From USA Today bestselling author Dionne Lister comes an exciting new paranormal cosy mystery series. All it takes is one morning for Sydney Photographer Lily Bianchi’s life to go off the rails and over a cliff. A well-dressed English woman turns up at her door, swearing she’s a witch. If that’s not crazy enough, she explains Lily’s brother, James, has been kidnapped and the Paranormal … Paranormal Investigation Bureau needs Lily’s help finding him.
And the craziest part? The Englishwoman tells Lily she’s a witch too. Before she can say, “Where’s my coffee?” she’s on a plane bound for Westerham, England. Unfortunately, England’s not as welcoming as she hoped–she’s barely arrived before she gets set up, arrested and almost shot.
Things can only get better from here, right? Yeah, right…

I enjoyed the first book and looked forward to seeing where things developed in book 2 but after buying the second book, I really had to force myself to finish it. Not nearly as entertaining. Book 2 goes no where. Oh well, enjoy book 1 for free
Great story line. Believeable characters.
Cute series of books. Waiting for book number 9.
Would read it again!!
LOVED IT!
Utter waste of time–predictable and poorly written.
This was a quick read with a ‘becoming a witch’ theme. As the story went along it picked up momentum and by the end you are thinking of buying the next in the series. Young and old can read it and enjoy it.
I didn’t find this book to be at all satisfying. There was no cohesiveness, and the plot just couldn’t keep up.
I want a camera that never needs batteries too.
Lily is disappointed when she doesn’t get a phone call from her brother James on her twenty fourth birthday. The next day, Angelica shows up, tells Lily that she now has witchly powers, and that James has been kidnapped from his job at the Paranormal Investigation Bureau. Soon Lily and Angelica are on a plane to London so Lily can help find James. The book has three conflicts: James is missing and significant blood was found at the kidnap scene; someone is trying to frame Lily and Millicent (James’ wife); and Lily faces a steep learning curve to learn the magical world. This book was delightful, and I plan to read more books in the series.
This was a fun little mystery and looks like would be a good light reading series
It got my interest right away and kept it through to the end. Looking forward to the next one.
Good read.
Fun characters and plot. I am reading the second one in the series. It’s entertaining.
Fun to read
Found this book a bit boring to be honest
Witty and fun to read.
Cute cozy mystery with added paranormal events. Plus I love reading British mysteries, and this is one of them.
Fun little quirky paranormal mystery.
Enjoyed the characters and the storyline.
