This book picks up right where the last one left us.
Dela and the guys are in for a world of issues on this journey, and they may get more than they want. They finally reach the one who can help but everything the person speaks is in riddles. They are then forced to head back to Dela’s home and begin their battle with many.
Will they make it?
Can Dela ever have that life she dreams of where all are free and the war over?
Grab your copy but prepare for a cliffhanger and oh gosh what a cliffhanger it is.
Fan-frickin-tastic, I LOVED IT! When I read book 1 I was all about the slow burn and learning everybody’s backstory. Things start to move a little faster in this one though and its great! Vehel and Orergon are my favorite though! I can’t wait for the next book especially after that cliffhanger!
First let me state, I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review. Also the author is new to me and won’t be my last.
Even though you don’t need to read book one to read and understand this story, I recommend that you do. You will get a better understanding of what is happening. OMG!!! I know the third book is due out next month, but I’m going to go crazy waiting for it. I can’t wait to read the next book. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up.
This is an enjoyable reverse harem story, but be forewarned that it ends with a cliff-hanger. If that bothers you, you may want to wait until the rest of the series is out. Although the story started a little slow for me, I loved the characters. They are flawed in individual ways, and struggle to bond together. They grow as the book progresses. There is action, adventure, magic, and heat. I am looking forward to more of the adventure..
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The second book in an amazingly beautiful series! I love the characters (the main ones anyway). I love the world and I love the word-smithing. I can’t wait to find out what happens next!
I can’t even tell you how much I adore this series! In my opinion, this is the best series to date that Marissa has written. It is richly detailed, complex, atmospheric, and pulls you in from the first page. I very rarely ever give five star ratings, I felt this story deserved every star given. It’s rare to find a story that both pulls you into its world, and comes alive in such a fashion to make you a part of the cast of characters, very, very well done. That being said it was pretty slow going for the first half of the book, but once it got going it took off! The pace matched the storyline perfectly, no huge plot holes, and an excruciatingly interesting cast of characters that you just had to keep reading to see what they were going to get into next! Excellent read, thank you so very much for the opportunity to review this gem!
