How do you solve a murder no one believes happened? After a bitter divorce and a string of bad luck, Shay Graves seizes the opportunity to pack up her daughter and move back to the enchanted island of Mystic Key to work as a cosmetologist for her family’s funeral business. With a teenage daughter about to come into her witchy powers, a family of eccentric witches only a stone’s throw away, and a … throw away, and a job where the dead always have a say in their funeral arrangements, she’s certainly got her hands full.
But when the spirit of the recently deceased High Priestess appears and claims her death wasn’t an accident, things take a bizarre turn. Even worse, she’s determined to use Shay’s daughter as a pawn if it means she’ll get some answers. Proof that hell hath no fury like a vengeful spirit. And if there’s one way to ruin a fifteen-year-old girl’s birthday, it’s being possessed by the ghost of a bitter, old witch.
When local law enforcement proves to be less than helpful, it’s up to Shay to free her daughter from her new ghostly companion and, quite possibly, bring a murderer to justice. Lucky for her, she has a family of —mostly— capable witches ready to help end the murderous mayhem brewing up all over town.

Imagine being possessed by a vengeful ghost.
What would you do if it was your daughter who had been possessed?
Oh my witch!
I read the blurb and that got me so excited! Very promising. And it delivered! What a great new series! Quirky and fun, suspenseful and magical! Shay has to save her daughter from said ghost. And solve a murder while she’s at it. And I didn’t know who and what! Which I love in a mystery. Really recommend!!!
Cute & quirky story, love the way the magical world was embedded into modern day. The complexity of the mystery was also great.
There were a few plot holes that weren’t resolved or followed up on so that was a bit disappointing. Some of the ignorance in the town was also a bit over done. Like the sheriffs personality.
The very last twist didn’t really make sense, and left me with an ugh feeling, with how divorces work it was really a moot point but seems to now be made into a plot twist.
I would continue in the series & recommend it to cozy readers.
I loved Witchy Business! It is interesting and fun. I love the characters. They are quirky and fun. Shay is great. I like the magical town of Mystic Cove. This book is engaging and difficult to put down. The mystery has so many twists to keep you guessing. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the rest of the series.
Such a fun start to a new series! I love the Graves family! They’re quirky and fun and total individuals who do things their way. Aunt Hattie is the best! I can already tell I’m going to love, love, love, reading this series!
Such a fun story! I loved Shay and Ember and the world of Mystic Key! I can’t wait to dive into the second book.
Great start to a new series!
First off, anything by Misty Bane is going to be a good read and this new series is no exception. The characters are well developed, I would love to visit the town, and the paranormal twists are the best. Ms Bane has a very easy to read writing style and her plots will keep you busy with all the twists and turns. Ghost witches taking over people’s bodies, a gossipy blogger, what’s not to like? Can’t wait for the next in this series!
I received an ARC. This is my honest review.
Fun read and I’ll definitely be sticking with this series. Great characters who are quirky and at times laugh-out-loud.
I enjoyed this book. It’s a great start on a new series with interesting characters and a story that held my interest all the way through. I look forward to the next one.
I received an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the beginning of a new series for Misty and it’s going to be a hit just like the Blackwood Bay series is!
I enjoy Misty’s writing style and her characters. It doesn’t take long for them to become my friends as I read about them .
I heartily recommend this story to young and old alike as everyone will enjoy these adventures she conjures up. The stories flow easily and time passes quickly as you get into the stories. I hope you’ll come along with me and become a fan of Misty’s as well. You won’t regret it!
A good book is the perfect remedy to escape from the gloom and doom we are constantly being bombarded with.
