. But the nights…” His voice dropped to a hoarse growl, filled with intense feeling. “The nights will be torture knowing I won’t have this for eternity.”
Callum is the epitome of an alpha male. He is the king over a whole race. Sworn to protect his people, his family and the ones he loves he will not stop at anything to be the best king he can be. Arrogant, bossy and set in his ways Callum knows the prophecy says he has to find his lifemate and although he knows who she is he doesn’t expect for Sonia to not only be his mate but to also be the one person he can’t live without.
Prophecies, war, love and lots of “play” this book will give you everything you never knew you needed in a beautiful story tied together with some of the most magnificent OMG moments you will ever read. I really could go on, but I want anyone going into this book to be as blindsided and astonished by Ashley’s story as I was. Sad that book two is over but thrilled to find out what happens in the epic conclusion Wild and Free.
This book is a great fantasy romance read. I was hooked from the start and devoured every word. A great read, I really enjoyed it.
The couple in this book is the perfect example of misunderstandings people can have when both sides make assumptions. So freaking true to reality, too. Both Sonia and Cal just fail to see things from any perspective but their own until they communicate, something that took them both a long while to do. I also found Sonia hiding all her hurts seriously annoying when she’d blatantly lie about it to Cal, even when he asked. But as it was very understandable, it in no way hindered my enjoyment of this book.
As a side note, you MUST listen to this one in audiobook format at least once. The narrator was freaking brilliant with those accents!
With Everything I Am is book two in The Three series, and follows the mating of the second couple prophesied to help save mankind. The story is compelling, sweet, heartbreaking, funny, sexy, and increasingly more intense. Note: although a separate book about a different couple, I advise to read book one for added backstory and character building. Also, book one was slow to start for me, but this was not the case for Callum and Sonia’s story.
Summary:
Sonia Arlington lives a very lonely life. She has purposely chosen to seclude herself, having very few friends, due to the varied extra sensory abilities she possesses and the life-threatening disease that will kill her if left untreated. She fears being thought of as weird or freakish, so it’s better to stand alone. With her parents killed when she was a child, Sonia finds peace and an end to lonlieness only in her dreams and memories of a wolf she rescued that fateful night. Seeing no end to the lonely life and future ahead, Sonia is blown away upon meeting the very man from her dreams, and confused and slightly frightened at the humongous turn her life has taken. Callum is King of the Werewolves, and imminently preparing for battle. When the rebel forces he’s getting ready to fight find out that Sonia is his human mate, he’s quickly forced to change his plans and claim his mate a lot sooner than he would have wished. Of course, being thrust into the heart of a new culture is always difficult, but Sonia is also Queen, so her responsibility is that much more. Soon, Callum is showing Sonia a life that is far from lonesome, and vibrant with love, laughter, family, friends, and so much more. It’s so much like her dreams, but can she trust it? Or is she just a kingly duty? She’s not exactly Callums usual bent, and she’s frail, vulnerable, human. With troublesome thoughts and feelings swirling through her head, can Sonia live the life of a fairytale, but without the the love of her husband? To make matters worse, will Callum and Sonia’s rocky relationship survive the knowledge that Callum is in actuality the wolf Sonia once protected as a child, and he never told her? Only time and explanation will tell, but time could be running out. While Sonia adjusts, Callum is coping with a different truth. His mate his mortal, and will only live the length of a human life. This in itself is a cruel twist of fate, but what’s more is the helplessness Callum feels after getting to know just how perfect his mate is for him. Will all the sweetness of Sonia help to prepare Callum for the crushing truth that he will live an eternity with only a couple of decades with his Queen?
I absolutely adored this book. Sonia’s story broke my heart, but I fell in love with her in the prologue. It was brilliant! Sonia, is one of KA’s best heroines in that she has that silent strength thing down pat. She seems incredibly fragile, while truthfully standing against a lot of hardship. I loved her entire character. Her generosity was unparalleled, her loyalty inspiring, her wisdom deep, and her love unrivaled. She was exactly the type to be Queen. Callum started out brilliant for me as well. Then he had me getting ready to throttle him, but quickly made me fall in love all over again and deeper this time, too. He was strong, commanding, sexy, compassionate, and so very wolf. Lol. The wolf culture and customs were awesome to read, as well as not a lot of what we’ve read before. Callum was perfect for Sonia, as she was for him. They both learned a lot from the other. Their story had me laughing, crying, yelling, and cry-laughing. The sex was HOT! Seriously, need-a-cold-shower-and-change-of-undies, HOT! Supporting cast was also intriguing, entertaining, and very much important to the plot. My only wish is I could get stories for all of my favorites (which there are a ton). The progressing of The Prophecy has me in the edge of my seat, and after reading the epilogue of With Everything I Am, I’m gagging for the third and final book. Well done KA! <3

Negatives & Positives
Unfortunately I had to read this on my OverDrive. That means I don’t have notes to help me in my review. I seem to remember a couple of typos in my copy, but nothing that interfered with the story. I loved both main characters, Callum & Sonia. I also loved Callum’s mom & we got to know Gregor & Yuri a lot more. The supporting characters felt real and were also well defined. There were so many things I loved about this one.
The intrigue, the adult romance, the mystery and suspense kept me reading and involved.
However, I had to take away points for how slow paced it was. This was mostly due to Ms. Ashley’s tendency to over describe or ramble in certain areas of the story. Usually it doesn’t effect her stories as much as it did here.
