I love Witchy Orders! This book is fun and engaging. I could not put the book down. It is well written with detailed characters. I love the plot and the setting of the magical town of Mystic Key. The characters are wonderful. They are interesting and witty. The mystery has many twists and turns to keep you guessing right until the end. I love this series and can’t wait to read the next book!
I loved this fun, witchy cozy mystery. It is skillfully written with a fun plot and great characters. It kept me guessing until the end and I’m looking forward to future installments. I received this book free and chose to make a voluntary, unbiased review.
This was a cute, fun read with a high snark factor and a twisty mystery to sort out. I think I like Aunt Hattie the best.
I received an advanced copy of the book and am leaving an honest review.
Love all the characters!
I find this series to be fun and entertaining. It affords a nice break from reality. I think the familiars Steve and Tito really steal the show. Shay is a nice change from main characters that go off hack-cocked and get into trouble. She thinks things thru. It sounds like the first victim deserved what he got, even as a ghost he’s a real pig! But is Shay’s vampire neighbor really guilty? Shay doesn’t think so but she has her work cut out for her to prove it. I had some of it figured out but not all of it.
I received an ARC. This is my honest review.
Another great book from this author. I thoroughly enjoyed both the characters and the plot. There are many twists and turns in the plot and no-one will pick the ending. Shay is settling into her new life on the paranormal island. She has a new friend Roman, who may turn out to be something more, as there is a definite attraction between the two of them. Shay and Roman were at a business mixer when a woman came in screaming about a man being dead. It turns out to be the most unpopular man (werewolf) in town. The main suspect is a friend of Shay’s so they help with the investigation to try and hopefully prove that that friend wasn’t guilty.
I liked this one even better than the first one! I really liked that I figured out what the killer was. I didn’t figure out the who though. The characters are getting funnier and the ghost this time, well, hate to say, but he did deserve it. What a chauvinistic man he was! Aunt Hattie is still my favorite. Her curses are so funny! And I can’t wait to see how things go with Bruce; you have to get to the end of the book to find out who he is.
Brilliant as usual. Misty as always gives you a story with an unexpected twist. I will definitely pass on my recommendation to read this book . Can’t wait for the next In the series
This is a great story suitable for readers of all ages! A man is murdered and when Shay’s daughter who has just gotten her first wand tries to mix up a batch of cookies using her magic wand she brings the man’s ghost into their house. Now Shay has to find out who did him in.
This is a light-hearted romp in putting all the pieces of the puzzle together to find the culprit.
If you like cozy mysteries then you will love this one and this series as well! This is the second book in the series so yo can get the first one as well to be up-to-date when you finish this one!
I love the fact that this is a clean story with no foul language!! Some authors feel that they have to use that language to sell a book because “it’s how people talk in real life” but Misty doesn’t fall prey to that trap! Her stories stand on their own without that “crutch”! Her stories are wonderful in and of them themselves!
I urge you to pick up one of Misty’s books and see what I mean. You will love this series and also her Blackwood Bay series as well! They are just what the doctor ordered to escape from all the bad news that is constantly bombarding us daily. You will have found a new author who you will just love reading her stories!
