From USA Today bestselling author Dionne Lister comes an exciting new paranormal cosy mystery series. All it takes is one morning for Sydney Photographer Lily Bianchi’s life to go off the rails and over a cliff. A well-dressed English woman turns up at her door, swearing she’s a witch. If that’s not crazy enough, she explains Lily’s brother, James, has been kidnapped and the Paranormal … Paranormal Investigation Bureau needs Lily’s help finding him.
And the craziest part? The Englishwoman tells Lily she’s a witch too. Before she can say, “Where’s my coffee?” she’s on a plane bound for Westerham, England. Unfortunately, England’s not as welcoming as she hoped–she’s barely arrived before she gets set up, arrested and almost shot.
Things can only get better from here, right? Yeah, right…

This book is a fun read that builds a world on the politics of witches. I enjoyed the characters coming together to solve the mystery the way they did. This is another series I look forward to reading.
Woman searches for her brother after finding out they are really different.
A fun read
Warning: Spoilers. This book was funny, and an easy read, but I won’t be reading the rest of the series. There were no red herrings, making the villain rather predictable. And I didn’t like the fact that the heroine did not rescue herself. Still, I’ve read much worse books, so I can’t be too hard on this one.
Just plain fun.
I really enjoyed all 8 books. Fun while keeping you interested to read more.
To me, reading about witchcraft is so fascinating and this book showed me even different but fun witches where families are so important. Very enjoyable read
Really liked this book! Just enough mystery to keep me guessing, loved the characters and the mix of magic. Looking forward to reading the whole series.
Take a tragedy in their past and mix in magic, witches, and a magical agency to keep all online and you have entertaining mysteries that are exciting and fun
I have enjoyed this light easy reading series. I’m on the third book and can’t stop!!
I can’t say I could recommend this book as it is kinda silly. But it is an easy read and good for vacation or the beach.
Would definitely recommend
Good read!
Enjoyed the book.
Not anything that I would buy from this author again.
This was a pretty simple story with not a lot happening to hold my interest. Lily lives in Australia. She is visited by a witch from England who tells Lily she is coming into her powers as a witch and that she must travel to England to help find her brother who has been kidnapped. Lily goes to England to help with the search and encounters evil doers in the process that threaten her as well. The writing was okay and the story wasn’t bad, it just needed a little more substance. The author could have spent more time on Lily’s newly developing powers or on her introduction to the world of witchcraft. There were also some interesting characters that were revealed, but never fully developed. I think the author held back too much in anticipation of other books in her series, but in doing so, it left this one flat.
I loved this series. Quick reads and interesting stories.
Very entertaining story! The storyline kept me entertained to the end. I’m looking forward to reading the next story in this series.
