Our heroine’s witnesses a murder. Or not. With everything kind of fuzzy, she needs to find the real murderer before her friend takes the fall.
This is book four of the series, but it works just fine as a standalone. Everything you need to know will be apparent at the beginning of the story.
This is a cozy witch mystery. The story is well written, easy to read and fun, sprinkled with a good dose of humor. The characters are well developed and provide excellent actors in the play. It is certainly an eclectic mix. I found the mystery in the plot to be well done with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing. Overall, it was a very fun read and I look forward to many more.
Highly recommended.

Percy goes over to Nan’s House against Nan’s Mother wishes, they are not supposed to see each other. Percy is introduced to two new faces to the group. She her gut doesn’t really like the new girl. When a guy comes to the house, saying he was invited to a party, he was confused. They said it was ok for him to stay.
When Percy gets a phone call from Nan, saying that he was murdered and wrapped in a rug. Percy tries to reach her and ends up calling her mother. Which in turns makes Nan’s mother telling Nan she can’t be friends with her at school either. Neither remember anything after a certain point of the night.
When Nan’s mother is arrested for the murder, Percy decides it is time for her to investigate what is going on.
It will take Percy and her friends working together to get the true suspects to answer for their crimes. Seems this is also linked to a old murder of a witch.
This was really cute, clean read. It is easy to get lost in the story, it is well-written and fast paced.