I know a lot of my fellow Kristen Ashley fans may disagree with me, but I really think this one could have been about 100 pages shorter. There were just to many areas that had the pace slowing down to a crawl.
All in all, it is a dang good, near about perfect, definitely hot and steamy read.

Always hard to put any book down by Kristen Ashley!
I picked up the audio book. I am on a shifter kick and was intrigued by this one. Plus I have read a few of Kristen Ashley books and thought if she can write shifters like she does the others I could not go wrong. This is the second book in a three book series but can be read as a stand alone.
Sonia dreams of her wolf the one she saved when she was little. Sonia losses her parents and is taken in by a family friend.
Callum is waiting to court his mate but when she is in danger that plan is tossed out the window. He has to take Sonia however, since Sonia knows nothing about supernatural being he tries to keep this from her but in doing so Sonia is convinced he is the leader of a cult. A cult that has rules she does not know and doesn’t understand.
Once she is told about them being werewolves she begins to wonder if the heighten senses she has may not be so abnormal. Sonia has a disease that will take her from Callum. It is stated in the prophesies. Will Callum find a way to keep her? If he cannot what is he going to do if he losses Sonia?
I liked the chemistry between Callum and Sonia. I loved that Sonia tested and kept Callum on his toes. What I liked was most paranormal books are slow at first because they are setting their wold but Kristen Ashley jumped right in no real world building it was great and didn’t loss me. I was captured and wanted to know what was coming next OMG the twists had my stomach in knots and my heart racing. I have to say the narrator, Stella Bloom, for the audio book was great she kept me in the story and never pulled me out.
Again, what is there to not like about Kristen Ashley. This series of 3 books is a very good read. Her Rock Chick series makes you wish you had friends like the ones in her books. She pulls you in so easily.
Another Kristen Ashley winner!
I love everything by Kristen Ashley but her take on werewolves is awesome. This love story is phenomenal
I love Kristin Ashley. And I love paranormal. Put the 2 together and it’s a win.
This series is based on paranormal romance, so don’t expect your typical boy meets girl theme. It has all kinds of weird creatures, from werewolves, vampires, to flying invisible beings that save the day. There is a war brewing, and humanity is at risk. The three books in this series will complete the war. Who wins, humans, magical beings, or both?
I am a huge Ashley fan. She is a consummate storyteller. I just felt like this story was not her best. It felt like many of the things that were done in the tale didn’t make sense to me and felt like it made the story less believable. Why would the hero not sit down and explain to the heroine who and what he and his people were? Why would he expect her to act in ways that suited his family and people when she didn’t even know who she was dealing with? And honestly how realistic is it that she lived with two people for the majority of her life and didn’t know they were vampires? Just felt the story was disconnected and didn’t make sense. I still absolutely love Ms Ashley but this one just didn’t live up to her normal standards.
Growly alpha male, spitfire heroine, sizzling sexy scenes, and just enough drama to entertain a table full of people home for the holidays?! Why yes, please;)
Callum and Sonia’s relationship kept me amused and irked. One minute I’m yelling exclamations of ‘no he did not!’, swiftly followed by mushy ‘awe, how sweet’! Talk about whiplash while reading! I was caught coming and going with the back and forth between the two. It did take me a bit to warm up to Callum, a common occurrence for a KA hero, however he redeemed himself in the long run! Sonia was just hilarious! She started out seemingly meek, but when she got mad…I totally got a kick out of her temper! Add in the hilariously, well-meaning family members and there was just no going back! And the ending! I don’t even know why it took me by absolute surprise because the clues were all there!
I can’t explain why I love KA’s paranormals a squinch more then her contemporaries, but I do! (Unless it’s Chaos, but that series is a whole other topic) I was swept away by the imaginative path this story took. Pack politics, vampires, werewolves, a backwards relationship, lots of sexy moments, and lots of fun characters? What’s not to like?
Out of the three in this series, this one is my favorite.
Wow! What a ride! A terrific book with exceptional characters. The story of Sonia and Callum is fast-paced, mysterious, and fraught with pit falls. Ms Ashley really scored on this one. I can’t wait to read the next one. Also, the book is 416 pages which allowed her to develop the plot and characters.
Have enjoyed the entire series, am finishing up the last book now and don’t want it to end. Great characters.
I highly recommend this book, as well as pretty much any book Kristen Ashley writes! Do yourself a favor and just read it!
Callum & Sonia
With Everything I Am is the second book in The Three series and one of favorites.
Sonia and Callum are life mates. Callum is the King of the werewolves while Sonia is human.
I love how the story started, when Sonia was a little girl and how she protected her “puppy”.
Callum was advised by Ryon to court Sonia, due to Sonia being attacked Callum had to save her and meet her right away. I also find it funny when they met again, Sonia now in her 30’s thought that she was kidnap by the leader of a cult. I love how their story unfolds and developed. Their journey together with Sonia falling in love and hating Callum and all the other twists that happened was cleverly-crafted.
One of scenes I loved in this book was when Sonia wrote this letter. It was very touching.
This book was full of emotion and will have the readers hooked from the beginning to the very last words written.
“Fuck, baby doll. I missed you too fucking much.”
“I loved you before you took your first breath on this earth because that was my fate but you made me love you because you ‘re just……. Fucking ……. You.”
“With everything I am, baby doll, and everything I’m meant to be.”
