From USA Today bestselling author Dionne Lister comes an exciting new paranormal cosy mystery series. All it takes is one morning for Sydney Photographer Lily Bianchi’s life to go off the rails and over a cliff. A well-dressed English woman turns up at her door, swearing she’s a witch. If that’s not crazy enough, she explains Lily’s brother, James, has been kidnapped and the Paranormal … Paranormal Investigation Bureau needs Lily’s help finding him.
And the craziest part? The Englishwoman tells Lily she’s a witch too. Before she can say, “Where’s my coffee?” she’s on a plane bound for Westerham, England. Unfortunately, England’s not as welcoming as she hoped–she’s barely arrived before she gets set up, arrested and almost shot.
Things can only get better from here, right? Yeah, right…

This was a clean fun book – I enjoyed it – easy reading…
Just part of a fun little series.
Quick, fun read.
GOOD READ
Interesting concept, but not at all well defined. I’d read another in the series to see if it improves, but was disappointed in this initial outing.
looking forward to reading more of Dionne Lister’s books
Fast read – a bit predictable but enjoyable.
Good writer. Keeps reader engaged.
I really.enjoued this book! It had excellent twists and turns!
Lily Bianchi is an Australian photographer who is leading a happy life when out of nowhere a crazy little woman appears and tells Lily she is a witch and is needed in Westerham, England.
There she finds out her brother and his wife didn’t disappear but instead became part of the Paranormal Investigation Bureau and now he’s been kidnapped and Lily has been drafted to help find him.
She is struggling with finding out she’s a witch, that her parents might be alive and that her camera is her power.
This cozy PN mystery is meant to be pure entertainment and it is. Thanks. More please?.
Character’s are really great use of magic is like normal. Funny how she gets in predictament and then gets out of them. Very cute
Wow, good story. I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. Hope to read more stories with Lily and the other characters.
This is a fun read. Light on the mystery and light on the witchcraft.
“Witchnapped in Westerham” earns 4/5 Curious Photos…Clever Fun!
It’s always enjoyable starting one’s journey in a series with the first book, and “Witchnapped in Westerham” doesn’t disappoint. Donna Lister penned a delightful mystery with the right amount of the paranormal…Ok, I know what’s real and what’s not, but in this world it all seemed enjoyably plausible. Her descriptive style of the environment, character appearances, and first-person inner thoughts was engaging along with an entertaining banter to illustrate personality, tone (great snarkiness), and emotion. Some of the conclusions were revealed earlier than I prefer. As the reader, I like to challenge my inner Sherlock, but the rationale and explanation finished out the story. A kidnapping? A witchy revelation? A special camera? Totally fun!
This was a sort of fun cozy mystery. The main character Lily is a bit irritating and a lot childish for a 24 year with her own wedding photography business. For example; she eats nothing but cakes, muffins and pastries except when she was locked up in jail and not given a choice. She always licks the chocolate and foam off the inside of her coffee cup in public (ewww) and gets cranky if the chocolate sprinkles are left off. She sticks out her tongue at people like a four year old. That being said it was still an okay book. I did find it odd her brother that raised her after her parents disappeared never mentions that they are witches that come into their powers when they turn 24. So imagine Lily’s surprise when weird things start happening.
All in all it was a good book, the idea of witches working for the government investigating paranormal stuff is intriguing. Hopefully in the next book Lily has matured and learned to use her magic properly. I’d read the next in the series if I can get it on $ale.
Interesting well thought out plot kept me guessing until the end.
Wonderfully written with great characters.
