Hope Anderson loves her life. She has a great business that’s thriving, the best friends a girl could ever have, and a coven she can count on. Oh, and she’s been single for over fifteen years and likes it that way… until the love of her life, Lucas King, walks back into town and throws everything she thought she knew about herself into chaos. If that wasn’t enough, now her mother is in town to … town to warn her about a curse that happens to all the Anderson women when they turn forty-six, and she isn’t talking about hot flashes or mood swings. But maybe the curse isn’t so bad, because now there’s someone distributing dangerous drugs in their quaint town and Hope’s going need that curse to bring down the drug dealers and save everything she loves about Premonition Pointe. The question is, will Lucas prove he deserves to be traveling that line with her, or will she walk away the same way she did fifteen years ago?

Hope Anderson loves her life. She and her friends, Joy and Grace, met for their monthly gathering on the cliff. It was her turn to make her wish to look 10 years younger. She cast the spell and her friends started laughing. Handing her a mirror, she was horrified! Her hair had turned back to the same haircut and color she had ten years ago… when her hair had been butchered and chopped and streaked and not at all presentable. She had hidden away for a week until she could get it fixed! She couldn’t bear the thought of having to work with her ex, Lucas King, looking like this! Lucas had come back a few weeks ago, and she hadn’t been right since then. In fact, her friends were shocked just now when it became apparent Hope was able to read their thoughts! How embarrassing! Is this the curse her mom told her about?
Hope has so much more on her plate now with Lucas back in town and someone distributing dangerous drugs. Can Hope somehow use her curse to bring down the drug dealers and save Premonition Pointe? And what will she do about Lucas?
I am always overjoyed to read this author’s books! Despite the laughter we are guaranteed to find throughout, there are such great life lessons buried in the pages! We see that this is what friendships are all about – being loved and cared for, and standing always by your side through the good and the bad. These ladies are there for each other and it makes me appreciate my own friends!
Hope and Lucas… will they, won’t they!!! It was something I kept wondering but really hoping for a yes…lol and honestly Hope never really had a chance of resisting the love of her life…
Hope and Lucas were destined to be together, but in the right time after they both learnt lessons and found their way back to each other.
I really enjoyed this story, the characters were relatable and loveable, the town just makes me want to move in and the plot had me guessing at different turns.
And I have to say I seriously hope Grace’s niece Lex gets her own story I think she deserves her happily ever after too.
I don’t know how this author does it every single time. I like romance but it really isn’t my favorite genre. Her romance books always get me in the feels. This is the second book in a new series, but this one if focused on Hope. Her ex is back and wants to get back together. Along with that, there is a drug running around town killing people, and she wants to get rid of it. I love how diverse this author is, and no matter what she writes, it all comes out like magic. As always, this made me laugh, cry, and everything in between. You can’t go wrong with this author no matter the genre. Highly recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
Very well told story. In this book we get Hope’s story. I find her curse very interesting. I hope she doesn’t get things as bad as her mom. Hope really finds herself in this book. She is broken and I don’t think she even knows it. By the end of the book she has become a stronger person. A lot of questions were answered and we got a adventure and love to go along with it. We get to see everyone we loved in the last book. Even some set up for the next book. Your going to love how this book reads. It is a great second story.
